Adrian desperately looks over to see if there is any bucket he can use to put out the fire.
Here. Just got out of vacation.
"I know aa much as any of you guys about this thing," The monk replied with a shrug.
"I like the sound of that." Adrian put away his crossbow and went back to check of anyone else was alright.
"GET BACK!" In a rare case of jumping into combat against his own well-being, Adrian moves in front and unloads his crossbow at the creature on his way to meeting the undead head on.
And posted. That update... took longer than I thought.
"I would rather we make sure they aren't able to spot us in the first place," Adrian replied.
"Did you notice anything?" the monk asks as Byron disappears into the area. With a shrug, Adrian stays put for the time being.

"Right." No time like the present, and with the mass of people approaching them they couldn't afford to stick around for much longer.
"I'm not that good with a boat either," Adrian added, shaking his head. "But maybe Lyraesel can turn into something that can steer the thing while the rest of us hide inside."
Adrian waited in interest on how the conversation is going. "So it doesn't seem like she's attacking him so far. That's a good sign at least."

"It won't be easy getting out of such a funk," Adrian replied, electing the collect any remaining alcohol and dumping it out through a window. "From my experience addiction can be hard to overcome... and that's without any magic that witch used."

As glad as he was to be out of the reach of those massive hands, his face betray a hint of sadness of the affair. "They must have loved each other to be willing to go out like that," he sighed.

"I wouldn't trust manacles of that person," Adrian added, rubbing his neck as he did. "We can see if charming him may work. If not... well we at least have the drunks to tell us what's going on."
Crap. Adrian manages to duck his head under the blast and moves in the hopes of catching up to the witch, getting his crossbow loaded as he did.
Adrian steps forward before continuing his advantage on the big man.
Well... it was worth a shot. It was also worth the distraction that allowed him to finally twist the arm and escape the grapple. Adrian coughs as he tried to get his breath again as he unleashes two more punches to knock him out for good.
Adrian growls in pain as the grip forces him on his knees. The fire that likely struck him would have been even more painful... if not for the healing arts of Zaraleva. "Okay, so we may have escalated things a lot." His response was to try and maneuver out of the grip once more.
"But we can spare your wife if you stop fighting and start giving us answers."
The two punches caused the monk to recoil in pain as he tried to shake it out of his hands. "What is that armor made off?" He didn't get much of an answer as he was grabbed by the next by the angry warrior. "A little help please?" Adrian for his part tried to break free from the grip by striking down at the elbow.
Decent idea, but that would cause him to eat two AoOs and I'm not sure he's at the right health to do that.
His eyes felt watery for whatever reason, but he managed to shake off that odd feeling before moving at the task at hand: beating down the brute before he has a chance to get back up again.

At least the other guards don't seem to be as prepared as the ones in the other room. Adrian sought to take advantage of that, moving to stun one soldier while performing a normal attack on the other.
He's tougher than he looks. Then it's time to focus on damage instead, and as he twirled around to avoid the axe strike Adrian sought to overwhelm his assailant with a series of punches.
Adrian arrived at the scene and accessed that he needed to get inside to help his party. He moved past Aiko to enter the building and tried to deliver a stunning uppercut at the guard.
If he was successful in stunning his opponent, he would use the opportunity to get further inside.
Yeah, could I get a link too as well as a starting location? Since I'm last, he will have to wait for the NPCs to act first.
I need to pace myself with anything new since I don't have as much free time as I used to. At least it's looking like my other campaign if coming to an end soon.

Adrian is still cautious after that surprise attack by that big cat... but he complies and moves past the barrier, making sure to be behind Byron's back as he did.
"It doesn't look like we can disable it without triggering it, Adrian sighed. "Maybe we can trigger it and hide out before someone comes out."
Unable to see the device for himself, he decides to stay behind and let someone with more magical acuity to take a look at it.
"Anything that could last long enough for any fight we may get ourselves into would be nice," Adrian suggested.
I don't think so. He should be at full health now.
I currently don't have any ideas on inventory right now. But at the very least we should get to selling some things.
