Considering I had the lowest perception roll, I'm assuming Yodler meant that it was Xavian and Baraak who know the stuff about creaking floorboards.

After finishing his drink as a move to gain 1 point of drunken rage, Arelius moves two squares left on the board, to where E2 would be if this was a grid like a chessboard. Its about time some excitement showed up. I was beginning to think we would be running. Arelius readies his ram towards the main door (across from the bar). Arelius currently has 5 rounds of rage, and 1 drunken rage point that can give him +20 to speed for a round or another round of rage. Cael will go after him in initiative.

I'm not one for stealth. My talents are more... brutal in nature, but the guard will be drunk by now with the festivities going on. They might take a bribe more easily if we move soon. Worst case scenario we kill them and breach the gate.

To getting out of this hellhole. Arelius adds before continuing But we should be getting down to business, I doubt we have all night.

Arelius turns to the dwarf with a condescending glare and whispers back:
"This 'tree' isn't for the door. It's an Orc skull ram and besides, unlike the rest of you I have an excuse to be pounding on doors in the wee hours of the morning. What where you going to do, moodily skulk in the shadows and wait for someone to come along and solve all your problems for you? I'm sure the city guard would be more than happy to. The longer we stay out here the more likely we are to get caught."

The steady footfalls of leather on stone carry through the night as Arelius strides confidently through the darkness towwrds the poison apple inn. Arriving at the inn he glances at the note: perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 and proceeds to loudly knock on the door before stepping back and readying his massive ram.

The bar grows silent as a tall half Orc walks out from the cellar hefting a barrel of beer over his shoulder and immediately zeroes in on the Halfling. "It's about time you paid your dues Xavien." He snarls, slamming his fist on the table "Let's take this out back." As he turns to walk away he flips a silver coin to the bouncer and sends a meaningful look at the door.

Hear hear :D

Crunch is done now (this is the alias for Bobo). Important notes are that I'm using netural evil as an expression of the good evil axis as Altruism vs Selfishness. Mentally speaking, his identity is almost entirely based on the expectations of the Orcs and half Orcs because he doesn't have stable emotional responses to build his own identity. For campaign specific backstory, he is living in a walled off ghetto in Gatepass as an enforcer for the thieves guild because all the Orcs are terrified of him/respect him enough to not kill him. He is known for his unpredictable temper and his barrel of ale that he lugs around with him to pay his network of couriers. Headstrong, cruel and selfish, he is determined to improve his lot in life. To the Orcs he is a brutal glimmer of hope in a destitute world, to the guild he is an unexpected asset, and to the desperate he is a source of liquor. Arelius is here and this is gonna be fun.
