If it's not to late, I'd actually be interested to continue, especially as Azadeh would probably hate not to go after the kidnapped pathfinder. Apart from that, I had too much fun with this adventure and the other players/characters, so I wouldn't want to miss out on a continuation.

Azadeh shrieks with pain when the negative energies flowing through her body lets her muscles spasm. "You'd kill your own companions? You don't deserve to live." she presses through her teeth, mustering all the concentration to answer that attack with another hail of stones.

But the pain pierces her willforce and the stones drop harmlessly to the ground before they even reach the witch.

"Tough bastard, aren't we?" Azadeh mutters when the red-haired warrior still stands after her and Calephe's combined attacks. Undeterred she calls again on the powers of earth, and let's another hail of stones fly against Hjort.

Azadeh hesitates for a moment, because she doesn't want to endanger her companions, but then she calls upon the powers of the earth again, forming a little hammer she sends flying against the goblin dog threatening Hskrota.

"Sarenrae's searing sunrays, is all the earth in these blasted lands frozen?" Azadeh curses when again one of her attacks fails. But soon, she has calmed herself and gives it another try.

Now that Calephe has made herself some room, Azadeh tries to help Tiny by taking on one of his opponents.

"You two stay down here, and don't try to run anywhere" Azadeh shouts at the barkeep and and the fake Hjort. Then, seeing that Calephe seems to do fine for the moment she still tries to do away with her original target, before he can do more damage to the Varisian warrior.

But his sudden charge at Calephe takes her off-guard and the ball of motes and dust she wanted to let drop from the ceiling falls harmlessly behind him on the ground.

"Let them sleep. If we wake 'em up, they might try something stupid, and I'm not sure iw we want to have all hell break out in there." Azadeh points at the Hornet Helm's door.

"So, what do we do? I don't think I like the way those two got out, and I'd prefer not to take the same route, but I also don't like the thought of freezing here in the cold. And what if we find one or both our targets in there?"

"Yes, thank you, it is". Azadeh replies to Etude's question. Then she smiles sheepishly. "When I read about the cold in the north, I thought that the author would totally exaggerate on that point. Didn't even believe my father when he told me about it. Shows that he was right all the time."

"But I really should try to get my hands on some of those potions as it seems, that I wouldn't be very helpful without."

Azadeh turns her head to see if she can ask the Linnom Roar's innkeeper after a shop that might have such potions.

Azadeh shudders when the healing powers of Scuttlebutt's wand flow through her body. "Thank you, too, my friend, I really feel better right now."

First off, apologies that I was quiet for so long

Azadeh smiles when she hears the excited bards words when he leaves the inn with Hskrota and Thundercloud. The warmth of the inn and a comfortable bed has helped her overcome the freezing cold and she feels ready to take on what might come today.

"Guess he's right, I'd better watch out for an opportunity to get myself some of those potions. That's something you don't need too often in sun-blessed Qadira. Etude, I'll accompany you, we'd better stay together in case another group of Ulfen thugs might decide to try their axes on us."

Azadeh is accompanying Etude as long as she's safely able to but would return to the inn before the cold gets the better of her

I'll let anyone else take a potion. If everything goes well (as if it would^^), Azadeh should normally stay out of melee, so everyone else might have more use for it (I hope ^^)

"It's a shame that we couldn't take any prisoners. According to the letter, they should observe Skagni's home, not burn it down. I really would like to know what went wrong here."

Following the examples of her companions, she tries to get in contact with the locals to hopefully learn about Hjort or Reda implying that she might want to do a business with them if anyone asks, but without getting too specific about it. But soon the cold gets the young woman, who is used too much warmer climates.

I do have an 24 hour shift tomorrow and only come back home on friday 8 AM CET, so I might not be able to post anything til then.

If there's need to bot Azadeh, she would continue to earth blast as long as she can hold her distance from the enemies. In close combat she might use her dagger, but will mostly fight defensively.

Azadeh falls back, then sidesteps behind Tiny's back to get in a better position. With a rolling gesture of her hands she collects a ball of ash and coal from the burnt house and sends it towards the nearest enemy to her position.

Azadeh shudders involuntarily at the sight and this time, it's not the cold. "I knew that we are not particularly well-thought of in some regions but still. Who would do such a horrible thing?"

Looking over Hskrota's shoulder, she examines the scenery as well, though the distraction of the bloody writing makes it difficult for her to stay focused.

if you allow for that, I'd rather use the aid another action on those checks to bolster Hskrota's results as my modifiers aren't terribly good with those skills.

Calephe's excitement and the Thundercloud's amusing grandstanding prove as infectious.

"You're right, that bit of cold shouldn't distract us from the great opportunity to experience the beauty of the north. The view of a snow-covered forest alone must be breath-taking, if my father's tales are to be believed."

She smiles at the others.

"Well met, again, it's always a pleasure to meet new faces."

She looks at the Wayang and giggles slightly.

"And masks."

The young qadiran woman shivered slightly as if already feeling the snow she so far had only heard and read about. Looking down on her green caftan she smiled weekly. "Guess I will have to change my garments, before we ship in. And unluckily I might be the wrong person to ask for assistance in carrying that chest. But as we're not alone that shouldn't be too much a problem, I hope?"

Azdaeh would go for a cold weather outfit, and if she can find it, a pair of snow shoes.

from the PRD: "Physical blasts are ranged attacks that deal an amount of damage equal to 1d6+1 + the kineticist's Constitution modifier, increasing by 1d6+1 for every 2 kineticist levels beyond 1st. Spell resistance doesn't apply against physical blasts.

"By the Everlight's fiery wings, finally I hit something." Azadeh grins, trying to repeat the feat against the next opponent as well while moving to the side so as to better see the target.

I don't want to give the impression that I want to blame anyone for anything, and especially not you. It's just that I feel that especially in the last encounters, we players didn't get done much and most of the time you had to pull us from one encounter into the next one for the game to progress. I know that it has something to do with the time limits set by the adventure and this being a multi-table game, but that's something we knew beforehand, so we probably could have done better in respect to this. I know that I should have.

Still I like the characters collected in the group and I would love to see them adventuring together in a more free-form play, so maybe it's just that I underestimated the way a game with this general set-up would develop. Again, it's mostly that I'm dissappointed in myself for not handling it better.

Hi, friends,

I just had a short communication with Shifty. I feel a bit frustrated about how this game went so far and especially about not being able to contribute as much as I normally would expect from myself, so I feel that I'm undeserving of the boon I got by luck of the roll. Now Shifty told me that I could gift the boon to another player and I'd like to do that. Now I feel that it would be unfair to single out anyone of you by any arbitrary reasoning I could make up, so I would like to gift it to Barl for having the second highest boon roll in nightdeath's post (yeah, it's still arbitrary but at least it isn't influenced by me personally ^^).

Thought about doing this behind the scenes but I don't want to give the impression that I prefer anyone over the other and I don't want to cause any bad blood about it.

Azadeh doesn't know too much about Lung Wa and it's culture, so she finds it hard to determine what role exactly is portrayed by any given costume.

Instead she goes for one that seems to be the most comfortable while also not hindering her from doing any moves.

Azadeh didn't care too much about the quarrel between the ronin and the barkeep. The events of the last few hours have given her a lot to think about and she still feels the sword cutting her flesh. Still when it seems that that's the only solution, she puts 5 gold pieces to the table, because the only other thing on her mind now is to get some sleep as soon as possible.

Staggering under the imapact of the greataxe, Azadeh nearly loses her crossbow. Trying to get out of harm's way she takes a step back, then decides to give her earth powers another try (if only so as not to need to use her damaged arm) and return the facvor onto her female enemy.
