Female Human Desert Druid 1

Finally back!

Female Human Desert Druid 1

It'll take me a bit of reading through since I've never been past book one.

'Abal has spent her entire life in the dessert. Her goals ate what is best for the land itself.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Will get leveled later tonight.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

I can get to retooling and leveling 'Abal if she works for you all.

Updated build, added Description. Will expand background later today.

’Abal

Appearance:

A bit above average height, 'Abal is in excellent physical condition, her body possessing sleek lean muscle while still maintaining noticeable feminine curves. Her hair, short to deal with the desert heat except for a long braided tail at the back of her neck, is a natural smoky grey, despite her youth, a stark contrast to her sun bronzed skin.

Her features are sharp, in the manner of many of the desert folk, making her eyes, the color of storm clouds, stand out sharply. She most often dresses in light, loose gauzy clothing, fitting for the desert heat, with little regard for avoiding exposure or conceding to foreign notions of modesty. Often wearing sandals or going barefoot, the better to feel the desert sands between her toes, maintaining her connection to the environment which to her is as vibrant and alive a place as any.

A desert native her entire life, 'Abal carries with her an air of natural, untamed beauty, her glare as hard as the midday sun, her smile as welcome as the sight of an oasis.

Will adjust relevant details shortly.

I'd be interested. I can adjust this character to fit build guidelines.

Leveled down to one just fine tuning equipment and backstory.

I will level down this character to 1 shortly.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Understood. It's a shame but it happens.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

"That is sad indeed. We have been finding our way around this settlement hoping to gain some knowledge of our employer. I somehow find it difficult to believe that a man like that perished in the storm, no matter how brutal or intense."

Female Human Desert Druid 1

'Abal smiles as she joins Wyldyrn at the halfling's table. "Truly the fabled luck of your people must lie with you my fried."

Female Human Desert Druid 1

"Well honestly, we are looking for a companion with whom we were travelling before we were attacked by the Anubites. It is how we ended up here to begin with, but being a druid of the desert, I couldn't resist when I heard of your practice."

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Howdy

Female Human Desert Druid 1

I'd be cool with it, was reading it for a while, I can get caught up in a day or so.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Still here

Female Human Desert Druid 1

'Abal is speechless with the abundance of plants and herbs available in Yuria's shop. With deep respect she bows to the elderly shopkeeper.

"I have walked the desert for years and never found half of the plants you have here, you are surely a wealth of knowledge in this wonderful oasis." she says with a smile.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Yep

Female Human Desert Druid 1

"True, but better to have more information before that. We should continue," 'Abal says, preparing to take her leave and head toward the herbalists shop.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

I'm still here and looking forward to resuming as well.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

"We traveled the most treacherous parts of the desert in the company of another, an elf like Wyldyrn here, but quite different. He had a ruby for one of his eyes. Has there been sign of any other lost strangers before or since your people rescued us?" 'Abal asks the massive builder.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

"I hail from the Sarengave as well, I am a Walker of the Desert, calling this land not only home, but friend."'Abal chimes in, craning her neck to view the massive genie.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

"While I agree that we should think on continuing our mission, but we should also know more about our surroundings. While I personally wish to visit with the herbalist, we may also wish to speak with Azamad. If any sign of a foreigner entering was noted, it would probably be by those manning the walls."

Barring any major disagreement, 'Abal will first visit Yuria, then explore the walls. She will welcome the company of the others, especially Wyldyrn who seems to share her appreciation of the rare beauty of this place.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Ok will take the lead in this I guess. A 5th might be a good idea, we have 2 divine and 2 melee assuming everyone else is still on board.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Any word?

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Is there something particular you're waiting on from us? I see the other group is still going.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

‘Abal immediately takes an interest in Yuria, fascinated to see what unique herbs might grow in the heart of legendary desert. As the companions make their way around the town, she is amazed by the prosperity found there, reveling in the comfort of the land, to one practically born to the brutal desert heat.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

I think we're all in agreement to explore the city.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

As she feels the food nourish her body, removing all sense of fatigue or injury, 'Abal marvels at it's restorative properties. Truly those of this land felt Daiga's touch.

"The food you provide is truly wondrous, as are your offerings I am sure."

'Abal looks to her fellow companions."Shall we explore as we decide our next action? Perhaps we will hear word of Yalandere"

Female Human Desert Druid 1

"Indeed Meriui, Daiga is a source. He is the one who gifted me with the ability to draw water from the ground, a gift which helped to keep you alive while we traveled here." 'Abal says with a smile.

"Daiga requires some degree of effort from those for whom he provides, but yet he provides. Open your eyes and it will become clear my friend."

Female Human Desert Druid 1

'Abal turned to greet the stunning woman, touching the fingertips of her right hand to her forehead while bowing her head slightly in respect. "I am 'Abal al Naheed, a walker of the dessert. Never have I been this far into the Sarengave, surely your people are blessed, and your hospitality a life affirming boon after our treatment at the hands of the Anubites. As my companions have spoken, so do I, you need only request and it will be done."

Female Human Desert Druid 1
Wyldyrn Cor'amnis wrote:

Wyldyrn smiles as he hears the others speak, truly this must be the land of which Daiga had prophesied for his people. He could feel the wonderful breeze upon his skin and smell the wonders of vegetation. It was times like this that he truly missed his sight; such wonders to beheld and he could not witness its beauty. He turned towards Abal. "My dear Abal, could you please describe the land for me? It seems such a wondrous place."

Smiling, ‘Abal walks alongside the tall elf, ready to take his elbow should he need guidance. ”It is breathtaking. As far as the eyes can see this oasis extends, there are patches of true desert, that span many days walk, but these are mere specks amidst the plains and collections of trees and plants that can only be the jungles I have heard of. Green everywhere. The buildings in this town are made of stone, surrounded by trees of all kinds, and just outside the settlement there is a….lake, a large expansive body of still water, with a river flowing from it.”

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Wyldyrn can still see things within 30 ft right?

Female Human Desert Druid 1

The sight of this oasis deep in the heart of the worst part of the desert confirms all she had previously believed. Not dressed as heavily against the elements as the others, 'Abal revels in the comfort and beauty around her. Never in her life had she seen so much green.

She stows her cloak, enjoying the gentle breezes in silence, clearly overwhelmed by the sheer abundance of what lay before her.

"Blessed does not even begin to describe the bounty you have before you," she follows Meriui's statement. "I am 'Abal al Naheed, and I will remember this day for the rest of my life."

Female Human Desert Druid 1

'Abal joins the men at the collection of their gear, swiftly donning her clothing and armor as she listens to the responses to her companions' questions.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Wow we suck! lol

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Fighting in tandem with Faruq, 'Abal once again swings at the jackal headed enemy, the air around her continuing to ripple and shift.

1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 2 = 13
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Heat Shimmer round 3. Naked AC 11, affected as by Blur spell

Female Human Desert Druid 1

As Faruq engages the same monster, 'Abal attacks again, the tingling in her arms, from being tied up affecting her sword work more than she would have expected. As her strike falls far wide of the creature she maintains the swirling shimmer of heat, hoping to at least cause a distraction.

1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 7
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Heat shimmer round 3

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Advancing cautiously, 'Abal approaches the nearest anubite, a shimmering heat distortion warping the air around her body, she strikes at the creature.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Activate Heat Shimmer

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Just checking Shanosuke, are we waiting for you or are you waiting for us to overtly attack the Anubites?

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Looks like we're joining the fray

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Cursing to herself, 'Abal stands up and dashes out after the men, heading to the pile of their belongings and quickly grabbing up her scimitar, the weight and balance of the dark metal reassuring against the sense of vulnerability.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Abal crouches over one of the fallen Anubites and checks it for any weaponry or equipment, ignoring the awkwardness of doing so while completely naked.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

As 'Abal completes her spell the sandy ground shifts as massive centipede crawls up out of the ground to attack the Anubite facing Gersh fron behind Poviding a flank

The creature attempts to bite the jackal headed man on the leg as it crawls up him.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
1d6 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
Poison: Fort save DC 13 or 1d3 ⇒ 2 Dex damage; 6 rounds

Without waiting to see the result 'Abal dashes over to Wyldyrn working to free the elf.

Standard action to free Wyldyrn

Female Human Desert Druid 1

As Ghersh and Meriui turn to face the oncoming Anubites, 'Abal moves backwards, gaining space from the captors as she begins a summoning chant.

Sacrifice Cloak of Shade to cast Summon Nature's ally. Giant centipede will appear next round

Female Human Desert Druid 1

‘Abal feels herself being shaken awake she starts, the sudden jerk bringing fresh pain to her throbbing head. Between the headache and the discomfort of having nothing but a dream feast to exist off of for so long, she barely noticed the other assorted aches that radiated throughout her body.

As awareness floods into her she notices the myriad of sensations permeating her body, the bright light coming from an opening some distance away, the thirst in her throat, and the hot desert air on her skin. As she fully opens her eyes, she is able to properly assess her situation. She was tied to a pole. And she was completely naked.

Never one to care much for conventions like modesty she was still uniquely aware that she was the only woman amongst her male companions, all of whom were also stripped of everything. It appeared that Ghersh and Meriui were able to break free, and were in the process of waking everyone else.
Strength 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Strength 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

Feeling the fragility of the ropes she pulls, at first finding little success. She breathes deep, willing the blood to flow through her raised arms as she focuses, pulling her arms in opposite directions until she is rewarded with the snap of the weak, dry ropes.

”Thanks” She says looking at the strange little warrior. Ignoring the urge to cover herself, she instead massages her wrists and shakes out her arms to get the circulation restored. Getting out of this situation alive was far more important than nakedness and the natural reactions her companions might have.

”How long have we been captive” she whispers.

Female Human Desert Druid 1

If attacker is still standing
'Abal steps forward, bringing her blade down in a diagonal slash across the man's torso.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Heat Shimmer active for a second round, as Blur spell

Female Human Desert Druid 1

Hissing in pain as the knife scores a cut across her skin, 'Abal steps back as Wyldyrn moves against her attacker 5ft step and draws her scimitar, the dark metal noticeable for its lack of gleam in the sunlight.

A shimmer seems to envelop her, making her outline waver and shift, the air around her distorted. Heat Shimmer acts as Blur spell

Female Human Desert Druid 1
