Dwarf Rogue 1
====================
Jerrid cannot hit those DCs. The outcast turns to the fight with the halforc and moves up behind them to distract the bowmen. The dwarf breaks cover and stabs at the back of a knee. Move 20ft and attack a halforc. Rapier in rear 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16, damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Dwarf Rogue 1
The Outcast takes his chance and moves towards where Vortigern stood. Then he dives at the man's ankles (or where they were) hoping to bring him down before he can run for it. 20ft Move, Grapple attempt 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (14) + 0 = 14Edit miss chance (0-50%) 1d100 ⇒ 35 No wizard is going to get the better of me. How did I fall for that dumb ambush when we knew he was after us Why didn't I check the area first! Why! Why!
In 3.5E there was a prestige class (I think it was in Complete Adventurer) where you could marry together paladin and rogue - shadowbane stalker or infiltrator? I can dig the book out later today. Could I aim for a variation of that but making an assassin style LE antipaladin rogue, GM Tierce? Because you are looking for four players do you think that optimised characters have a better chance than ones built for more characterful reasons? I'm just trying to get a feel for your GM style before I invest the necessary prep time in creating something decent. Your answer will help me solidify race and archetype choices. Suffice to say this is an AP I'd like to get into. Cheers
Dwarf Rogue 1
I am afraid that I am going to have to bow out of your excellent game. Actaris, I would prefer Arodwumm to just wait in town, in case my workload decreases sufficiently to allow me the opportunity to resurrect him. It has been good fun and I am sorry to do this while you are so busy. Apologies
Dwarf Rogue 1
Arodwumm finishes his search and comes over to the other dwarf. "Master, you have no ordered me to heal you? do you not wish it? I have few spells and I am at your command." Heal check flunked, will cast cure light wounds if requested doing 9pts of healing, converting shield of faith to healing. Arodwumm is careful not to look him. or anyone else, in the eye. He tries to notice if anyone else may need healing.
Dwarf Rogue 1
"Masters, I shall abide by your decisions. The mortals outside do not know what is coming and they are as lambs in the fold." Arodwumm has no armour, but he collects all his magic tools, wands etc together and prepares for everyone's decision. The dwarf calls on his divinely blessed magic and begins to search the upper area for secret doors. Cast detect secret doors. Are there any exits we have missed?
Dwarf Rogue 1
"Master, I have no healing left, but my wand of healing will help them both. And you, if you wish it." First he gets his whitewood wand and applies it to Tsiilmas and Corvin.
"Master, the healing is limited and there isn't much left you should know. Could we rest then maybe I can help them myself?" The dwarf asks nervously. Tsiilmas gets 9hps back, Corvin gets 10hps back. Arodwumm gathers the remainder of his equipment and sets about struggling into his armour. However it is soon on, perhaps due to the kobold captivity and his lack of meals.
Dwarf Rogue 1
The creature's words hit home and Arodwumm takes an involuntary step back, then he steels himself and runs over to the bleeding Tsiilmas. Calling on divine healing, he feels safe to cast. 1hp back for the bleeding body. Arodwumm presses down on the man's head, hoping the magic will help.
Dwarf Rogue 1
Arodwumm realising he needs a few more bits, runs back to his stash and returns a few moments later to Anarath. "Master, use this wand, it will make Corvin bigger and stronger, the command is Drakkiss Mondum." Sorts through and hands him a wand of enlarge person. The dwarf has some other scrolls and wands in his hands.
Dwarf Rogue 1
Arodwumm runs around the room to the southern door. He keeps flailing his arms around and flashing he dagger desperately. Moves 30ft and standard action to retain fighting in full defense. He will take any applicable AoOs to get to the door. He tries to avoid getting blocked from the doorway by kobolds. "The door, master's we can run for it, avoid the Overseer's tentacles!"
Dwarf Rogue 1
Once the initiative reaches Arodwumm's turn, he will go full defensive as a standard action and move to a corner. He is pretty useless without his equipment. Arodwumm tries to keep the borrowed dagger between him and the tentacles. He slowly backs away into a corner, slashing at the shadowy limbs.
Dwarf Rogue 1
Arodwumm rushes over to the fallen master. He quickly checks his body for signs of damage and health. Wildly he tries to make head or tail of the symbology of the room. Is this the work of the Last Night? The work of demons? Heal check on Corvin 5+6=11, Know (the planes) 18+7=25, Know (religion) 7+7=14
