Looking around, Amelisce spies the dwarf. Looks like the innkeep. Or a bartender at least. Someone who can help us take this private and find our Pathfinder. She moves over by Aurelia and gestures toward the man. "Aurelia. Good fortune. I think the innkeeper is right there. But, he looks a little nervous about our entrance."

Amelisce looks for an innkeeper or other figure of authority in the Inn. "First, perhaps the Pathfinder artificer has a room here? See anyone we could ask?"

"Yes First!" Amelisce helps to get the prisoner up and moving in the direction of the inn. She continues to watch the surrounding for signs of any more incoming trouble. We'll see if this one is ready to talk or requires some persuasion. she thinks while fingering another needle secreted within her belt.

Amelisce continues to watch for any emerging trouble and calls out, "First! Nothing in this direction other than some surprised citizens, but I hear activity from the inn. We're probably going to have some visitors soon. If we want to keep this private, we need to hurry or take this off the street."

"Yes First! Amelisce moves into position as ordered, leaving the interrogation to Karak. She immediately begins scanning the alleys and rooftops for snipers or toughs moving in. I really don't like this. Give me the dark alley or rooftop nest any day over having to sit out here exposed.

Quick heads-up that I'm leaving for a family vacation to Ireland tomorrow and will be gone through the end of the month. I'm still planning to post and will do my best not to miss any days, but if I do, go ahead and either put Amelisce on hold or run her as needed.

In situations assumed that could be hostile, Amelisce is going to probably be a natural scout, but at an inn with such a friendly mascot, there couldn't possibly be trouble...

Never having been in the Pig, Amelisce struggles to even recall just where the inn is located, but the sight of the pig on a spit is vaguely familiar as she approaches with the rest of the team. "First, how would you like us to form up and help inside?" while waiting for an answer, she watches to see if anyone is moving in or out of the establishment.

Amelisce retreats and doubles over retching but then slips something from a small purse at her side. Those watching closely see her jab it into her thumb. Seeming to quickly recover, she discreetly returns it to her purse and wipes her mouth with a handkerchief just in time to hear Amira speaking to the armored man.

Amelisce's eyes widen at the sight of the children's remains. Stomach roiling, she pulls her eyes away and resists the urge to draw shadows in over the bodies, knowing that they will have to look more closely.

The deep black cloak and tabard of the Black Company envelops the slender kayal woman. Perhaps it is a trick of the fading light, her deep grey-black complexion or a nearly supernatural grace, but at times she nearly vanishes within the rest of the squad. Knowing this to be a situation where Aurelia should take the lead, she clutches her cloak tighter and the deepening shadows seem to take a cue and gather about her further, leaving nothing but a pair of luminescent greenish yellow eyes to regard the soldier of the Crimson Guard.

My only question is whether we'll be able to pool enough to purchase a wand. If not, I have some other things, I would purchase. Since we're only at 190 gp right now, it doesn't look good.
