As the Pathfinders discuss their plan, Aya strokes the feathers of her faithful roc companion, who had joined them for this delicate mission.
“I must share with you some troubling information about Lord Minovitas. It seems he is no stranger to controversy and has long been fighting to maintain his image here in Absalom. I have heard whispers of his exploitation of his ancestral lands and the suffering of his people. The tales are disturbing, and I fear they reveal the true nature of this man!“
Her roc companion lets out a soft coo, as if sensing the gravity of Aya's words. She continues, "
“Furthermore, those who have dared to speak out against him have met with unfortunate ends. At least two individuals who shared stories of his transgressions have vanished without a trace within the past month. Lord Minovitas's actions have not gone unnoticed by his superiors either. He has faced formal censure for 'ignoble conduct,' actions that would be considered felonies if committed by a commoner!“

Aya listened intently as Lady Gloriana shared her concerns about the situation at hand. The portraits, in their current state, would only serve to feed the egos of the undeserving and perpetuate a false narrative about Taldor's role in the Worldwound victory. Aya knew that the truth was important, and that people should not be allowed to rewrite history for their own benefit.
As Lady Gloriana finished speaking, Aya pondered the task before them.
“I understand the gravity of this situation!“ she began, her voice steady and full of conviction.
“We will do our best to ensure that the truth is not overshadowed by the whims of those seeking to glorify themselves undeservedly. But we must tread carefully and use our skills with wisdom and discretion!“

As Aya stood among her fellow Pathfinders, the cacophony of conversation swirling around her, she couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and apprehension.

VARIANT CHANNELING - NEGATIVE ENERGY:
An iconic ability of clerics is their power to channel positive or negative energy, whether for healing, for damage, or to turn or command the undead. However, given the great variety of deities and their divine portfolios, it naturally follows that some deities would endow their mortal servants with the power to channel energies in other ways that more closely mirror their particular focus. The following categories are examples of alternative channeling abilities based on the nature of a deity's power; for example, a fire deity's negative energy channeling may deal fire damage as part of or instead of the damage from channeling. When you create a cleric character, decide whether she uses the standard form of channel energy or a variant presented here based on one aspect of her deity's portfolio. Aya looks at Ki Chin with some admiration and also nods at To-to and Elemenar after knowing that they were involved.

"I was involved in the investigation of a tomb full of undead and traps and perils - it was the Crypt of the Everflame where we eradicated corruption and destroyed an awakened ancient evil which sought vengeance against the people of Kassen!
The next mission led me to the anarchic city of Kaer Maga where we cleared the prestigious tomb, the Godsmouth Ossuary - and we found a temple from an ancient empire devoted to sin and other manipulations against the church of Pharasma.

Another woman wanders into this social event and walks straight to Anastasia.
She walks with slow steps, is clearly from the Inner Sea region but is wearing Osirian clothing and a pendant showing the holy symbol of Horus which is the Eye of Horus. She is not the most agile woman although she is clearly beautiful.
