In Vaeri’s eyes, Anyka can see both excitement and trepidation, a newness and anticipation that gave her a thrill of excitement herself, and an overwhelming desire to make this a memorable experience. While not quite an expert, the rogue had definitely had a few encounters with women, enjoying each as seeing Vaeri bite her lip slightly as she lifts the bottom of her nightshirt, made her want…no need to show her just how wonderful the experience could be.
Stepping closer, Anyka brings her hand up to tenderly caress Vaeri’s cheek, before moving in to kiss her again, a slow, deep, passionate kiss as she presses up against her, her hands loosening the simple ponytail in which she’d bound her hair, letting her hair fall free, and sensuously running her fingers though it. Feeling Vaeri’s body respond, the need to be touched awakened in her, she finally breaks the kiss, stepping back ever so slightly, breathless, letting out a soft purring sound of enjoyment as she slides her hands up under the hem of her nightshirt, her warm hands lightly gliding up the elf’s slim frame, caressing her skin as she runs her nimble fingertips up her sides, following the lines of her body, to only just briefly glide over the gentle curves of her breasts, before running her fingers back down her stomach.
Looking into her eyes, she gives her signature lopsided smile, she takes hold of the garment, smoothly drawing it over her head and tossing it aside. The rogue pauses for a moment letting her eyes roam the newly exposed flesh, drinking in the sight of her and making it quite clear how much she enjoys the view.
”You’re a beautiful woman Vaeri.” she whispers softly, taking her hand, and kissing the back of it, planting gentle kisses up her arm, and running he other hand along her belly as she trails light kisses along her shoulder and up her neck, moving behind her to nibble on her ear. ”And I can’t wait to see all of you.”
Sliding her hands up the front of Vaeri’s body, slowly enough that she can feel the shiver of arousal passing through her, Anyka caresses her firm breasts, her fingers sensually teasing her nipples to hardness as she kisses the other side of her neck, her body pressed up against the elf, her own nipples hard with arousal pressed against her lover’s back. Letting her hands slide back down, she smiles at the groan of protest from Vaeri, kissing down her back in consolation, she she brings her hands down to the waistband of her panties, slipping her thumbs into the soft fabric and slowly drawing them down, her hair brushing against Vaeri’s back and along the curve of her buttocks as she lowers the undergarment to the ground.
Stepping around her, she stands before her, once more letting an appreciative gaze roam her body, before extending her hand. "Your bed, or mine?"
Anyka smiles, as she slowly runs a finger along Vaeri's cheek, trailing to her lips. Seeing the eagerness and attempt at restraint in her eyes is both exciting and arousing to the rogue.
Still holding the elf's gaze, she moves across the room to lock the door before turning around and beginning to unbutton her shirt. "Good, because tonight, I'm all yours."
Without rushing, but not wasting any time either, she undresses, enjoying the look in Vaeri’s eyes as they roam her svelte frame, unashamed of the little scars and marks that were part of the story of her life. As she steps out of her panties, she moves back to the bed. ”Would you like me to help you get undressed, Vaeri?”
The intimacy of the whisper, the warmth of Vaeri's presence, and the need in her voice send a pleasant shiver down Anyka's spine, at the same time triggering a flood of compassion.
Wordlessly, the rogue turns her head, bringing her lips to meet Vaeri's in a soft kiss, that begins slowly, sensuously building with passion and intensity as she runs her fingers through her silky hair.
"You very much are Vaeri, for tonight, I want you to forget everything else." Anyka whispers after finally breaking off the kiss, caressing her cheek as she gazes into her eyes.
Still holding Vaeri's hand, Anyka studies Vaeri's face for a moment, reading her body language, at the same time considering quite a few things. "Is there anything I can do...to help you feel more safe Vaeri?"
Anyka smile at Vaeri's expression of being drawn to art. "You'll never know if you'd be any good at it until you try."
Looking up she once again meets Vaeri's eyes, seeing the loneliness there. "I'm happy to, Vaeri. And I promise we'll talk more when I get back, okay?" she says squeezing Vaeri's hand gently.
"Okay, if there's anything else you can think of that maybe you'd want to consider as an option, let me know as soon as we get back and I'll be there to help you get through it okay." Anyka says sincerely. "Is there anything you need, while we're gone, anything I can do to help make it easier?"
Vaeri looks into Anyka's eyes for a moment that seems to last just a little too long. "I won't have to hurt anyone, will I?"
Anyka blinks for a moment, finding her mouth suddenly and surprisingly dry. Looking at Vaeri, she remembers the condition they'd first found her in, how badly she'd suffered, how much she'd lost and the tale of the horrible things she'd been led to do. She deserved a chance to be at peace with herself, and escape violence and death if it was at all possible.
"I mean there's always a possibility that you might have to restrain or arrest someone being unruly, but I think there are already some of the other more senior Watch members that patrol the rougher areas. I'm sure there are areas where most of your work would be helping people find their way, assignments like meeting newcomers at the dock, and directing them where they need to go. We can definitely make sure there's something with very little chance of violence occurring." Anyka says comfortingly.
"Maybe something like joining the watch, something that will give you structure, with a defined role will help until you're comfortable enough to get a feel for what you'd like to do." Anyka suggests after some though. "It might keep you busy enough to not be alone with your thoughts for too long."
Vaeri sets down her journal to look at Anyka. "I'm scared. I'm scared because I don't know what to do now. I mean..."
She pauses as if trying to corral her errant thoughts. "All my life I've been told what to do with a small degree of freedom. I don't have anyone telling me what to do now, so I don't know what to do or how to do it. I don't even know what I want."
Anyka sits on the bed, thinking for a moment. "Do you think it would help to have a steady structure, something specific to do with most of your day until you figure out what you'd like to be doing when you have time to yourself?"
Anyka grins with amusement at Chris' reaction, chuckling softly before turning back to her sister. "Of course I would, there's nowhere else I would ever be than by your side."
"Not to us, but apparently some people were tripling up on doses to end unwanted pregnancies, and that;s when there were problems, took too much too often." Anyka says with a shrug. "I guess it's one of those things... like alcohol, the right amount is a good time, too much is poison." she says with a shrug.
"He actually had something better. Apparently night tea’s been illegal for over a century here….as crazy as that sounds. Instead he brewed a concoction we’d only have to take once a month to have the same effect, and apparently less dangerous.” Anyka says reaching into her belt pouch and handing her sister one of the vials.
Having had a wonderful time, dining, flirting and otherwise enjoying Ryota’s company, Anyka takes the doses, listening to the handsome apothecary’s instruction. "Thanks, for everything. We may be headed out of town for a day or two in a bit but I’ll definitely swing by when we get back….I think I’d like to…continue this.”
"Wow...I guess that makes a lot of sense. Safer is always better...well, unless you're actually trying to poison someone." Anyka says with a chuckle. "Sorry, my sense of humor is a little dark. That would work! How much will it be?"
"Well that's a surprise....wait did you say poison? Then I guess that's definitely a good thing." Anyka says, shaking her head as she adjusts. " I'll need to get for my sister as well...so would that be four hours or can you make multiple batches at once?" she asks.
Bundling up for the cold, Anyka makes her way to Ryota's shop to make her purchases. Despite her head being filled with her recent thoughts and concerns, she can't help smiling as she approaches the handsome apothecary's shop.
"Yeah...I'm...I'm okay, it just caught me offguard" Anyka says, leaning against Gashka. She smiles a bit through glistening eyes. "Yeah, that smells really good."
Anyka is silent for a moment, the stinging poignance of Gashka's words catching her completely offguard. "....it's...it's okay....I know what you meant." she manages after a moment.
"Yeah, I can see it." Anyka says with a smile as she gets into bed, drawing covers over herself. "Good night sis, just think, tomorrow night you'll be settling together."
Giggling Anyka reaches out quickly to grab Gashka's hand, helping her catch her balance. "Yep, you've definitely got it about as bad as I've ever seen."
She shakes her head, grinning as they head upstairs.
"We're here to help and do as much good as possible right? So I'm all for helping her get home." Anyka answers, "I can't even begin to imagine what going through all of this would be like all on my own."
