Being a chieftain is boring. Adventures are interesting. As goblin chieftains, you have quite reasonably decided that your minions in the Birdcruncher tribe should either entertain you or bring you an adventure to quell your boredom—otherwise, there’ll be trouble! A great feast has been prepared in your honor, and goblins are scattering every which way to get things ready. While the others try to keep you satisfied, a few even went with Squealy Nord to hunt for your favorite truffles.

As the tribe gathers for the celebrations, two goblins—Plunger and Reg Runtweed—wheel out a massive thing covered in a tattered and patched blanket. They claim they have a secret treat that will make all the chieftains happy — a treat they will reveal later during the feast. However, it turns out that goblins aren’t good at keeping secrets. A couple of Birdcrunchers, hoping to curry favor, already ruined the surprise and told you that Reg and Plunger built a statue to honor
the chieftains’ past accomplishments.

First, however, the chieftains need to be entertained!

I will be tied up most of the holiday weekend. Feel free to have some fun and boss your minions about. We will pick up with the amusements on Monday night or Tuesday.

Opening up the discussion thread....

Introductory text will be up soon. Please familiarize yourself with your chosen character so that you can do some brief but fun introductions when the time comes.

I am going to be running a session of everyone's favorite scenario, We Be Goblins!

Characters and Selection: We will use the pregenerated characters that come with the scenario. Their character sheets are available from Paizo as a free download. Please note which character you would like to play when replying to the thread, as selection will be on a first come, first serve basis.

Party size: The party will be strictly limited to 4 players.

Playing style: I am looking for players who will enjoy the roleplaying aspects of being a goblin. I expect zany antics, explosions, and the occasional verse of goblin song. This is a unique scenario, and I would like to see players take advantage of that.

Timespan: The game will take a month or so to complete, depending on players responsiveness.

GMing style: I like to have fun, and I want you to have fun as well. As long as players are responsive, GM imposed Delays and bots will be non-existent. I want you to play you.

Mapping tools: Maps will be provided off of Google Drive's drawings feature. All players will be given a link to the map and are expected to make moves on their own, as appropriate to the gameplay.

Dice rolls: We will be using the dice rolling system that is built into the board.

Player responsiveness: I expect everyone to stay engaged, both in gameplay and discussion. I may control the NPCs, but I want you to control the exploration. Players will be expected to make at least 1 post per day.

Holidays or out-of-town occurrences: I know that people often travel in the summer months. If you are going to be out of town for an extended period, please let me know. If multiple players are absent, we may have a short hiatus. Otherwise, your character may be botted.

I anticipate starting the scenario in about a week, and will use the time in between to recruit. I look forward to gaming with some of you soon!
