Ardell looks between the three angry females and shrug at Kressle as if to say told you so. "At least it will go quick. Well, unless your neck don't snap in which case you're looking at choking to death. But i'm sure that won't happen. It usually doesn't" ardell is fine with hanging her men, but he really think it a shame to hang Kressle
"Oh, don't sulk. I can't stand a sulking woman. Look, i know it's not fun getting beaten. Especially in front of your goons. But really, all we want is some answers from you. Well.. unless you want me to want more...?" Seeing no answer about to come from her he says
"Ok, hear me now. See those guys over there? They would enjoy flaying you to death. Slowly. And when i say enjoy, i really mean LOVE. Especially that one" he says pointing at Pavla "Don't let her appearance fool you. She is a mean one. Saw her tear the throat out of a date once. Seriously. It was not a pretty sight. What i mean is, if you don't talk how can i ever convince her that you should be spared?" Not waiting for her to answer he says "You know, her husband was killed when your men attacked Olaf's outpost. She is in quite an emotional state right now, and can't really be held responsible for, let's say unreasonable behavior. If I could tell her how cooperative you have been she might spare your life." "And what is in it for me you might ask? Well first off, I don't like murdering scum bags. Second, I would hate such a beauty as your self go to waste" he finish and give her a charming smile and a wink. "Now, are you the leader of this gang? Do you have more groups like this around? bla bla bla... you know the drill" Persuasion 1d6 ⇒ 3
Yeah let's throw a benny at that re-roll Persuasion 1d6 ⇒ 6
Ace 1d6 ⇒ 1
"My pleasure" "Well, now would be the time you told us who you are and why you are here" He looks over his shoulder at the others "Deja vu, huh?" Looking back at the woman he eyes her from head to toe. "I gotta say hon', i'm a little disappointed by you. I had really thought youwould have a lot more fight in ya"
Disappointed the interresting women doesn't pay him any attention, Ardell nick at her belt with his sword. A smile spreads on his face at the thought of depantsing her.
He bring his other sword hand around in a slash down
benny to reroll
Damage 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7
"Okay on my count" whisper Ardell. "1.. 2.. 3!" Rushing forward with his swords drawn he slashes at any bandit not hit by a missile, going for a quick kill to alert as few as possible. Attack 1 1d6 ⇒ 4
Attack 2 1d6 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0
Benny to reroll:
Damage 1 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7
+4 to hit and damage if we get the drop
Hey, i acutally thought this one dead. I'm happy to see i'm wrong.
Stealth 1d6 ⇒ 5
And he follows Korren and Blackbow towards the voices...
... And draw his swords as they reach cover. Flashing a grin at his companions as he readies for battle.
Ardell get a scowl across his face, throw his hands up and stomp over to pack his horse

Ardell stares at them in disbelief before turning to Pavla. "You hear that? You start giving them choices and they disobey. A lack of dicipline i say!" turning back to the bandits "You had a chance. Number 1 and Number 2 it is." "Kari, i'm of noble birth to. At least my father is noble. I am... misplaced.. Sort of. And that son of b@+&& left me and my mother in a circus, with a chief who abused my mother every night. If you had heard your mother scream like that every day, you would know that even amongst the greatest of titles evil exists, and even in the dirtiest of rivers diamonds can be found"
Pavla Rez wrote: "Ardell, that's ridiculous. We're not going to encourage cooperation by de-humanising them. Besides, we don't even know what their names are." whispers Pavla. "It's not 'de-humanising', it's called dicipline." Pavla Rez wrote: She shrugs. "Of course, we could always make some up." "And i did - Number 1 and Number 2."
Finding his most militaristic voice Ardell starts yelling at the bandits "You heard the lady! Up, up, up!" He starts pacing back and forth in front of them, hand behind his back. "Now we want a nice clean trip. No side treks, no funny bussines. Understand? When we say jump, you ask how high! When we say quiet, you will bite off your tongues!" "You there!" he points at the bandit who talked. "Since you have shown a willingness to reform and cooperate you will be known as Number 1. What we tell you is law." "And you." He walks closer to the bandit that refused to talk and poke a finger in his chest "You will learn to cooperate, or you will die! From now on you will be known as Number 2. You are to carry my backpack at all times, and you will take commands from Number 1." "Number 1, Number 2! You will obey our every order untill you have proven yourself worthy to have your names back." "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"
"Kill us? I can't say about the scum in the shack - guess he'll kill for a meal about now - but this one won't kill us. Aint that right?" "And who can you trust, really? No no seriously, how can you know you can trust any of us? Who know what dark secrets we have in our past" he look with great drama at each of the group "I can sense this one is willing to change." "And if he do kill us... well, i'll take full responsibilty for it" he finish with one of his customary winks
Fabes DM wrote: "I already told you, all I got is that old nag. Sure you don't wanna just hang 'em? They'll slow ya down." "Nah, that would be a waste. I'm telling you, this guy.." he nestle the hair on the bandit that talked "is a fine fella. The other one not so much. But we will change that soon enough, eh?" he says and wink at the bandit "What is your name by the way?" he ask his favorite bandit Ardell will rather have them walk or share a horse with them, than hang them. At least the one that talked. He is beginning to see him as his "project" to be developed
"Bah, allways the worrier. Come on, we didn't even get a scratch in this fight. It's not like we are gonna jump out and say 'Oi, look at us we are here to kill you' - well we probably would get away with it if we did, but of course we are going to plan this raid too. Trust me, they won't have a chance"
Blackbow wrote: "If we wait, they'll know something is up, they'll be ready, of they'll come and burn down this wooden fort, probably in the middle of the night...if we take the fight to them, hide ourselves as the bandits, we can spring a trap upon them." "I like the way you are thinking. And if they fight just half as good as the other chumps it should be a piece of cake"
Pavla Rez wrote: Or he can help us out. If he's a woodsman, could be useful. I get the feeling Oleg isn't keen on employing ex-bandits. Wouldn't be as much employ as forced labor, i believe. But yeah we could use a local guide. "Nah, we won't kill you - though I don't think you deserve a faith better. But you might serve another purpose for us. If you show us to your camp we will let you go after we have dealt with the rest of your gang. And NO funny tricks, you understand? Unless you want to end your life with my sword way up where the sun never shine""Now, as long as you follow these simple guidelines you will find we are all really nice people." he turns towards the others but smack a hand against his forehead and turn back "Ah, where are my manners? Haven't even introduced myself. My name is Ardell" he says and dip into a low bow, sweeping his hat on the ground. Turning to Oleg he clap his hands together "Oleg, my man. I think we could all use a good meal after this ordeal. Do you have anything to offer?" ----- If nothing else happens Ardell will grab a plate with food and visit the other bandit in the shack after dinner.
"So, did you remember anything you wanted to tell us?"
Fabes DM wrote: "Great mother! Saints and spirits! Fine fine, I'll talk!" the bandit yelps. "The camp's two days ride south west of here!" "Aah, see now we are talking. I knew you'd come around. Why did you have to make such a fuss about it? It's a shame you partner was less reluctant to talk. So, how many are you in this camp?"
Blackbow wrote:
"Why?" he ask, sounding as sincere as possible "They are obviously not going to tell us anything, and we can't just leave them here unguarded, and we certainly have no need for them alive." With that he walks towards the back talking bandit, drawing his sword as he goes.
Inside he throw the bandit to the floor, tieing and gagging him.
After a couple of minutes he quiet down and walk outside. Here he dust himself off and clap his hand.
Ardell gather the others so the bandits can't hear what he is saying
Suddenly he raises his voice so the bandits can hear him again "What do you mean let them go if they talk?! They should pay for their crimes!” He wink at the others and lower his voice again ”Let's get them talking, and then we can decide what we are going to do. They might serve as bait for the rest of the gang” Fabes DM wrote: To cut to the chase, what are your intentions here regarding the bandits? Also, do you have a plan of what you'd like to do in terms of exploring? Ardell is trying to bluff them into talking. He is not going to carry through with the threats and he is not going to let Oleg hang them. I suggest we keep them as prisoners and hope the rest of the gang show up (unless we learn they are a hundred of course). We could even send one of the horses back with a dead bandit tied to it, and hope it knows the way home. That will get their attention.
Fabes DM wrote: "What the hell? The gibbet? Look, if we tell you what you want to know, what do we get out of it?" one of the bandits asks. Ardell starts laughing at the absurd notion of bargaining about this "I don't think you really understand it, do you? We don't need you to get this information. Sure it will be easier for us if you just gave it over, and we would absolutely look kind on such an act, but if you don't" he shrugs "it will be nothing more than a minor annoyance." "So, gentlemens. You might think that you are somehow helping your gang by keeping silent, but the truth is we are going to find it and put all of you to the sword sooner or later, with or without your help. So why should you cooperate if we can get this information somewhere else you ask? I'll tell you why; Because you don't want to watch your friend here being decapitated by my friend while a swarm of weasels slowly chew on your own guts, only to be put on a stick for a slow, oh so slow, death" he says in a unnerving cheery tone. "But if you really want to play heroes" he shrugs again "by all means do it. I don't care" "They are all yours" he says to Korren with a tip of his hat. He turn his back on the bandit and starts walking away. Persuasion 1d6 ⇒ 3
"I would listen to her. Did you see what those birds did to your leader? imagine a weasel doing that to you. Yikes." He says and make a disgusted grimace I really feel like doing an inglorious basterds and kill this guy and move on to the next and see what he has to say
"Not so quick there, Oleg. They might have something they want to tell us" He walks over to one of the bandits and stand over him ”That was quite a whooping you got there, eh? You should really learn to pick your fights better.” Taunt 1d6 ⇒ 1
”Now, my good man Oleg here is very keen about putting you two on sticks. But i think you might serve some other purpose. If you tell us everything you know about you gang and the women who was with you the last time I might, might, have a chance to talk him out of it.” Persuasion 1d6 ⇒ 5 +2 if taunt succeeds. (don't really know if taunt can be used this way
Groan… I just posted the best attack, but lost connection as i hit post. Stupid connection. It has been a bit jumpy for a couple of days so if i am slowing things down, please take control of him. Hpefully it's fixed before the weekend. Ardell quickly run towards the bandit and strikes at him with one of his swords running die 1d6 ⇒ 5 attack 1d10 - 2 ⇒ (9) - 2 = 7 -2 is for multi action
damage 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8 "Well, you can call me Ardell” he whisper in his ear as he gently lower him to the ground assuming 7 is enough to hit and is enough to kill him.
As hawk flies from Pavla he glares at her ”Will you stop throwing them damned birds around!?” He composes himself enough to parry the two bandits ”Come on guys, you can do better than that.” As they retreat he eyes a chance to hit them and strikes with both his swords at the helmet bandit. Attack on bandit with helm
Spoiler:
Attack 1 1d10 ⇒ 4 +2 for the taunt, -2 for the fobia hindrance
Wild die 1d6 ⇒ 4 Attack 2 1d10 - 2 ⇒ (7) - 2 = 5 +2 for the taunt, -2 for the fobia hindrance, -2 multi action
Damage 1 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8 Damage 2 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7
I'm unsure how many attacks i get. Do i get one attack with one sword on each? Or one attack with both swords on each? Or one attack with both swords distributed as i see fit?
Attack on the other bandit
Spoiler: Attack 1 1d10 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0 -2 for the fobia hindrance
Wild die 1d6 ⇒ 4 Attack 2 1d10 - 4 ⇒ (5) - 4 = 1 -2 for the fobia hindrance, -2 multi action
Damage 1 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9
Damage 2 2d6 ⇒ (6, 2) = 8

Actually, if you will allow it Fabes, i would like to make that a Taunt and make it my surprise round action. Might as well start playing around with the different options. I will still only do it, if we trap them. Taunt 1d6 ⇒ 4
Also only if we succesfully trap them: Quote: "And speaking of arse, I wouldn't mind a bit o' that, eh lads?" Ardell kicks the door to his hiding place open. "And from what i'm hearing i wouldn't mind a bit of your girls. But since you didn't bring her i guess yours will have to do. Though i hate my asses bleeding to death..."
Ardell walks in just as Pavla makes her suggestion and light up as if he just solved the whole thing.
”If one of you girls were disguised as Svetlana, we would be able to all spring up in the middle of them and finish it quickly.” he hook his thumbs in his belt and looks satisfied with himself. His face beams once more in enlightenment ”OR! We could even let them take us straight to their camp and ambush them right there and score a heavy wound to the bandits”
Ardell looks confused at the rest of the group and shrugs
When he is outside he hook his thumbs in his belt and straddle around breathing in the air. "A fine day to fight" he says to no one in particular.
