About Auntie Beth

While being taught cooking, herbalism, languages and how people tended to think, Miss Thisslyn always longed to leave her rural life and explore her huge world of adventure. After a swaggering band of adventurers tromped through town spending money, she first heard of the Pathfinder Society and swore to her pet ferret that she would join it before her second decade. On the day of that oath, her pet finally spoke back to her.

After being acclaimed as mildly capable by her mentor and an optimal mother/housewife by her parents, she left on the eve of her nineteenth birthday. Leaving only a long farewell note behind, she began her quest for a breadth of experience and understanding, to join a band of ambitious explorers and bring knowledge and aid to the world.

Wearing her auburn hair in a bun and a lot of violet lace, Miss Thisslyn's dramatic idealism belies a sharp intellect and rich imagination. She makes sure to be polite but hates being wrong. She thinks owlbears are cute but won't admit it. Due to a surprisingly plentiful amount of violence in her career, she's begun to adopt a more pragmatic, frustrated demeanor.

In her off-days, she works at the Baltwin Home for Recovery, and cooks for the Morilla Estate. Despite becoming more adept in witchcraft and cookery, she refuses to cackle, screech, drink or obey her parents' letters asking when she'll get married.
