Swabbing the decks is tough on Arak, but he digs in and works to get the job done. This is certainly not what he went to schooling for. He would obviously be better served tending to the wounded or repairing the ship as he was trained, instead he gets manual grunt work.

Ok, so a time zone was not specified, just stated "noon" which leaves the question of "noon" where? Apparently it was not pacific or even mountain time. So you said it was not fair to the people that were already finished, but how is this fair to the people who were finishing up and finalizing their character concepts? To those who had other things to do and needed all that time? Seeming as I was in the process of writing a paper for class and had a couple of interviews this week I was looking forward to working on my character all morning today.

At least next time give a realistic definition of "noon" like maybe adding the timezone part so people at least know. I was under the impression that at least all of the Continental US had till noon, not just half of us, and even then I think you only gave it to the east coast.
