Were she of a more demure & delicate demeanor, Beatriz would likely be considered an example of 'Classic Valyrian Beauty' as her complexion, hair & eyes are almost stereotypical of the Blood. Years spent on the practice yards & about the fields have given her a frame & a constitution better described as 'Handsome' or 'Striking' than 'Fair' or 'Comely'. At present, her adolescent gawky-ness & a recent growth spurt to less than a hand's difference in height from the family's Sergeant-at-Arms are all that stand in the way of a defining push one way or the other.

Recognition of her people's need for a Leader in congress with them, rather than at arm's-length are all that have kept Beatriz from a life of bookishness & introspection. Years spent with only Maester [tobedetermined] & her nursemaid for company left Beatriz with a love of knowledge greater than any Pious Septa's faith. Only the twinned barriers of her filial obligations & the Tower's own sexist inhibitions kept her from pursuing a chain of her own & she is confronted daily with the reality that her intellect is notably greater than her opportunity to feed it.
Beatriz' response to these many & varied impediments to her own personal desires has been something of an abrogation of self in favor of the good of her community. She takes no small measure of fulfillment from the well-being of her people & has on more than one occasion been noted as stating 'the true measure of a Lord's wealth & honor is the health of those under his charge.' This does not endear her to more courtly individuals.

The fact that her atheistic tendencies are matched by a genuine compassion & respect for the smallfolk of her family's lands only serves to enrage him further.
