Arthur didn't hesitate when Carric attacked, the time for consideration was over. He drove his rapier before him towards the ghost.

Arthur is conflicted so will just back in for Carric's snap decision

I was looking at the map and noticed the Dessarin River marked on it, I'm starting to get an idea of where we are in relation to places I know of now.

Arthur looks conflicted... maybe it would be best to let the dead slumber rather than stir them to action at the behest of the green dragon. "Truth be told, I'm not sure if helping the dragon is the wisest thing we could do. I still seek the Albino but but many a would be hero has become a villain by not considering the ramifications of what they do. I'll not force my agenda on the group without concern. We've hampered it's schemes, if that's where this adventure ends I can live with that. Stirring the silent dead to action could have grave consequences."

Arthur listens to the conversation with the undead... deciding it might be best to leave Carric take the lead for now. He tries to recall if he's ever heard of this Reluraun before.

"We'll have to keep our wits about us but I fear there's little I can do about this cold in this cloying mist. We didn't come prepared for this expedition."

I mean at the very least we should start heading into the valley. Crossing this dragon might be a bad idea... as would helping it. Getting the sword and tracking the albino seem not mutually exclusive, we should be mindful of it's tracks as we leave this area. It's not a one man choice. Depending on the nature of the sword it might be significant enough that Arthur has to swallow letting the Albino escape... if it's just a really nice looking sword maybe he can live with the deal.

"Yes, it is a thief if it is the one I have sought out... but I can not be sure until I draw close to it. I'd track it down and put the matter to rest if I had a trail to follow. Leaving you with no further interference. As for how this would benefit you, I know this one has done enough to justify it's end. If we end it then you could be assured it would never return to your lair to seek what it covets. It has allies beyond simple gnolls, far more dangerous including a skilled wizard."

"I am Arthurs. Metaphor, a gnoll... a flynd to be exact. A large albino. It may be the one I seek or it may not but this one has committed enough vile acts on it's own to justify it's pursuit. We had not sought to draw your ire by coming to this place but..."

Arthur leaned forward a little despite his impulses telling him to flee. "...the albino is cunning and formidable. It was the one who sought out this place. Might it have hoped to steal something from you... no doubt something it would now consider foolish through direct force of arms despite the forces it brought with it. However, I think it would think little of sacrificing the other gnolls to acquire whatever it came here for in some ruse. Hashima your prowess is plain for any with eyes to see but you must still hunt, and rest... tend to your interests. The Albino will no doubt give in to base avarice, if tempered by fear of your prowess. Even they will see the folly of direct confrontation unless they are truly daring or mad..."

"...but treachery to steal from you when they feel the time is right? That is something they will no doubt engage in sooner or later. What precious treasure of yours do they desire... it must have been something magnificent to risk your wrath."

Why did I not pick Gnoll

Concerned about facing down against a dragon and gnolls Arthur sheathes his rapier... one or the other is one thing, but both at once?

@Revjak, add +1d6 to the total. Also did you mean to roll 1d2?

"Right taking them all out with a dragon on the prowl is foolish to do in one night. We must temper our zeal and fury. One more foray to keep them off balance before we retire from the field for the day."

"Agreed. We're certainly in no state to fight a dragon if we ever were but I think we can make a foray in once more after catching our breath. Thin the numbers of the gnolls further. Whatever they came to do they needed good numbers so their plan should be slowed down already. With their supplies aflame they may have to divert some of their number to go foraging."

@Revjak, Arthur healed you for 7 hit points!

Arthur moves in with the others. "Revjak let me see those wounds. That fire I started will spread here before long. If you spot anything of use in here grab it, I wouldn't want to spend too long here. Let's withdraw, things went our way but it was a close run thing."

"For other creatures your words would hold more truth. Experience has given me a hard earned education. I have faced many gnolls in my time. They like to sleep in large groups within close quarters.
