Amris peers around the shield trying to determine what these creatures are and what threats they may pose.

Amris moves over to the table to examine the keys and table. He spends some time trying to see if he can find a discernable pattern or shapes. He also takes time to search around and under the table for an clues. He tries to pull on his knowledge of Arcana, Dungeoneering, History, and the Planes.

He hands the keys off to Adrianna to investigate.

"Hmmmm...yes...interesting... check the doors, we may need to secure ourselves."

Amris moves to the Eastern door, checking for traps and then getting to work on picking the lock. He will wait for the party to gather and decide on the best course of action before opening the door.

This certainly smells like the right establishment. Hmmmmm.... Now Adrianna, I cannot have you buying another pony just because it looks fetching. Let's do try and mind our manners as well... A nice hot bath will be in order though."

"Daeris stalks like a wolf. Best not to get trapped in those jaws should she get to biting." Amris muses to himself.

Amris tries to ham it up by almost strutting like a peacock.

"The Pathfinder's never promised me a place on a stage. I had really prefered to digging around in crypts, but the path leads us in many directions. One must find his way regardless of the landscape." Amris ponders.

"Steady child. Just as soon as we settle in you will be looking to the horizon to your next adventure. There are people to be met and profit gained." Amris chuckles to himself and adds "But indeed a hot bath and soft bed heals the weary from the journey. A nice rarebit would indeed be welcome."

Amris casually scans the area try to get a lay of the land and an idea of the exterior of this building.

We as likely will have to breakout of this place as break in to accomplish our mission.

Amris looks over to the elf and chuckles softly.

"Remind me fair maiden, not to over extend my welcome with you. I agree with the lady. We will need to be subtle in or approach. I usually like to cover my movement with a cover story laden with truth. Hence, why I tried to lead off with the story of being a merchant in search of new opportunities. I am actually a caravan owner to supplement my archaeological curiosities. Antiquities pay well, but linens pay regular. I am not sure that embellishing about any connection to the church was a wise gamble on my part however.

I am open to other opportunities. We all have a role to play, even if it is just to roleplay."

Amris hands over the two platinum pieces with a smil and a firm handshake.

Are there only nine of us? I was thinking 11, but one would be recognizable. If there both are out of sight due to high profile, that is fine. I just want to account for where everyone is in my mind.

Amris quickly moves forward to the enforcers and acknowledges them.

"Finally the local constabulary! We advisors from the Moonstone Trading Company looking to bring the finest linens and cloth to Razmiran and hope to exchange good unique to your region. The Priesthood of Razmiran is our intended client, but we like to keep an open mind to all manner of clientele.

Please excuse my entourage. My personal guard is a well regarded huntress in her home lands and is always spoiling to expand her expertise.

We have, I believe, ten in our party and are looking to expedite our payment of the requisite fees and tariffs, so that we may quickly conclude our business and begin increasing the wealth of our future patrons. A rich patron, is a happy patron."

Amris listens to the conversation and considers Daeris' suggestion.

"I think a simple ruse might be best. Is your crew predominantly dwarven, or might we blend in with the crew? The boat doesn't sound large enough to hide upon, but if we can talk our way through, maybe we can arrive at our destination without injury before we encounter the Razmiri priests."

Amris keeps his backside pointed away from Daeris and her motivating arrows. It is decidedly harder to tap dance when one is perforated.

Amris quickly enters the room, obviously distracted.

"My apologies, I was held up with a matter concerning my caravan leaving the city. I assure you my distractions are behind me"

Amris attempts to gauge the situation as best as he can with his limited exposure, and settles in to the matter at hand.

Amris changes tactics. Starting with a quick feint he sets up MSB for an attack.
