I'm necro'threading here but I was curious if Tobias or anyone else made any head way on converting some of the ghostwalk mechanics over?

I love the 3e Ghostwalk setting and would love to continue on with using it in pathfinder, but a man cannot survive on fluff alone!

Well, Maptool is definitely the program we will be using. I've tried fantasyground, and the features do not equal the cost (I'd end up buying for everyone).
VLC has the same draw backs as winamp + shoutcast plugin for me, it wouldn't be true real-time. They generally have a delay that is long enough to throw off the description and general mood, I think.
Edit:

Stinger seems to be just right as far as soundboard program, I just a good way to transmit.

So, after months and months no real D&D play, and a back stock of unused books I have decided to move our games online, using VoIP and Maptool.
For VoIP it will likely be xfire (xfire.com) or googletalk.

Now, what I'm seeking advice is mostly in the sound department.
I'd love A) A way to stream a soundtrack to the players and B) A way to play specific sounds to the plays at certain moments in the adventures (ambient stuff, ominous winds, etc). A soundboard type program for mp3s would be great. Any suggestions?
I was thinking of using a male-to-male ended sound cable from my line-in to my line-out for the music(winamp) and ambient, and my regular mic for Narrating. I'd have to test some in the VoIP program first, though.

Any thoughts, or Advice?

I personally welcome our new jackal-like overlords.
I love the look of the hyena gnolls, they are very vicious appearing, but a change up is fun. Am I to assume these gnolls roll with jackals rather than hyena's in their pack, as well? will be nifty to see them in a module.

I've got the first two True 20 conversions from Green Ronin and will try to get them up on the site tomorrow.

You sir, are my hero.

Oh no, game tomorrow night with the new Dwarven Forge +1 tiles and no true20 conversions :O
Any word from the editors? ETA?

Hey Autolycus, I'm handling the conversion of Pathfinder. Pathfinder 1 & 2 are finished and going through editing and layout. How long that will take is subject to their individual workload so no estimate on when they will be released will be reliable.

I can tell you what you can expect; full conversions of every NPC, Creature, & Hazard. There's also a handy section for converting skills and treasure awards to the wealth system. Also, we're reprinting any feat or power that's not in the core book so that having other True20 products is not mandatory.

Hope that helps!

I came back to this thread to quote what you said on the true20 forums and saw this post, w00t :) can't wait.

I'd love to see them, as well.
Austinnickell at gmail.com :)

I was aware of that, I'm keeping up with the blogs and message boards around the green ronin and paizo communities, just hoping for an official response ;)

So I've been running pathfinder on True20, last we played the PCs were just about to get to the glassworks. Given how seldom we all get together for a game the streamlined mechanics really help out, and I was curious when to except the official true20 conversion supplement(s)?
I've been running on the fly conversions and using some of Pop'N'Fresh's material thus far, but would love to see some official offerings.

An attack from urban gangs into a rural community should provoke plenty of anxiety ... but the humor of the goblins will be lost.

Why not make them addicts? I think thats how I'd try to squeeze the goblin type personality into a human in the modern day and age, that or mental patients.

No, was directing towards any Paizo staff reading through.
I'm definitely for a low-magic, gritty type setting. True20 facilitates it well, thankfully.

Good stuff, I'll be using your conversions until some official rules come out.
Any word on when the green ronin conversions will be airing? I'm interested to see if it'll be a straight rules conversion or if they will be offering suggestions on balancing the game towards the item-light true20 styling.
