Or am I?
This might make me very sad indeed.
Nope not the only one.
Haleen has joined the adventure.
What's free time. Kids, work, campaigns . . . Who's giving me free time? And why? I would love free time. *daydreams of having free time*
Anyways I'll probably focus my attentions towards the next round so I'm prepared.
Jank will likely make a return in our campaign.
How I wish I had the funds to make it this year. Well at least I'm closer than I ever have been.

Undrella has been added to the NPC roster.
Undrella
I made her a non-standard harpy because she's probably going to be a reoccurring npc in the campaign.
This is the first post recording the first adventure that I'm playing with my son.
Interesting. Definitely fills the need. I'll keep it in mind. Iron Man is going to be the last avenger I tackle.
The Hulk is done. Brues Nabren and The Brute are forces to be reckoned with.
Part 8 is up. Where the group reconsidered brash actions.

I've sorry for the delay of postings been having some glitches with the site I use hopefully they've work out the kinks. I've been breaking these into three posts just because I don't want them to be a tremendous wall of text. Do you guys believe I should make them into just one post? And would you like to see plot hooks? Let me know.
Took a bit. Apparently I've got a glitch that wasn't posting my posts live on occasion. So without further ado the last two sessions with stats for a giant mamba!
I hope I'm not the only one who says that and thinks of Megamind at his final cape.
Going to start in on the Avengers next from the movie. Any suggestions on who I start with?
Fall hiccups hoping to be posting on this again at the end of this week.
Loggan is done.
Sorry about the delay some medical stuff slid in that really rattled up my schedule.

Superman
No thunder taken. I'll probably be focusing on Marvel characters.

This if for the wild stalker

Got 8 things here replacing 4 things. At different times. This quote is directly from the PRD.
Brain in a Jar wrote: They don't replace the same ones. You pick at 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Favored Enemy which ability you want to replace it with.
So 2nd could be a Rage Power and the rest could be Wild Talents.
These are listed as two seperate abilities at 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th a wild stalker gets a rage power.
AND
At 6th, 11th, 15th, and 19th he gets a Wild Talent which is either a rage power OR a insight bonus on skills.
That's 8 class features replacing only 4 favoured enemy slots.

Bueller?
I didn't think two seperate abilities could replace the same one.
Yep. And originally wolverine's claws weren't retractable and the creators were first thinking of just making them a part of his gloves.
Thanael wrote: Nice so far. So Loggan's a dwarf. Like the backstory, don't like the gauntlets. Internal claws define wolverine for me.
Also about the archetype loosing fav enemy, you yourself wanted to make him a brb. He's a rager with wild senses and skills.
They are internal claws after he's cursed. They were just guantlets before.
As for the ranger archetype my problem is that I have two abilities that are apparently replacing the same existing ability at different times.
They get Rage Powers at 5th and every five levels thereafter replacing his favoured enemy stuff. Then at 6th level he get Wild Talents that are similar with an extra option and every five levels thereafter. These also replace Favoured enemy.
Part 2 can be found here..
Tell me what you think.

I'm thinking maybe these abilities aren't right. This is directly from the PRd.

Thanael wrote: Quote: For his time in the wild normally I would lean for some levels in ranger, but Wolverine is known for his berserker rages and feral nature so barbarian it is for the wild-man.
We don't need to over complicate things though, barbarian/rogue/samurai?
Check out the Wild Stalker Ranger archetype, it's Ranger + Rage + Wild Senses.
Also the Invulnerabe Rager Barbarian archetype is a perfect fit.
Rogue is not needed, as his skills are covered by Ranger and or Barbarian.
I like the Wild Stalker its suitable for Wolverine. My problem being though that the archetype has a couple of problems in the bold text.
"Rage Powers: At 5th level, a wild stalker ranger gains a single rage power, as the barbarian class feature. He gains another rage power each five levels after 5th (to a maximum of four rage powers at 20th level). This ability replaces the ranger's second, third, fourth, and fifth favored enemy abilities.

Made him up as an altered tiefling...is whatcha think?
Feel free to read the adventure logs...they are written in book type story format.
If nothing else I love the pictures. I'll have to read it over thoroughly tomorrow.
Thanael wrote: Oh and i hope you really transport him to Golarion, and not only build Marvel Wolverine in PFRPG.
So no 100% detailed build for the MArvel character, but a fantasy version of him that is really grounded in Golarion would be nice. Similar to Marvels 1692 or some Steampunk reimaginations of superheroes.
That is my intent. Look for my ideas for placing him on Golarion tomorrow.
I've started a post regular post here.
My first post is Wolverine.
Azaelas Fayth wrote: For 50 campaigns and 251 NPCs I have searched for an official guideline. I haven't found one anywhere. If you find one I will much appreciate it.
That being said: Your guideline seems along the right track.
Here is what I use, based on an old 3.5 guide:
Special Attacks: Damage or Harm the enemy in some way.
Special Defenses: Prevent them from being harmed in some way.
Special Qualities: Whatever doesn't fit in the other 2.
Hope this helps...
That makes sense. And I just found an example of what I was looking for last night that supports your assumptions.
Whenever I build an NPC stat block I always come across some ability that I have an internal debate as to where to list one of their class abilities. Particularly whether its or not its a Special Attack or Special Quality.
My first step for finding an answer is to first check products that have NPCs and look for ones of the same class to find out where it normally gets listed.
If that fails I've turned to a standard guideline that Special Attacks are use activated and Special Qualities are static bonuses or modifying abilities.
Is there an official guideline to use?
And he is now done.
Oxnard, last of the Lions.
Its funny when doing up NPCs with class levels I always find some ability that I have difficulty deciding where it should be listed on a stat block. Particularly when it comes to whether a class ability should be considered a special attack. Like Agile Feet for Oxnard. I've decided that if its got a limited use that it belongs in SA and if its constant it goes in SQ.
Anyone else have thoughts on it?
Part 5 of the campaign is now up.
There are things to come including Oxnard.
An update can be found here on things to come.
Statted up the supposed to be dead Andrus, leader of the Lions of Senara. My group ended up saving him from his torturous end.
The leader of the Lions of Senara, Andrus.
Part 4 of the campaign can be found here. Also you will find an update to Halruun at the end of the post.
