"I shouldn't need too much it is just a vest harness. Would you help me with my measurements?" Ruby pulls a long striped ribbon from her sleeve. anna nods. "Of course. What design do you have in mind? Plenty of ways to do armor."

Ruby takes off her armored coat setting it on the table."I have come to realize that while good for a courier this coat does not do for a warrior." Ruby grabs some paper and some ink, starting a sketch. " I am trying g to make some sort of light armor vest. With some straps here...And here to hold my scythe and another strap here for another sheathe." "ah, very interesting.ill do my best to help."
Ruby gives Anna a small smile "A quiet place to work and good company rarely are seen together." "I'm flattered thst you think I'm good company. So, what do you want to make today?" Anna smiles as gently as she can, with those fangs.
"oh? You're back again?"
"Let's see how well this cloak works." Ruby takes a moment and thinks of the barracks. "Poit!" nothing happens. Anna injecterjects after a moment. "It's most likely already been used today."
Ruby cries out as she feels the amulet on her skin quickly taking it off. "Well that did not go as planned." She pulls some cloth from her sleeve and wraps the amulet sliding it into her bosom. "I'll need to have Morrigan take a look at this. Can't sell a burning necklace" "Good idea. I'm not really a qualified Mage, after all."
"More spesifically, it can be used once a day."
Anna pauses, a while, taking out glasses and putting them on, looking over the gear for a while.
Ruby clears off a small space on the table setting the wrapped amulet down."An amulet of unknown properties, and" she pulls out the cloak " this." "I can try and have a look. Context is nice, though. Where did you get them? Might help narrow down options."
"Fair enough, you know it far better than I." Ruby sits across from Anna, helping her work. "The man behind this nuisance has left a few items, i was wondering if you couldn't tell me something about them." "I can at least try. What have you got?"
"I have. I just know this town can handle it."
Anna is busy, as always, when ruby opens to door, sewing away.
"Sure, here."
Anna's face turns red.
"well then, now that your buisness with her is done, perhaps we should get to business of our own, nyah" she says as she slowly walks up to the shop owner with a wide grin on her face. ".... Uhm." Anna fidgets."I've got a large commison pile..."
Anna gladly shakes morrigan's hand.
"I haven't the slightest clue what the first bit means, but the second is defiantly good enough. Settled, then?"
Morrigan looks at Jo'Vassa, "My dear, it is called haggling. Quite normal in many places." turning back with a smile, "I did not intend to sound angry, for that I apologize. As for spider silk, it is neither difficult nor costly for you to obtain, thus my offer. Also, I'm offering you some freedom for artistic expression. I can up my offer to 30 local currency and give you a nice discount on any spellcards or other such devices I make as well." "... You know..." Anna smiles."Skip the money. You make something I'd want... Assuming you shed. If you do shed, I'd like the rights to your current set of scales, once you're not using them. In exchange, you'll get your band. I'll even magically sew some gear into it as patches, if you end up needing it." she pauses, a moment. "Buuut.... if you don't shed, I've got a diffrent idea. I occasionally make magic cloth, and I could use some help from time to time when I'm making it. So, perhaps we could trade time for time? My time making it, for your time helping me with making magic items. Perhaps three castings of various spells? Any compoenents will be paid for by me, including scrolls, should you not know the spell."
Anna sighs.
Anna chuckles.
"Alright, I'll take the commission. It'll run you roughly a hundred gold peices, that I'm sure people will pay out for your help with the Primal beast."
"No, it makes sense. No need to use extra magic when it can be avoided. Magic does take a lot of time, after all."
"scrap silk is free, for helping with the primal. No clue what a spellcard is, but if it's anything like tarot, why not just make a deck hokder?"
Morrigan heads to a place she heard deals in silk, [wherever Anna is], and so she notices that Ruby girl rush out and off somewhere. Morrigan catches the door just before it finishes closing, and poking her head in, "I heard I can get silk here. Is that correct?" Anna blinks a few times. "... Yes, that's correct. Spider silk."
Ruby stops suddenly. Then runs back inside and gives Anna a quick hug before running back out. It took her no more than a second. Anna blinks a few times, and smiles. "Thanks."
"I'll be sure to remember that." Ruby notices that sun has risen high in the sky. " Shoot, I have to help with the hunt I'll see you tomorrow Anna. Goodbye" and Ruby rushes out the door headed for the town walls. "I... Alright. Have a good day."
"Doubt it will. Even if it wanted to, it has no organs... But I think adding more primal beast parts to it might make it self aware. Makign for a potent magic item, but... Well, it would en a partner, then. Not an item."
"Tested a few things. hard to say for sure, but at the very least, it's far more risiliant to the elements."
Ruby gives Anna's hand a squeeze and whispers barely audible " thank you" and takes a few deep breathes calming herself."No that's alright... Let's just finish this coat, I'm sure that man will be expecting it soon." "I've got two more days to finish it. I always give my customers a vastly larger estimate then I truly need. So no rush."
Ruby fidgets unfortunately with the fabric in her hands." To be honest I'm not sure how I feel about. I've fought many were-people and they were always so savage. You are obviously nothing like that. I just...can't get that image out of head.the wolf. That woman... Oh god! The screams!" Ruby begins shuddering on the verge of tears. Anna huge ruby, nuzzling gently. She's a bit animalistic like that, but not exactly in a bad way. More like a dog cuddling up to somone sad. "Hay, it's ok. My kind is nothing like the wolves. Every lycanthrope has a diffrent affinity. Wolves are... Savage. Brutal. They truly are horrors, like you say."Anna shudders, but manages to resist her temptations, for the time being. "But spiders aren't like that at all, I promise. I can even shift into animal form and show you, if you really want."

Some rich man from the market. Spider silk replies water well, so I suppose he did make a wise choice. Pity you can't spin." Anna sighs."... Would you hate me if I did end up biting you? Because... "I know it is dangerous but...but.. You're one of the first people I could ever really call a friend." Ruby blushes shocked at her own admission. "Really? You... Get attached easy." Anna gestures for ruby to start working on the coat, stepping back.
"I would love to help... Are you feeling peckish again? I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable." "... I have warned you numerous times, you know...and you keep coming back."
Ruby walk up to Anna a nd looks over her shoulder at the project in her hands. "What are you working on? Is there anyway I can help?" "It's a raincoat for a customer from the market. You could... Try and help, if you like. You're learning quite well." Anna is seemingly taking pains not to look ruby in the eye, seeming distracted.
Anna is pouring over her latest work, mumbling a hello.
"What? No... No. I was just... Thinking. Getting tempted."
Anna pauses, a moment, as a thought passes. Then she shakes her head, and resumes her work.
"so I have been told. What is the first step? If I am not being too eager." "To making cloth? Well... I'll start by teaching you a few stitches."
"I will be careful then" she chuckles. "You really are an odd one."
"... If you're really determined to do this... I will warn you, right now. I'm a were-spider, as the limbs and fangs might give away. If you... Prove that you can be as skilled as me, I will not hesitate to make you one as well. I'm not exactly the safest person to learn from."

"Hay, wait! If I'm going to work the cloth, you don't need a Mage. That's only if you wanted a simple, guarenteed enchantment. If you want a chance at something greater, I need the raw stuff.
