I did a quick search under rules questions, but didn't see this covered and wanted some clarification. If I took a level of a class that granted a specific familiar (i.e. Leshy Warden Druid), and then switched to another class that also granted familiars (i.e. Eldritch Guardian Fighter), does the new class skill surrounding familiars get granted to the familiar from my previous class? For example, would my leaf Leshy now be granted all of my combat feats?
Hi! I posted this a few hours ago in the Strange Aeons, but I thought it might get more views and input over here :D As soon as the plague finishes its run of terror and we're getting back together for gaming, my group will be starting Strange Aeons, and I'm super excited! For those of you who have played through it I would like a bit of character advice as I'm worried that my build I've designed will be less effective in later levels. Primarily she's an intimidate rogue build intended to bounce randomly and chaotically around the battlefield giggling and demoralizing her enemies. I have a PDF of my build design here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e_osHjX_W5ZmneGIYpnn7LIfr4AIahgQ/view?usp= drivesdk From a roleplay perspective she's Chaotic Neutral, and often pretends to be a human child to garner sympathy or to lure a victim into a false sense of security. She's intended to be somewhat creepy. She casts no shadow. Is apparently fearless, giggling at the horrors around her. And disappearing from sight at a moments notice. Anyway I would appreciate thoughts and criticisms of the character build! Thanks!

Hi! I was curious of how one might spec out a water elemental that has been filled with cornstarch to transform it into a Non-Newtonian fluid. If it moved slowly and relaxed it could envelope and suffocate, but if it moved quickly it would hit like concrete :D Just for fun, but the idea intrigued me!
Hi! I'm building a character for Strange Aeons, and since it is a creepy campaign I wanted to build a creepy little character. Submitted for your advice on how to tweak her and make her better, I give you "Boo". Halfling Unchained Rogue (Knife Master) (20) CN alignment

Question for you animal companion experts. I've never played a class with an animal companion, and in researching I have found some conflicting information that I'd like clarified. Does an animal companion lose some of the feats and abilities listed for that animal under its bestiary entry, or does it gain those features in addition to its animal companion statistics? For example, The entry for Velociraptor on pg 59 of Bestiary 4 says that they have weapon Finesse, Improved Initiative, and Evasion however none of these abilities are listed on the Velociraptor animal companion entry on pg 54 of the Core Rulebook. I have read guides that say high dex animals get weapon finesse for free, but don't point to any specific rule listed that supports this claim. Also, if velociraptors do get evasion from lvl 1, do they then get improved evasion when the animal familiar gains that ability at lvl 3? Thanks in advance for the help and advice!
Greetings! I am playing a Div-Spawn Tiefling Dervish of Dawn in a Legacy of Fire adventure path, and I am trying to plan out my character build. I have the Finding Haleen (Bard),and magical Knack (Bard) traits. And my stats at 1st level are STR 12
Here are my thoughts, I welcome yours!
Valid points all. I think I will use both of those archetypes, and I would mostly be flurrying with the hair so that little bit of added damage will add up over multiple hits. I was using Hero Lab's designation for weapon focus. You have to select slam in order to get it to apply to the hair attacks. And the reason I went with boar style is the sheer intimidation factor. Extra damage plus bleed, plus demoralizing. I plan on putting a point into intimidation every level. Plus the free constriction after grapple is an instant 2-hit so the extra damage is pretty much automatic. Edit: the increased weapon size doesn't stack? That's disappointing. Frees up a feat then. What to put in its place...
So I was trying to build a White-Haired Witch and I came across this build https://www.myth-weavers.com/showthread.php?t=205787 The build is fundamentally flawed, but it gave me a few ideas and was a nice starting point. I have designed my own version and I wanted to present it for critique and advice on how to make it better. Thanks in advance!
