Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
He walks over to the bags and pulls out a map, coming back over to the bandits he spreads it out on the table.
sense motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
walking back over to the bandits Nothing is set in stone at this point, what you should be doing is thinking about how much is your life worth to you and how can you make sure you get to keep breathing. Looking at the conscious one before checking on the unconscious ones to make sure they were still alive. I am not sold on stringing you up at this point, the more you help us.. the more likely you are to walk away form this alive! With a sigh he looks around the room before continuing...
diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
scratching at his beard I am not a fan of stringing people up, ask Oleg if any of these have ever shown any qualities that they may be redeemed and we can proceed from there... as for the other problem I am more inclined to try and hit them first so we don't have to worry about innocents getting hurt or unnecessary damage to this place.
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
Not sure how to press with this interrogation... maybe we should play up the fact they could A: Live and B: no longer be glorified errand boys for some bandit... maybe they could even end up on the right side of things...and richer for there efforts. I don't know just spit balling.
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
Nodding he leaned forward As an example if I were to hide in the warehouse while Oleg and Svetlana showed the goods to the bandits and Blue Jay and Marty and you were outside the outpost to cut them off at a pre-arranged signal I come out Axe and shield ready Oleg and Svetlana retreat to a safer place as the bandits focus on me... and this is the time you three come in through the gate we catch them between us and lessen the chances of them escaping... or something like that. Finishing up he leaned back thinking on it some more.
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
nodding he quietly suggested let the bandits in to look over the goods... I should probably stay hidden inside so they will have a focus when you make your move outside the outpost, and I will be in position to cover Oleg and Svetlana till they are clear of the rukus. Looking around he added Anyone have additional suggestions on this? I am just tossing out ideas.
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
I am not saying we do this to the bitter end, but there is no reason we cant try to help out, maybe make some coin, and possibly help make some people's lives better! Looking around the table at each person trying to judge how they feel maybe just maybe things can pull together enough for people to be able to stand on their own and protect what's theirs. With a shrug he leaned back in his chair staring into a mug of water deep in thought once more.
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
With more information, we should be able to help with that situation, if you don't mind us hanging around here... kind of use the post as a base of operations. He said looking at the others to see if they agree. And of course you will be compensated for your time and usage of the facilities
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
Nodding he stared off into the woods... I know I am tired of working for some penny pinching skin flint, risking my life for just enough to live on... might be nice to be in the group calling the shots... to take a chance on improving my life. Smiling at the exuberance of the wizard he chuckled.. Maybe we should just try to pack up what we can in the chest and the back packs... then tomorrow we can figure out what goes on what pack horses and then head out?
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
walking over he picks up a nice Emerald green cloak trimmed in gold, an ornate pouch, and a masterwork backpack. Picking up the mink key he turns it over in his hands while pondering the chest. multiple keys... maybe multiple people turning a key will bring different results?
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
shrugging he nodded sounds fair enough I would suggest we all go gather it and take it to the horses... and uh... if you have never ridden before we will take our time today you will most likely have some interesting aches tonight. With that said he turned and went back up stairs to begin gathering the gear.
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
walking downstairs he pauses at the young lady pushing the bedroll and the cold iron dagger into her hands. It gets cold out there on the road at night lastly setting the Healers kit in front of her. walking over to Blue Jay he pushes the Alchemist fire (3) and oil(2) into his hands. Looking around at his comrades he chuckled quietly Well if anyone wants any of the other gear its in the room upstairs otherwise let the bar keep make some extra coin is my opinion, but I think we take all 3 horses with us, remounts are never a bad idea.
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
taking his hand with a smile there was no rudeness, I am just glad you were willing to assist down stairs, good to meet you Blue Jay Looking around he gathered his gear and stretched out on the floor Im for an early nap wake me before the last of you goes to sleep just in case Leto comes back with friends! Quickly a soft snore drifted up from his prone form.
Male Human Fighter (Tactician)
if you need to show us then by all means come along.. take a horse as needed and whatever weapons or gear you need from them. Looking around at the others.. might as well sleep here tonight strike out early in the morning! Sorting through the gear picked up from the bandits.. I would like to keep the Dwarven waraxe we should probably split the potions between us, the rest I don't really care about, perhaps we just pack it out for now and sell it on the road?
