With Humerus drawing enemies like flies on rotting meat, all the vampire maid has to do is turn to start slashing into the next one.

Aily waits patiently for Humerus picks a new playmate, darting her dark eyes from enemy to her blood lord, lip curling up just slightly when he starts to do something again.

Then the maid shifts quickly to enemy's side and cuts deep with her shadow's heart blade.

Aily glides forward, skirts swaying the only sound. Smoothing them down as she kneels next to the ward, to keep them from brushing and triggering. A small knife appears in her hand, from where her fingers are tool deft to tell. With a tiny cut against the perfect spot, the ward is now useless.

Standing neat and tidy, Aily looks to her minion and nods her agreement with the order.

Aily collects the key with a small bob of her skirts, before slipping it into a key ring containing ones for their residences, both old and new. She says nothing about revealing the secret. It is ridiculous to even consider, since secrets were power, to give that away for nothing...

Aily looks long at the creature trapped in chains, then with a frown she turns and follows the blood lords. Placing this decision as a tally on their very being.

Ally feels a kinship with the bird. Decades of servitude to a hated parent does feel like being chained in the ash. "It could be a boon, a thorn to our mutual enemies... or it could attempt to kill us for sport. The eye feels like an offer of sorts, but it does seem to have more than a few to spare."

"I will not fall" Aily says, with a frank certainty. She holds his gaze, then lets her lips curve into a smile, and a small bow of thanks, adding "My lord" to the end finally.

Shattering the spell does feel gratifying, but not nearly as much as shattering his bones will be. Her body heals with her blood lord's power, making her straighten before slashing and stabbing.

Somehow the maid keeps on her feet, somehow she still takes off, leaving a trail of crimson dripping down.

Aily easily shifts to behind a column to escape even a run in her stockings from the darkness. As soon as the breath is over, she bolts to the dragon to work with her minion to end the threat of boney dragon breath a second time.

Unfortunately, Aily has learned fear. Not for herself, since what was life but a string of brutality to overcome with ruthlessness, but for others. Two others to be exact. But this dragon's power found that fear and stroked it like a lover, making it unreasonable and wild.

"It seems that some of the giantess' curse has remained on me." it looks like if she could stab that woman again and have it felt in the afterlife she would again and again until someone ordered her to stop.

Aily wastes no time darting into the mix along side Smoke, sending two quick slashes into the seer's flesh.

"I am Aily Yor, first servant of the blood lord Cariad and his ally blood lord Stanton." she pauses to let the names sink in. She does not introduce the hulking skeleton with her of course.

"They have devastated every enemy that has come before them, shattering their pride, crushing their will, and sending them into nothingness without mercy." her voice is as sharp as her blade which is now in her hand. A blade that drinks in the darkness around her.

"Your companion, this Graelar, attempted to do so, but was put down with ease. The only hope for continued existence was to tell us everything about your defenses, and then to come here as a symbol to what happens when you resist our great lords." the battered body, the ponderous chains, the sad puppy dog eyes of please they will kill you and ME.

"While the blood lord's servants are trained to evade notice, the blood lord's themselves rely on being seen. Spells could hide your presence, while I could become a servant, everything needs cleaned." her red eyes look to the cowering Graelar for conformation. "Success there still means we have a force of giants behind us as we confront whatever is front of us."

"Intimidation is probably our best possibility of circumventing the problem. Use the reputation you have fostered as blood lords that cannot be stopped, bring the prisoner as Humerus suggests and give them the option of leaving without dying or see what their fate would be if they don't."

We can sell curtain call, Aily already has everything it gives.

Aily stands behind her blood lord, cleaning the blood of the giant off her blade with slow long swipes, as she looks up at the giant. A single glance that brims with the knowledge that his answers will decide how much pain he will be in after.

"Fault is unimportant." Aily responds without looking, seething, and planning on her own, while waiting.

Aily watches her former minion while the others talk, gathering in her mind all the ways to make him suffer. But then she turns away, ignoring him completely.

It is possible that anyone in the group might have seen a drawn book where the person get so angry the very air around that is spiking up, like invisible flame.

Aily is like that, standing next to Humerous with a fury so bright the world might burn to ash any second. Her voice is flat death when she says to the large skeleton "You Hit Him"
