Ahh, but clerics don't turn or rebuke undead anymore do they? They channel positive or negative energy to damage/heal.


The 3.x monk is certainly powerful enough. My complaint is that every time I make a monk he looks pretty much the same as all the previous ones. Except for 1st, 2nd, and 6th levels all monks get exactly the same class features. Some ideas for a new monk class were posted here.


This is a type of monk class I had once envisioned but never finished. Good job! One suggestion I have though is regarding Fast Movement. Instead of getting bonuses every 3 class levels let the player take the feat multiple times with the effect stacking. That way only the monk truly dedicated to speed is going to ever break the 1 minute mile. Also, have you considered the possibility of allowing the human 1st level feat to be used for choosing a monk talent that he meets the requirements for? Just a thought 'cause I really do feel humans always got the short stick. Thanks for all the hard work you've obviously put into this.

Oh, one last question. Is the bonus from Stamina retroactive like Improved Toughness or does it start at the level taken?


I've preferred the psionics system over magic system in 3.5 from the very beginning. Can't say the same for the earlier 3.0 psionics *shudder*. Frankly, I would be happy to see the current spell slots replaced with the power point system. Most of the psionic powers duplicate spells anyway.
