"No, no my little hot friend. I merely took an opportunity to share a parable with the young one, and shared a celestial blessing. You will always be the medic I run to. Besides, your face was looking a little pale after the encounter with the two lemures. I thought it best you gathered your stomach before venturing forth. Can you imagine? In one day we have seen and overcome a drake and a pair of devils. These are some harrowing times, are they not?"

Amris moves over to the table to examine the keys and table. He spends some time trying to see if he can find a discernable pattern or shapes. He also takes time to search around and under the table for an clues. He tries to pull on his knowledge of Arcana, Dungeoneering, History, and the Planes. He hands the keys off to Adrianna to investigate. "Hmmmm...yes...interesting... check the doors, we may need to secure ourselves." Knowledge: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 +1 for Planes
Maybe he is not a knowledgeable as he thought he is.

Amris moves to the Eastern door, checking for traps and then getting to work on picking the lock. He will wait for the party to gather and decide on the best course of action before opening the door. Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
"You certainly are proud of your prices. Now, why we pretend we have haggled for a good long while, and you give me the price for someone you hope to have a longer term relationship with? With prices that high, I might get scared off and have to look for other strategic partnerships elsewhere. I would have two of the fine rooms. Unless anyone objects?" Diplomacy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
"I am a simple trader looking to setup new routes to and from Razmiran. I am looking for well to do investors as well as way stations to keep my caravans rested and fed. This certainly smells like the right establishment. Would you mind showing me around and helping me to understand the establishment, in an efforts to help me decide if this is the "right" establishment for my business?" Luck on Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
"Indeed. We will need to find if this will be a good way station to manage our horses and caravan should this visit prove to be profitable. Maybe the friendly one over there can provide insight? Hmmmmm.... Now Adrianna, I cannot have you buying another pony just because it looks fetching. Let's do try and mind our manners as well... A nice hot bath will be in order though." "Daeris stalks like a wolf. Best not to get trapped in those jaws should she get to biting." Amris muses to himself. Amris tries to ham it up by almost strutting like a peacock. "The Pathfinder's never promised me a place on a stage. I had really prefered to digging around in crypts, but the path leads us in many directions. One must find his way regardless of the landscape." Amris ponders.
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
"Steady child. Just as soon as we settle in you will be looking to the horizon to your next adventure. There are people to be met and profit gained." Amris chuckles to himself and adds "But indeed a hot bath and soft bed heals the weary from the journey. A nice rarebit would indeed be welcome." Amris casually scans the area try to get a lay of the land and an idea of the exterior of this building. We as likely will have to breakout of this place as break in to accomplish our mission. Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 Bah! This dice curse me...lol

"This is surely a concern for the Decemvirate to decide as both are very lucrative and strategically important ventures. I respect both of your offers and hope that we all can come to a mutal beneficial agreement." Luck active Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18 Crappy dice

With no weapons in his hands when the fearsome beast bursts forth from the river, Amris summons forth ancient incantations of sleep to put down the dragonlike beast. Amris cast sleep Saving throw DC 14 vs. Will

Amris looks over to the elf and chuckles softly. "Remind me fair maiden, not to over extend my welcome with you. I agree with the lady. We will need to be subtle in or approach. I usually like to cover my movement with a cover story laden with truth. Hence, why I tried to lead off with the story of being a merchant in search of new opportunities. I am actually a caravan owner to supplement my archaeological curiosities. Antiquities pay well, but linens pay regular. I am not sure that embellishing about any connection to the church was a wise gamble on my part however. I am open to other opportunities. We all have a role to play, even if it is just to roleplay."
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
Amris takes out his sap and tries to disable the wolf rather than kill it. "I think Daeris cares more for the canine then she does her own life. If only I could talk to animals, they might be more reasonable than the likes of men." Sap: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Possible Critical Critical: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 Down there Mister Bitey!

"Well to do, but not foolish. I would hate for you to make an untoward step that would jeopardize your standing with the priesthood. I know they would be far harsher than I tongue would ever be. Perhaps we can conclude our business, in the name of international trade, with just our handshake." Amris spreads his open hands wide to indicate a sense of openness and well meaning. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
"By all means... We appreciate your discretion in this matter. It is good to find such hospitable constabulary in these parts. Would you know of well intentioned guardians, such as yourselves that might be interested in some side work should our caravans need additional expediting in the future? Timeliness of delivery can make all the difference in the world. Should our meetings be fruitful, these platinum sphinx would have friends, and I would always want to give back to the men and women who give so much to protect us." Amris hands over the two platinum pieces with a smil and a firm handshake.
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
Are there only nine of us? I was thinking 11, but one would be recognizable. If there both are out of sight due to high profile, that is fine. I just want to account for where everyone is in my mind. "We have one that has not taken well to the movement of the waters. I have no problem paying for his person, but would prefer not to antagonize his suffering. An extra platinum sphinx for his troubles would not be an insult to you, would it? Just for Amris' personal information, what does he recall from his history studies on Razmir? Knowledge: History: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
Amris quickly moves forward to the enforcers and acknowledges them. "Finally the local constabulary! We advisors from the Moonstone Trading Company looking to bring the finest linens and cloth to Razmiran and hope to exchange good unique to your region. The Priesthood of Razmiran is our intended client, but we like to keep an open mind to all manner of clientele. Please excuse my entourage. My personal guard is a well regarded huntress in her home lands and is always spoiling to expand her expertise. We have, I believe, ten in our party and are looking to expedite our payment of the requisite fees and tariffs, so that we may quickly conclude our business and begin increasing the wealth of our future patrons. A rich patron, is a happy patron." Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 Bluff: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 Amris is not entirely lying. He would genuinely like to expand his liens caravan to new, exotic locales. Could he use Diplomacy in that case? Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
Amris listens to the conversation and considers Daeris' suggestion. "I think a simple ruse might be best. Is your crew predominantly dwarven, or might we blend in with the crew? The boat doesn't sound large enough to hide upon, but if we can talk our way through, maybe we can arrive at our destination without injury before we encounter the Razmiri priests." Amris keeps his backside pointed away from Daeris and her motivating arrows. It is decidedly harder to tap dance when one is perforated.
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
Amris quickly enters the room, obviously distracted. "My apologies, I was held up with a matter concerning my caravan leaving the city. I assure you my distractions are behind me" Amris attempts to gauge the situation as best as he can with his limited exposure, and settles in to the matter at hand. Sorry guys for the delay. I have been out on a rig site since last week.

Rapier: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 But instead is totally distracted by the fine supple leather than is used on his boots. "Those really appear to be high quality boots. May I have the name of your leatherworker?"

"Heaven's fury knows no bounds against a man of ill repute. I will rain hellfire and damnation down on your soul and leave your wrecked body so that even the lemure's will shy away from your wrecked mass.Put the rapier down NOW or I will shove that rapier so far up your backside you will have trouble passing your meals for the next several months." Intimidate: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 vs. 10 + the target's Hit Dice + the target's Wisdom modifier. If you are successful, the target is shaken for 1 round. This duration increases by 1 round for every 5 by which you beat the DC.

Amris spots a weakness in the swordsman's defense and presses the attack! Rapier: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
"For Pete's sake! You demon spawn toad sucker! May you trip and fall upon your own rapier!" "Damn he is good! Or I really need to stick to exploring tombs and sweet talking" thinks Amris.
Male Aasimar Bard (Archaeologist) 2
"I must know Mr. Shiny Buttons, why of someone of your considerable talent throw in with the Shadow lodge, let alone these goblins? Are you lacking in some other part of your life?" Amris changes tactics. Starting with a quick feint he sets up MSB for an attack. Bluff: Feint: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 vs. 10 + your opponent's base attack bonus + your opponent's Wisdom modifier
