Sure wish someone would pick this up and run with it.
I still am. Though I post a whole lot better in the Paranoia IC.
"None of us have any healing abilities, but I have a wild idea that may help Ms. Gendrone."
"Transfuse blood to her and hope she turns an ace."
Kronos just lets that idea hang of the moment.
"I didn't realize she was that wounded. Let's patch them up as fast as we can."
Agent Kronos gently hands Ms. Gendrome.
"I'll go scout ahead. Pixie, can you join me?"
"Agent Marko can you handle lifting Ms. Gendrome, too. We may have to fight our way out and I figure you are the one best able to take care of the wounded."
"Agents! Let's get out of here! Bring Ms. Gendrome!"

Will the guards leave us alone for now if we allow them to retreat?

I think we're moving out of combat mode unless....
Kronos seeing the indecision amoung the guards tries a different move, "Ceasefire!"
If the guards continue fighting then we bury them.
Seeing as these guards intend to kill them and the fact that the Swarm Broodleader has taken over Prodigy, Kronos decides to make a quit end of it.
Though the guard survived my punch, I submit that he should be bruised.
Kronos directs a blur strike at the unprotected part of the guard.
Strike (DC 18) Attack Roll (1d20+4=23)
He then moves behind the guard and away from Prodigy and his nasty energy weapon.
Fnck! Prodigy's been possessed!
Strike (DC 18) Attack (1d20+4=22)
Agent Kronos leaves Gendrone in the morgue. He charges out ofthe morgue and strikes one of the gunmen, his fist moving faster than the eye could see.
Incidentally, the bruise Kronos suffered earlier is slowly disappearing. Regeneration 8
Toughness (1d20+8=28)
Agent Kronos shields Miss Gendrone from the hail of gunfire.
Under optional Wild Card rules, even if you make the Toughness check you're still bruised unless you're impervious, yes?
He then carries Miss Gendrone away from the gunfight.
Agent Kronos shields Gendrome with his body and starts to remove her to safety.
As much as I'd like to lend a hand, my plate is pretty full. Perhaps, it's time to recruit a new player.
"Gentlemen, the future is uncertain and we have just passed a point of no return."
Any openings to the ventilation system?
"Agent Charm, negotiate with them and buy us some time."
The boards are acting up again. Eating my posts.
"Appeasement never solved anything, so don't be a fool into thinking that that would solve our problems."
"Sorry, Joseph. I was out of it for a moment there. But are you suggesting that we hand over Mr. Marquez, a SCARE agent?"
This is not the first time PsionicFox has gone missing from the boards.
"I know who the Master is. He looks like Tommy Lee Jones in a cheap suit. And he has been in this room."
Power Check (1d20+8=19)
Agent Kronos trusts in the abilities and competence of his companions. He knows that he will have enough time for what he is planning. He closes his eyes and lets his consciousness drift along the river that is time.
He follows the path taken by the doctor back into the past until he discovers a scene where the doctor is meeting the "Master". Now that he is also aware of the situation in the prison, Agent K also looks for any interaction between the doctor and the Cannibal.
Think "Prison Break". There are a lot of places behind the prisons walls.
"Places like this prison have extensive underground complexes. It is possible that the 'Master' is hiding out there with an army of his brood guarding him."
Just Read Ciaphas Caine, a WH 40K Novel, and he fought tyranids, aliens similar to these aliens.
"Prodigy, were you able to contact SCARE HQ?"
Fort (1d20+5=20)
Agent Kronos pulls his hat off and covers his nose and mouth with it.
Copy that. Plus 10 Init here.
"Manny, what do you think is wrong with him?"
Agent Kronos checks the doctor's vitals.
"Agent Marquez, Prodigy, help me with the doctor."
"Agent Charme, Marko, Pixie, see what's wrong."
Looks like a nice division of work.
I get the feeling the doctor won't be cooperating.
"Don't worry, Marquez. If you are Swarm, then you don't really need the gun."
"Now, doctor, tell us: who are the members of your little cabal?"
"Agent Marquez, I need you sidearm."
"Agent Charme, cover the doctor."
"Tomorrow is not yet written, Agent Marquez. That I can assure you."
"Prodigy, inform SCARE of the situation by any means necessary. We need to initiate a lockdown of this place."
"Doctor, I am afraid your today is going from bad to worse if you do not cooperate."
Yeah! Potential major massacre!
"I do not have time for cryptic, Agent Marquez. Explain yourself. Now."
"Gentlemen, SCARE protocol is clear. Agent Marquez, you will stand down and cease any wild card power manifestation."
"Doctor Boroughs, do not leave the facility until we have time to talk to you. That's is a SCARE directive, by the way."
Any hostile actions against Agent Kronos will be met with deadly force.
"Now settle down both of you."
"I mean it."
"Sure, kid. Let me get my gloves on."
Kronos, having seen a lot of dead bodies in his time, is somewhat inured to the whole corpse experience.
"Manny, what's the problem? You're a bit pale."
Agent Kronos follows Ms. Gendrome. He is keen to see the file detailing the Cannibal's power limits.
He suspects that the prison break is not simply about the release of the Cannibal. He is clearly tempted to simply peer into the future but that may take too much time and he might not what to look for. Hence, the need for further information about the Cannibal. If the Cannibal was possessed by some other entity, as his vision suggests, then who is this entity?
Further, to what would that entity possess the Cannibal?
Kronos states that, "The police have discovered the body of a blonde woman in her late 20s in the home of Alain LaPointe. The woman's identity is unknown and she is not a local."
"Perhaps someone would like to follow up on that lead. Pixie? Manny?"
Kronos emerges from his trance uttering the word, "Interesting."
"Ms. Gendrone, what can you tell us about Mr. LaPointe? His 201 file would be very helpful. Also, any inmate file on the Cannibal?"
"Prodigy, I need info on a telephatic wildcard with powers of possession."
Agent Kronos closes his eyes and searches the past for any event similar to the one described by Manny.
Taking 10 on the power check.
Whatever the result, Kronos asks Ms. Gendrone if they have a file detailing the limits of the Cannibal's abilities.
"Ms. Gendrone, where is the cell of the Cannibal located? Can you take us there."
