"Throw it now!" Autumn shouted. The elemental sucked up the rope before it flew over to the rampart and tied the rope off. "GO GO!" Autumn shouted as she ran towards the wall as she commanded Frostbite to go to Titan.
Augustina threw the rope to the air elemental. When Autumn shouted to go, Augustina followed after her.
Torek ran after Autumn, getting close in to the wall with her
Titan held steady, waiting to see if the group would be successful and be able to open the gates.
The main problem I have seen is the fact I must turn off my computer to do something else for like, an hour after work. To keep work and home life separate. Cool! I'll make my post shortly and we can get back on track!
I made lead! Which now explains why I was given three dollars more an hour than the others. And now I'm fully set up to work from home!
Well I've already gotten a huge pay raise! So there is that. Also I forgot to ask, would an air elemental be able to tie something off?
I'll get a post up tomorrow! We're going through the transition at my work and I've been busy onboarding and closing things out at the old place. I've a small suspicion that... I think they're going to make me an area lead! They keep giving me more and more responsibilities... or I'm just getting used... *shrugs*
That sounds like a nightmare...

Autumn bit her bottom lip before a thought struck her. "Buy me time!" She said before she looked to Augustina. "Get a rope and be ready." Then Autumn began to call on the connection of her ancestors.
Following Autumn's request, Augustina got out a length of rope and made her wait to Autumn's side to wait. "What am I going to do" She asked the Huntress. "You're going to throw it, just wait." Autumn answered.
"Right, providing cover fire!" Torke called as he let off another volly.
Titan repositioned and got ready.
Well it ended up being more than an hour but since you said you where going to be busy I took some time to actually read through the character sheets a little more in-depth.
"Oh we've more than magic." Autumn said before she motioned to the others. "Get ready, we've no idea what awaits us!" She called. Then she took aim at the tattooed man. "I'm finished speaking."
Larin reached own and touched Torek's bow, grand it the power of the storm.
Augustina called down a blessing from Cernunnos. "Bring us the power to cast down this pretender, show them there is but one Stag Lord!"
With the aid of Larin, Torek takes aim at the tattooed man alongside Autumn, unleashing his own arrow.
Unable to join in the volley of arrows, Titian road out upon Esprit to get into position for whatever would come through that gate.
Cool, I just wanted to make sure I had everyone before I started doing round 2, just to ensure no one was forgotten! Give me a bit, as there is a few things I need to check on their sheets, and I'll get a post up! Say and hour or so.
Just making sure really quick, we have everyone who is on the Stag Keep map as NPCs correct?
I got the characters, so if Herger just moves the counter then we can hit the ground running!
*heavy sigh* As much as I hate to say it but you're probably right... Can't say how depressed that makes me...

Disney is pretty fun! Even for adults! Though my feet hate me... and I'm so tired...
"Take this time to use it wisely." Autumn said before ran her finger down her bowstring and it glowed with a soft green light.
"I'll have to be, else it means our heads." Autumn commented to Titian. "My life has always been that of rising to the occasion... Surely I can try to once more." "If you have anything that might help you boys I'd cast it now." Autumn told them. "Because I'm starting to think they'll need it."
"Depends on how many there are. I can pick off archers so long as I'm not dealing with being rushed... Truth is we don't know what they'll hit us with." Autumn sighed. "If this goes south, scatter. We'll meet back at the camp we've already cleared." She told them softly.
Autumn twirled an arrow between her fingers as she waited, though the longer time passed the moved nervous she became.
Autumn ran her hand over Frostbite's back, a spell laid upon the touch.
"Indeed... I've a feeling they're not actually going to come out." Autumn pointed out.
"No" Autumn said clearly from her place. "See we are at what people call an impasse. We want our people to be free to live their lives, you're... well you're just the worse at letting that be. So I suggest, maybe, an all or nothing wager. Four of your best, against us. Winner takes all... as the losers will like be dead." She explained.

Standing, Autumn made sure to start getting everything read. "Then lets head off. This has gone on for too long. Let us end this." She said.
"Sadly that is the only way we have left to us. I was hoping there was something else but it seems it is the last choice we have." Autumn said with a sigh as the dished out breakfast. "I'd say we just walk up and knock... and hope we haven't bitten off more than we can chew." Autumn stated as she fed Frostbite. "I'd say Titan go to the front, Herger you remain behind him, Larin you're in the back just in front of me. We'll knock and if we're lucky we could lose them in the rain if we need to... and if it comes down in time." "Any objections?"
"Agreed. Back to the horses, rest up, and we'll return with the dawn."
"So, I think our only way is through the front..." Autumn sadly admitted. "We may just have to bite down and knock on the door even though it was the last thing I wanted to do." She sighed and rubbed the back of her head. "No time like the present... Shall we?"
Well I feel like a human again so that's something, the cough won't go away though...
I've a feeling I'm the only one left.. And I was sick with COVID for the past week! If anyone else is still hear I'd love to know...
"From what I could see it was full of logs." Autumn said. "There is also a cemetery... But it was separate...." She explained. "I really don't want to just go knocking on the front door, but at this point I don't know if there is a proper way in outside of that. Looks like the walls are still good."
"I think we should properly check the other side. There is a gap in the wall there but I didn't have time to actually give it a full look over." Autumn explained.
"My apologies, there wasn't too much but there is a gap on the other side. Though I didn't get a good look as the day is closing and I want to get those of you without dark vision back before it's too late."
Autumn was now very thankful for the vision of her divine ancestors, and takes the time to return to the group.
Fair warning, won't get a post in till tomorrow night. Shit kinda hit the fan at work so we're in clean up mode and I didn't get much time this weekend as it was both my mother's birthday, and then mother's day.
Pausing in this new area Autumn took a bit of time to look around at he gap in the wall.
With a soft sigh, Autumn slips back towards to group, motioned for them to still remain there, and move around to the other side.
Autumn kneels next to the breach and takes a long look, seeing how well it was repaired.
Autumn nodded and gave Herger's had a reassuring squeeze, then looked to Frostbite, "Stay with them" then she headed off around the side.
"It is very much occupied then else the fire would have died or spread all around." Autumn stated. "I'm going to see if I can get a feel on the boundaries. Do you mind remaining here while I look?" She quietly asked.
"Not when I was here." Autumn explained. "Between the water and the cool night I almost froze to death."
"I'm sure she will." Autumn nods before they moved in. As they moved Autumn's eyes shifted and she gave a soft hoot.
"I do believe battle will be at hand." Autumn said, "Let's get the horses a bit closer and then we'll go in with the night on foot."
Sorry to see you got but we understand. So with all of our horses, and their riders roughly how close could we get? Reasonably?
"I say we get as close as we can as night falls. That should give us a little extra cover. We can then leave the horses and a few back and try again what we tried last time. As you said Latin the land will offer us cover to get closer then a team can make it the rest of the way if they're quiet enough." Autumn agreed. "Depending upon how much of the moon is showing you might not need my aid to see." "So, are we willing to risk it?"
"We can try again yes. Maybe we'll actually get close enough to find out what we're up against this time." Autumn said with a nod. "But we'll need to wait till night fall. Can you see in the dark?" She asked Latin.
"We didn't get close enough to tell but I can say there has to be quite a few." Autumn stated as she tried to think back. "I don't know if I could say any would be possible allies if they're bandit but we're not even sure they're bandit... I mean I'm fairly sure but I guess the only way we can know is to just try."
I'm still here. I was just waiting for someone to answer Autumn. I don't want this game to die...
"If we're lucky, that is the one I spoke of." Autumn said as she looked upon it. "We could go during day light or try once more during night fall like we did before." She offered. "The time we looked there was people there." Autumn told them. "Or well... we could hear them."
