And would you like to see plot hooks? Let me know.
Took a bit. Apparently I've got a glitch that wasn't posting my posts live on occasion. So without further ado the last two sessions with stats for a giant mamba! I hope I'm not the only one who says that and thinks of Megamind at his final cape.

These are listed as two seperate abilities at 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th a wild stalker gets a rage power. AND At 6th, 11th, 15th, and 19th he gets a Wild Talent which is either a rage power OR a insight bonus on skills. That's 8 class features replacing only 4 favoured enemy slots.

They are internal claws after he's cursed. They were just guantlets before. As for the ranger archetype my problem is that I have two abilities that are apparently replacing the same existing ability at different times. They get Rage Powers at 5th and every five levels thereafter replacing his favoured enemy stuff. Then at 6th level he get Wild Talents that are similar with an extra option and every five levels thereafter. These also replace Favoured enemy.

I'm thinking maybe these abilities aren't right. This is directly from the PRd.

I like the Wild Stalker its suitable for Wolverine. My problem being though that the archetype has a couple of problems in the bold text. "Rage Powers: At 5th level, a wild stalker ranger gains a single rage power, as the barbarian class feature. He gains another rage power each five levels after 5th (to a maximum of four rage powers at 20th level). This ability replaces the ranger's second, third, fourth, and fifth favored enemy abilities. Wild Talents (Ex): At 6th level, a wild stalker can either take a rage power, or gains a +2 insight bonus into any one of the following skills: Acrobatics, Climb, Perception, Stealth, Survival, or Swim. The wild stalker can gain one of these two benefits again every five levels after 6th (to a maximum of 4 times at 20th level). This ability replaces the ranger's second, third, fourth, and fifth favored enemy abilities."

That makes sense. And I just found an example of what I was looking for last night that supports your assumptions.
Whenever I build an NPC stat block I always come across some ability that I have an internal debate as to where to list one of their class abilities. Particularly whether its or not its a Special Attack or Special Quality. My first step for finding an answer is to first check products that have NPCs and look for ones of the same class to find out where it normally gets listed. If that fails I've turned to a standard guideline that Special Attacks are use activated and Special Qualities are static bonuses or modifying abilities. Is there an official guideline to use?
And he is now done. Oxnard, last of the Lions. Its funny when doing up NPCs with class levels I always find some ability that I have difficulty deciding where it should be listed on a stat block. Particularly when it comes to whether a class ability should be considered a special attack. Like Agile Feet for Oxnard. I've decided that if its got a limited use that it belongs in SA and if its constant it goes in SQ. Anyone else have thoughts on it?

This PbP Gameday XII session is dedicated to the memory of Silbeg, a good friend and a great GM/player. He is profoundly missed by those of us who knew him.

Welcome to my Play-by-Post! I'm Thunderspirit, and I've been running games since the early 1980s. (Yes, I'm old, and yes, I've seen a lot of editions.) I started playing PFS back in Season 0, but didn't really "get into it" until the end of Season 3. I'm a Venture-Lieutenant in Chicago. If you're ever in the area, or you need help finding games/conventions there, PM or email me, and I'll endeavor to set something up if I can. :-) Expectations for my play-by-post games:
2) Try to post at least once daily. (If you're going to be gone for 24+ hours, try to give a heads up before you go. But that said: remember #1.) 3) Saving throws first. If you have a saving throw to make, have it be the first dice of the post, before you roll anything else. Also,
4) Animal companions, eidolons, phantoms, etc. For play-by-post, I have them go on the same initiative as their PC. (This is slightly different than what I do in face-to-face games.) When you post, play your PC first, then the pet. 5) Know your obscure rules. Most people know how the basics work, but if you have a character who uses something less than common, please know how it works (Handle Animal, Sunder, Grapple, etc.). Please post in this thread with this format.
I do ask that the header for your PC have saves, initiative, and Perception modifier in them. (If you're not sure how, just ask and we'll lend a hand.) That about covers it. Looking forward to the game!

You are making your way through the crowded streets of Absalom on a mundane mission, the sort that is usually issued to Pathfinder Society neophytes. But you all were hanging about the Grand Lodge on a warm midsummer morning; and if there's one thing Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin hates, it's idle Pathfinders. He promptly sent you off to The Coins with, essentially, a grocery list for the evening repast. This isn't the sort of thing you expect to do at your experience level, and you made no bones about it. But Valsin simply waved his hand and sent you on your way, and that was the end of that discussion. Among the throngs on the midday streets of Absalom, a gnarled beggar passes by. A copper for th' poor, good folk. A copper for th' poor! Here but for th' grace o' th' gods go ye! His grimy fist deftly slips a crinkled piece of paper into Bishop's palm before vanishing back into the swarm of longshoreman, merchants, stevedores, and other pedestrians. Kn (local) DC 10:
The Saucy Wench is one of the few permanent structures in the Grand Bazaar in the Coins District of Absalom. It is a four-story mead hall of ill repute. Kn (local) DC 15: The Saucy Wench is also one of Osprey's favorite places to disseminate secretive orders from the Society to its member Pathfinders.

...but not on the event creation part of the site. It's not an end-of-the-world deal-breaker, obviously; but I know they've worked there in the past cos I've used them, even though none of my events have them in it now. Just curious whether that was an unintended bug or an intended feature for that part.

Welcome! All things being equal, I'd prefer to run this at 1-2 or 3-4, for the sake of continuity if someone wants to play all the scenarios sequentially. But it's open to 1-7, so if we wind up playing 6-7, so be it. This game is part of the Official Pathfinder Society PbP Game Day. For more information please visit: http://PbPGameday.com
