Gronnal surveyed the field before him. Already, beasts called from other places were forming from arcane energy. His cackling fire and grasping vines dotted the area. And at the very center of it all stood the Emerald clouds, it cool flames trickling into the pool and splashing green light around. This is what the humans were given when the gods brought them fire. Now, he came to claim the whatever advantage it granted for his own people so that someday, they will dominate the land.
I will bring a few characters, but if you would like to create your own, here are the guidelines.
RACE: From the Pathfinder Bestiary 1-6 choose a monster with a CR equal to 4, 5 or 6. Undead, elementals, golems, oozes, swarms, plants and dragons are not allowed. Their abilities are unbalanced in single encounters. Please bring a copy of your critter's monster entry, especially from the more recent books. PDF is fine, non-licensed versions are not.
CLASS: Choose a core class from the Pathfinder books. Avoid Advanced Class Guide Classes, the hybrid nature with a race can get out of hand quickly. I am similarly worried about kineticists, so please bring a backup character if this is what you want to play. Class level will be 6, 5, or 4 so adding level and CR equals 10. This is a unique blend, and does NOT use the advancing monsters section of the Bestiary.
Controlling the Emerald Clouds is a spatial thing. Having more than one piece on the board should be an advantage.
Abilities & Feats: Keep it simple: use the numbers from the monster’s stats. However if you need to raise an ability by 2 to qualify for spell casting drop your con by 4. Don’t forget the additional point at level 4. Monster feats should be the same as well, but if it has a general or combat feat (such as two-weapon fighting) and you want to trade it for another general feat (such as point-blank shot) that is OK.
HP: Use average hp for racial Hit Dice, maximize hp for class Hit Dice.
Equipment: Equip yourself with whichever +1 light or medium armor (+1 bracers OK) you wish, (no special materials). Heavy armor is available ONLY if the monster entry lists it. Arm yourself with a +1 weapon if you wish or give one natural attack a +1 magical bonus. Additionally each character may bring a number of potions of a first level spell based on their class level.
CL4=1 potion, CL5= 2 potions, CL6=3 potions.
Other Materials: Please bring or a mini or token. If you have a flip-mat please bring it (we need 8 total). We should be able to spread out to several tables. Each character will be given a score card.
Balance & Fun: Should one critter break the game so far as to ruin everyone else’s fun, I reserve the right to re-institute balance. Darkness I am looking at you. As an all or nothing ability, it makes for poor combat balance. Other corrections may include an addition of the Cursed Sidekick’s Template to the offending critter or the Salty Golem Template being added to the offending player’s oatmeal.

Thanks for the interest I am told the unclaimed tickets disappeared the first day! Considering this was offered after the lottery I am quite flattered by my little support piece's popularity. Thanks to everyone who participated.
The short and pudgy, raccoonlike humanoid wielded a quarterstaff of pure energy. He weaved a little as if intoxicated, but Boshin, the drunken master Tanuki was in control.
The darkly handsome humanoid's batlike wings, curving horns, and bestial legs betrayed his demonic origin. His big axe and dark armor betrayed his demonic demonic life-choices. Killjoy, the incubus anti-paladin, crushed all opponents to claim the title.
Top Beast Basher!
We did not have a full roster of battlers, but we did have fun!
