Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex moved up beside Sasha and looked into the well. perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 Alex saw a pattern of scratches on the side of the well and pointed them out to the others. "it looks like something was attached there. Should I throw some light down the well?" Tag Sasha and Inamm
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex added her investigative qualities to the others as they returned to the church to find more clues as to what had transpired. When Inamm voiced her theory it seemed very reasonable to Alex that looking into the well would be worthwhile. "Do you think there is another way in and out of the keep via the well?" tag Sasha and Inamm
Female Human Alchemist-2
Upon examination of the leaves, Alex shook her head sadly. "I am afraid that tracking is out. These leaves are meant to mess with an animal's scent ability. It looks like we either look around for possible clues the old-fashioned way or else we go back inside and investigate the scene to see if there is anything the killer left behind. Any preference?" tag everyone part of me is thinking we ran into these leaves before awhile back but can't remember for sure. Will go back and read over past posts but if it turns out that we have then Alex will reference that...
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex thought they should look for clues in the church but didn't want to become separated from Sasha and the others in case they needed her help. Basically turning on her heel, Alex followed Sasha and the dogs outside again. Seeing Sasha's interest in the leaves on the ground, Alex went in to take a closer look. at work and can't remember if Alex has spellcraft or not. Will look when I get home and make a role. She'll also want to take a sample of the leaves (if safe to do so) to analyze further when things aren't so chaotic.
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex frowned in dismay as she recognized the same signs of poisoning with Father Rikard. She may not know what poisoned them but she may be able to figure it out. Taking one of her empty glass vials, Alex tried to carefully extract a sample of the poison from the wound. Once she was finished, she joined Sasha in examining the room where the priest was who they had only recently healed.
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex shook her head sadly when she saw the puncture wound. "This is beyond my skill to heal. I am afraid that your daughter has been poisoned, sir. Will the priest be able to help her?" tag Tella's dad Sasha wrote: "Keepers of the Keep!" Sasha roared, "to arms! It's heading for the chapel!" Alex felt dismay at Sasha's words. If whatever poisoned Tella was headed for the chapel then maybe the priest was in danger as well. If they didn't help the priest, there may be no one left who could help Tella. Not really knowing what to do but feeling like she needed to do something, Alex got to her feet. Leaving the girl with her father she said, "Keep Tella comfortable until we can return with the priest." The alchemist then ran after Sasha who was already on her way to the chapel.
Female Human Alchemist-2
I can only see Alex having used one of her heals today so I'm assuming in my post that she has one left. Alex knelt beside Tella's father, her heart breaking at his distress. "May I take a look?" The man nodded glumly not knowing what else to do and made room for Alex. She felt Tella's forehead and then put her ear to her chest to listen for sounds of life. Tella's breathing was shallow but she still appeared to be alive. Taking her last prepared healing concoction, Alex activated it and then poured it gently into Tella's mouth. if Tella doesn't respond to the healing, Alex will make a healing check to try and figure out why ie poison, magic, etc.

Alex nodded at Sasha's suggestion, "I would like to see him tomorrow but I have a feeling that he's not going to remember what he was ranting in his delirium." Alex shoveled some more food into her mouth and was barely done swallowing before asking the two women, "What do you want to do now? It's a little early to turn in for the night."
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex ate quietly as she kept thinking back to what Father Abercrombie had been ranting about while still feverish. Finally she posed her question to the others, "Do either of you think there's anything worth investigating from what Abercrombie said? Who's Ilian? What formula was he talking about?"
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex became distracted at the rantings of Curate Abercrombie when she heard him speak of a buried, special formula. Her mind started racing about what that may be. It was only when Sasha elbowed her as she stepped aside that Alex's attention crashed back to the present. The alchemist fished out one of the vials of healing draft she had bottled at the temple and she stepped up to the fading priest. She placed a cloth cooled by water that was laying beside the bed onto the man's forehead to quiet the ramblings so that she could pour the potion into his mouth. The elderly priest's voice stilled and Alex quickly administered the medicine and held her breath to see if it would work.
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex removed the contraption from the side of the font after she determined what each of the liquids were. In the absolute quiet, her speaking voice sounded like she was shouting. The water in the font is still pure and we can use it to help the priest. She started to get out some bottles from her kit and then adjusted her voice so that it was barely above a whisper. We just need to collect it. She waived her hand absently at the other bottles that the orc had been filling. That's poison to us so I wouldn't touch it. It seems like the orc shaman was bastardizing the healing waters of the font into healing potions for orcs - but alas, healing to them is poison to us.
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex quickly searched the orc as requested by Sasha before turning her attention to what really intrigued her - the liquid that the orc shaman had been fixated on. Alex started getting out her alchemist's kit as she witnessed Inamm sniff one of the vials. I'll be able to tell you more than that in a moment. I should be able to ascertain what the liquid is and possibly why there were doing what they were doing. alchemy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex felt the darkness closing in on her and the cold freezing her bones. will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 Panic welled up in the alcehmist's mind and she found it hard to focus on what she was doing. Moving into the room Alex threw one of her shock bombs at the chanting orc. attack: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 6 - 1 = 20
I can't remember how big this room is but thought it would be big enough to toss a bomb. Tried to find the link to the map but couldn't. If room is too small then Alex would attack with her quarterstaff and I'd have to roll my attack again.
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex watched Inamm slip by Sasha to get into the room and figured that she would be able to do the same. acrobatics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 Unfortunately, Alex had no practice in maneuvering her body through tight places and she ended up bumping Sasha a little closer to the orc she was fighting in her attempt to move by. Balls!
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex was about to beat the remaining ratdog when Inamm quietly dispatched the creature with a well-placed dagger. I'm assuming the creature will die. If not then Alex will attack it. Turning her attention back to the chanting, Alex moved forward after letting Sasha lead the way.
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex nodded sharply at Sasha before readying her quarterstaff to bludgeon whatever came out. She had briefly considered one of her bombs before deciding otherwise - currently they still had surprise on their side as far as the chanters were concerned. The mutagen coursing through her body granting her extra strength hadn't dulled her wits enough so that she wasn't aware of their advantage.
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex felt angered by the level of destruction seen in the once beautiful chapel. These filthy orcs would pay for their disrespect. With that Alex continued to follow Sasha with her quarterstaff at the ready. how much time has passed and how much longer will Alex's mutagen last?
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex followed Sasha and Will with the intention of entering the building. As she passed Inamm, Alex handed her a vial with a grunt. After Inamm took the vial, the alchemist made a drinking motion and then kept moving. Alex will give Inamm a healing infusion to drink. I believe I can do this because of Alex being a chirurgeon. We will search the bodies after...
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex grinned as the orc's eyes widened at her transformation. Letting out a deep, gravely laugh Alex swung at the orc's head with her quarterstaff as if playing baseball. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Alex missed her target as the orc took a step backwards to get away from her. She continued to press her attack as she closed the gap and prepared to take another swing. swing and a miss :(
Female Human Alchemist-2
Being too close to throw one of her bombs, Alex reached for one of her mutagens. She moved back out of range of the orc's sword and quaffed her mutagen. Immediately the sound of cracking bones filled the air as the mutagen began to grow Alex to become more beastial. She gave the orcs a feral smile and swung her quarterstaff around, ready to beat them down. She gave something akin to a growl and took a menacing step forward. Alex will drink mutagen to increase her strength. I don't think she can also attack this round but if I'm wrong then she'll attack. She just took a five foot step to drink the mutagen to avoid an AoO.
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex laughed gleefully as her bomb exploded. She always loved it when they went boom. She palmed another bomb and kept creeping forward to see if more orcs emerged. One thing was certain - if more orcs were about, they would come running now. Alex will look to see if new foes emerge perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Female Human Alchemist-2
Alex quickly moved up in order to get in range for throwing one of her bombs. Getting as close as she dared, Alex hurled her bomb at the remaining orc. Attack-Ranged (bomb): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Alex's aim was true and a small explosion of fire engulfed the remaining orc. not sure what kind of negatives Alex is looking at or if she could move closer than she did. It was hard to tell from the map if she could move closer or not.
