Archaeologist’s Luck (Ex)
Fortune favors the archaeologist. As a swift action, an archaeologist can call on fortune’s favor, giving him a +1 luck bonus on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and weapon damage rolls. He can use this ability for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + his Charisma modifier. Maintaining this bonus is a free action, but it ends immediately if the archaeologist is killed, paralyzed, stunned, knocked unconscious, or otherwise prevented from taking a free action to maintain it each round. Archaeologist’s luck is treated as bardic performance for the purposes of feats, abilities, effects, and the like that affect bardic performance. Like bardic performance, it cannot be maintained at the same time as other performance abilities. This bonus increases to +2 at 5th level, +3 at 11th level, and +4 at 17th level.

How are we doing Crits in case that hits? i'm a fan of just multiplying the roll, but some gm's have us roll damage again.

There are only 3 words that can be spelled with those set of letters, i think i have it... Those words are Cruel, ulcer, Lucre. Which is a word meaning to gain money in a greedy or otherwise negative fashion Azari goes over and tries to rearrange the letters to Spell Lucre, whilest spewing out his information as he does

Azari follows into the study and immediedtly takes to looking at the ancient Thassilonian object, Where did you find this specifically? it's covered in Thassilonian runes He's completely nerding out pulling out many of his books and tomes. He runs his hand only the runes curiously studying the feel and runes.

Azari watches the Golden angelic figure more curious about that than the half elf before him, as it disappears his eyes go wide and he makes a few quick jots down in one of his journal. The young half elf's elven features stand true over his human ones, though is pointed ears not as pronounced, his hair lustrous and silver, though his robes appear nice a single patch stands on his robes looks as though something was torn off and a new piece sewn in.

Azari, scholar of ancient lore and dead civilizations. I have some contracts with the Society but i am somewhat independent. I received a letter from Sheila whilst in the midst of my studies. He gets up to greet and offers a hand to shake.

Tent is 20lbs.

I've thought about it and decided to edit my load a bit, getting rid of a crowbar, grappling hook, iron pot the tent and noble outfit, would reduce me to 48.5 lbs and get to light load. that's all unnecessary stuff to me anyway, i can pick up at a later date if needed. That would increase my gp by 88 pieces

Also GM i'm going to drop torches, for an addition 10 pound drop. I had the realization i can cast light. why do i need torches lol? and if i need fire, i have flint and steel.

MY new current equipment goal is getting to light load and being able to carry my own stuff properly. whether that be through magic item or otherwise

Azari puts together his things, thinking deeply of the future, of everything that has transpired in his 100 years or so, honestly he lost track. It seemed a bit obnoxious to keep track of his age when he lives so long naturally anyway.

He considered briefly or not to himself of course, whether he should response to such a call, but in his heart he owed a debt to the Society for allowing him to continue pursuing his favorite task and ignoring his family entirely. if he did game a degree of fame it would be with his new name, not his family.

Gathering his notes on the ever mysterious Thassilonian civilization, he wondered why this Sheila would contact. Perhaps it was because he was the one of the few people practiced in dead languages.

That aside, he was more than ready for some quest or adventure. His cautious questioning nature giving way to his desire for adventure and maybe just a bit his unrelenting want to rub his potential new fame in his families face...

Putting the old tomes he took away, and passing through the halls and walls of books and old works, he loved the smell of old parchment and leather. It allowed him an escape from his various darker thoughts and past.

Overcome with his new found urge to quest he sets out to prepare for Heidmarch Manor, firstly by figuring out what time it was... this note could have been received yesterday while he fell asleep face first in a book. He was physically ready, if a bit weighted down, but better to have and not need than need and not have. He sets out for Heidmarch Manor, hoping he's not early or late for that matter.

1) mistake on my part during development

2) another mistake during development. I'll switch out weapon finesse

3) as weird as this might sound, i have never in any of my games and time on the forum paid attention to the weight of mundane ammo, coins ect. If we are I'm honestly just getting rid of it all entirely. Its one number addition too many for me.

4) doing the above fixes my weight issue

5 and 6 ) I'll buy a component pouch just in case regardless, i did buy a bards kit as i don't like buying mundane things, its a drag. If its in there then yes, if not then no.

Saturday's are unfortunately my busiest day of the week and i just got laid off from work due to the Corona virus scare. So my reaponse won't be until tomorrow slash Midnight tonight . I don't want to give a half assed response

Done as well, turns out Alabaster outcast worked perfectly with a different part of my background so not much had to change.

Ammon Here is my submission. Azari the Silver, Archaeologist Bard. A skill monkey character, support and secondary caster/melee

I have a lot of Experience in PBP, pretty consistent poster, i GM mainly home games on Tuesday currently. i've actually never done the first book of Rise of runelords, i wound up in as a replacement character for a player that dropped around book 2 and that game ended, i think in book 2 before the game died.
