"I might be able to climb that tree over there and see if I can figure out where we are." Antal makes his way over to a tree that might fit the bill for what he has planed. And Antal start to shimmy up the tall trunk, using branches as foot and hand holds. Athletics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14 if he gets to the top and can look around

Not looking a gift horse in the mouth where the old crone could have let him be an ant snack. Antal drinks the cup of tea and nibbles on the scone. "It sounds like a trap. No matter which you try and save.....hay what do you mean all you have is a piglet?" Felling better after the drink and snack, but wondering if he is about to be dropped into the fire.

Antal tries to side step the ants mandibles but trips on an exposed root. Just as the grabs hold of him. Acrobatics to escape: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 Antal starts to spin sideways hopping his small size and flexability can slip out of the ants grasp.

Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Shocked at the size of the creature. Antal's first thought is not of a threat but as a new riding mount. He starts to day dream of having such a steed, and snaps out of it with Kalia's battle cry. Drawing back on his bow and sighting down his arrow. Antal lets the arrow fly. ShortBow attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 Per. Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Next level he needs to become a fighter w/ archery to gain the +2 to hit.

Antal gets a days worth of rations and a candle. He takes a few steps forward and places the items on the ground, then steps back. If needed

As the hours go by Antal's wounds heal some what.
Thinking that the boat owner might be in a bad mood. Antal goes shopping for a gallon of ale (2sp). And not knowing how many nights they might be in the wilds He looks to purchase a hooded lantern (5gp), and 6 flasks of oil (6sp). He checks over his tools of the trade, and thinks he has everything that is needed, but perhaps a grappling hook (2gp) could come into use. So he look to get one of those as well. So Antal goes shopping and tries to spend 7gp and 8sp.

As everyone starts to move away. Antal glances at the boots checking for size, to replace his trail worn pair. But seeing that it came from someone much taller than him "Bhaa, tall folk. He mumbles to himself. And becomes content with just figuring out what price he can get for them.

I knew that I should have done that with a slight of hand roll. oh well I had to earn that extra HP somehow. ;o) Seeing others turning into a savage loot fest. Antal jump up on a wooden box with the word soap on it and yells out.
Now I know that I should have rolled for slight of hand, darn it.

Thinking of why the raid, Antal offers up. "Perhaps they were looking for a someone, but did not know who that someone is. So they went after anyone they thought could be the person. You know everyone of the same age, or only had blond hair, or even went to the same church? Maybe we should see if any of the ones that were taken where a match of another one that was taken?" Remembering that when you raid a jewelry store you don't waste time picking out just the high priced items, you just grab it all and sort it out later.

"What the heck, this town is being over run with undead!" Taking a quick peek to make sure nothing is trying to sneak up on them. He fires an arrow at the one Varis is fighting. Short Bow Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Antal nocks another arrow and lets it fly into the same hobgoblin. Short Bow Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Being still very wounded Antal stays away from all melee combat, keeping his companions between him and the attackers.

Int save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Being part of a gang member of Waterdeep turned Bounty Hunter, And seeing people in distress and loss of hope is not unknown to Antal. And his experience of back then has hardened him for what is around. Slowing Antal moves up, trying to get close enough to make his Arrow count. Short Bow Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
