I know this is a dated post but I've been working on an oread build for pfs recently myself. Oread goliath druid. At 3rd level he's wearing stoneplate, carrying large stone clubs (and one large club in case gms aren't forgiving). Casts shillelagh and enlarge to stroll in with a decent attack. Armor proficiency (heavy) and Dwarf blooded feats let him wear the armor and not be slowed. wand of longstrider bumps him back up to 30 speed. add in a velociraptor animal companion that he can enlarge and loads of earth based spells and he's a whole lot of fun. don't forget mostly human so he can be enlarge person'd.

I appreciate your suggestion icehawk but that's WAY too powerful. I'm not looking to break the game. In fact if there was a reasonably priced way to once per day add 20 to attack roll but it lowered damage by say 10 I'd still be fine with that. My goal here is NOT to make the character using it lot more powerful. think of it more as finding a way once per day of "taking 20" on an attack roll. true strike ends up being almost more powerful than what I really want but it seemed easier to use it as a basis to start from than trying to create an entirely new effect.

I think your pricings are relatively reasonable maezer. when there's already another item out there that pretty much does this though, it surprised me how opposed you seem to allowing something even weaker.

I notice everyone has a huge kneejerk reaction to charge out the butt for true strike but in this focused application its not THAT powerful. the bracers are a clear example that the item is already out there and not ridiculously broken. especially at once per day and bow shot only

those bracers do exactly what I want and more. thanks for pointing them out. even if I don't go with them they give me a good basis for pricing. (a bit less on the bow because they don't have the continuous effects but a bit more because they don't go on the wrist slot). then again I might just take those and be happy. thanks again

that takes a standard action to use though. in many ways what I want is weaker since it can only be used for one bow shot and then only once per day. needs to be swift of free action though

I know there have been several posts on true strike and I've tried to read them all but my question is more specific. Its probably a custom job because of personal target and odd duration so not something that falls under the normal rules for magic item pricing. How much do you guys think it should cost to add the ability to my bow to use true strike as a swift action once per day? how much if it was cast as a free action? note that this is ONLY to affect the next bow attack.
