I amble over (as only a dwarf can amble) and say as I approach, "Hello fellow travelers. I couldn't help but over hear you talk about animal noises you encountered. Oh, forgive me intrusion. I'm Rahmzhi and I'm always lookin ta see what I can learn of the world around me. Can ya make the sound these animals were makin'?"

Aye Lass. If ya be willin' ta let be take a peek at yer tomes, I would be welcomin' ya ta the fire. Me father named me Rahmzhi-galdortu ta honour his uncle, but you can call me Rahmzhi ta honour me. Yon younging be Janaree. He don't say much, but I have me a feeling he got lots ta say nonetheless. Care you for a mug of me spiced mead?

With a flourish of his hands and a slight crackle of light, the tangle of brambles are wished away and then the books are collected and stacked before Annie.

Sad news. Due to hectic schedules and wedding stuff Tim and Eric are out. We’ve got a three person party and I’m fine with that. I can scale to suit. If we are all good with that I can continue and get our game going... let me know.

I suppose it would work better if I actually sent a reply instead of nodding at the screen. I'm fine with a smaller group. If need be, I can play a second character.

Hail and well met. I am Rahmzhi Coppervein. Proud son of Clan Coppervein of the Northern Range.

Much to the disdain of me father and mother, I've pursued with gusto, a life of the magical arts, and even more concerning is that I've left my clan's home mines to live amongst the topsiders while chasing my passion.

There is beauty and majesty in a well crafted scroll, a finely brewed potion, or an artfully made wand or staff. One day I will be recognized as a master in the art of item creation. Until then, there is much pleasure to be found in life. Wanna see what's out there with me?

Hello? Anyone else here?

I can play whatever the group needs. I'm trying to follow the thread, but I'm not sure what we currently have.

I Will be playing a dwarven wizard. He was created at level five to be added to another game, but that never happened.I just have to reduce him down to 1st level and will submit. (Once I figure out how to do that.)

When I think about how to play him, he seems more hobbitish than dwarven. I keep picturing him as being the life of the party in a tavern. I also see him as having a cozy as side home where he works o. Creating scrolls and potions.

Sorry, didn't mean for it to sound like I was trying to chase you off of playing a dwarf too! For reference I am 100% ok with having the same class and/or race as others in the party if they are.

I took it as you intended. No offense percieved. I've never played a Dwarf before, and frankly was a little intimidated that someone who knows how to play one would have to endure me doing it all wrong. Also, how equipped would a Dwarf be in a woodland situation?

On the flip side, you could give me a lot of good pointers on how best to play a Dwarf.

Ok folks, my goto character is a half elf ranger, but I have a Dwarven wizard already rolled up waiting for a game to try him out in.

Hi there all. I'm Michael and I am terminally late. I've played various games since the early 80s. All versions of D&D up to 3.5, Traveller,Gamma World, and have dabled in a variety of other games such as Call of Cthlhu.

I have always preferred to start characters at lower levels (ideally 1st) so I can learn who they are while I play them. My choice then is either The Haunted Forrest or Daughter of Fury.
