Considering how the first fight went and the fact that we've suffered as many casualties as the monsters have? I'm starting to favor making this delve non canon.

I suppose that depends. Worst case scenario, how far back would we be set if we got our 10% completion cheonicle? Will we be leveled enough to continue to the next part?

The ganzi had her chance, but it seems that it wasn't in her nature to turn tail with a friend in danger. The mud monster slams down hard, his attack impacting an invisible barrier around Araezi's body. In that moment, it shimmers and cracks, shattering like so much glass before it can absorb much of the momentum. The blow connects right on her shocked face and causes her to rotate a whole half circle before the momentum halts. The ganzi's body, already pushed close to its limit, gave way underneath the attack. The monster would find itself grasping a limp, unresponsive prey. Well, looks like all that Burn caught up with her. Thanks to the nonlethal damage, Araezi is unconscious. If it matters, her force ward regenerates 1 temporary HP per minute, so she'll be back to an effective 0 HP in 2 minutes.

Seeing her companion being covered by the monster means her options are limited. The kineticist drifts back about five feet or so, aiming blindly into the muck in the exact position that the monster was in before. kinetic blast: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 6 - 4 = 13 damage: 2d6 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 1) + 6 + 2 = 13

Adrenaline and Ganzi blood are a hell of a mix. With the state of things, Araezi doesn't even notice one of her allies leaving the group to die. Instead, she grows impatient as she waits for a complete headcount of allies to pass her by. She swims forward, peeking over the head of Ganem to see Patros floating motionless. She gives the man a touch of invigorating energy, once again sapping her own life force. kinetic healer: 2d6 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 3) + 6 + 2 = 16

Araezi wants to retreat, but she knows some of her allies might be in danger as well. The fighting is too hard to see in the distance, but she can still aid in an escape. She swims towards salvation, keeping an eye out for any panicked allies. Readied action: If a wounded ally swims past her: The ganzi winces as her body strains that much harder, weaving her friend's flesh back into position.

The ganzi briefly considers her options, and the sight of one of her teammates suddenly getting sent to a watery grave certainly tips the scales. Considering that her body has taken a beating from her own abilities, she doesn't like her odds with the monster. She backtracks at full speed, swimming through the muddy and bloody water to relative safety while hoping her allies follow suit. As for the parting shot....

Noticing her allies still in a struggle, Araezi swims a bit closer to get a point blank shot at the mud man. Aether blast: 1d20 + 6 - 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 6 - 2 + 1 + 1 = 19 damage: 2d6 + 6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5, 2) + 6 + 2 + 1 = 16

Araezi shifts to the side to try and get a better look at the figure grappling her ally. The kinetic medic decides that the best form of healing is preemptive destruction of the threat! Aether Blast: 1d20 + 6 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 1 - 2 = 6 damage: 2d6 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 1) + 6 + 2 = 12

Araezi knows that her kinetic blast would leave her open to counterattack, so she decides to follow her brilliant tactics from the last fight: running around in circles like a panicked chicken! The ganzi goes fishing for punches. But after the she reaches the halfway point of her lap, she notices one of her allies floating face-down in the water. Change of Plans! Araezi continues swimming forward, blissfully unaware of the present danger. Her allies seem to be a little more in the way than she'd prefer, so the impatient Ganzi decides to break formation and swim to the front of the line. That's when she catches a hazy glumpse of the mud monster grasping her friend! The kineticist continues her swimming to get around the enemy, moving to its backside and delivering a point-blank attack. Araezi graciously accepts the infernal healing. While that works its magic, she pulls out her scroll of ride the waves as well as a wand of cure light wounds. Gonna need some, uhm... adult supervision with these? Sometimes the wand gets angry when I try to talk to it."

Oh, wow. Lotta chatter ._. Araezi's not built for handling grapples, and she took a few I'm chalking this one up as another classic case of "it is what it is" lmao. edit: I usually play coy with my HP totals for dramatic effect, but since the data's on my PbP profile I'll say that Araezi's going to need some potent healing to get her back on her feet. Assuming I didn't biff the math, she needs at least 12 HP's worth without counting swarm damage she may take in the upcoming rounds of combat.

Round 1 Araezi's eyes widen as the blood of her ally splashes across her cheek. "Oh. Ooooh no." She reaches down, placing her hand on Methyl's shoulder. The ganzi takes a telekinetic hold of her ally's body and wills it to stop being broken, easing the bloodrager's pain but harming herself in the backlash.
Then, hoping to keep the beast occupied for a moment, she runs at it with her arms flailing, doing half a lap around it and returning to her previous position. Oh, I suppose I should have the Burn Conversation (TM) with the party. The short version is Araezi has a decent touch ranged heal of 2d6+6, but either she or her target has to take a point of Burn. When you take a point of Burn, you take nonlethal damage equal to your level that can only be removed by a night's rest. She has a cure wand to UMD for the out of combat stuff, but she's willing to take burn herself when combat healing. Of course if she's a little beat up while trying to do her job, I'd suggest just a little cauterization. No pain no gain, am I right? (also, got my profile pic and stats up on the google slide)

The gray skinned ganzi smiles and unhooks a thieves' kit from her belt. "Oh right, names. I'm Araezi Pyrket. That's Ah, Ray, Zee, Pyre, Kit. Or however you want to say it. I'm a fix-it specialist." She opens the bag and holds it in one hand, then gestures with the other. Individual tools for tinkering and disabling traps levitate from the bag, rotate and bob through the air, then return neatly into their place. "I fix things, I unfix things. I also know how to mend people, and I also know how to unmend people."

Adventure prepurchases:
Question for the GM! How would the underwater rules affect uses of telekinetic blast, assuming I'm using piercing ammunition such as crossbow bolts or ink pens? Absolute no-sale like throwing weapons, or the standard -2 per 5 feet? (A shame my merfolk boon character is too high level for this. It would have been pretty fun!)

Araezi chuckles and shakes her head. "You say that like time isn't already here. Besides, time is more like a river, and we're being swept downstream. And some of us swim faster, like a fish. A time fish and..." She purses her lips. "Alright, so the metaphor is starting to break down. Like we do! So I'd say entropy and change are just as inevitable. Heck, I can't help but wonder what that fort would look like if I took it apart and..." She claps her hands together. "Right! Fish! Time fish! That reminds me, do we all have means of breathing under water? That sounds like an important thing to deal with, so we should have potions or special equipment or at least some reeeaaaally long straws."
Funny that, I've got a character who was in PFS Emerald Spire and it puttered out just after Godhome. I've gotta double check my paperwork and get a PbP profile for the character, but I'd like to reserve a spot while I work on that. 1) Player name: Rosc
