Welcome to the scenario!
I've run a lot of PF1 stuff back in the day, and have played a bit of PF2 on and off, looking to engage more with the system so I'll be brushing up as we go along. I trust you to know the specific mechanics of your characters.
I'm based in New Zealand (+12), so a little odd hours in comparison with some of the world. Workdays I'll check in morning and evening most likely, though no expectations for more than one post from people during the week, though if it gets lively I'm happy to follow along. Weekends are understandably busier for everyone as routine gets thrown out the window.
I'll set up the Sheets document tomorrow morning as we get all checked in.
Looks like we just have three people signed up, so let me know what pregen you want to join the party (I haven't played a whole lot of PFS for PF2 so I don't know which are the preferred PF2 pregens).
Side-note, I may have broken the gameplay thread. Off to a great start.

I’m here. Fairly new to 2e myself so I can’t help on the pregen suggestions, but we can all work on it together :)
I’ve got to transcribe my character to this alias profile anyway, and finally decide if I want weapon or mirror implement your start.

No worries, GM Ubi. In fact, it's probably good that it happened now, so there's time to get it fixed before we start. On a related note, please disregard any random letter posts from my characters as we dot in.
Looks like we have a rogue, a summoner, and a thamaturge. Maybe our pregen could be the fighter. I don't have any experience with the PF2 pregens, so I don't know how good he is. Thoughts?
I'd say my confidence level with PF2 is mediocre. I have to look up things fairly often, but I generally know where to look.

Yeah, something tanky might be good. I’m a martial striker, but not super durable. Not sure what healing is available from you two, but I don’t have any with this guy.

Apparently deleting the first post in a gameplay thread will break the thread, and requires manual intervention from IT. Have emailed support so hopefully it gets fixed soon.
Note to self: don't do that, haha.

That's good to know. I'll have to remember that.
Regarding healing, Illnore can cast Heal once per day, but isn't trained in Medicine. She has the Healing Plaster cantrip, which allows some mud to be used instead of healer's tools. Since she's still first level, I may tweak her trained skills before we start if we need a better healer.

Dolan is trained in medicine, but only has +4 so it isn't reliable. I'm thinking about switching his racket and tweaking his stats to bring that up to +5.
Looks like we have one more interested so that could change things too.

GM Ubi |

Slides are up, feel free to add your tokens in there.
Hopefully we'll get a fourth player, as then we don't have to worry about a pregen.

Gaping flesh wound? Just slap some mud on it. Incredible :D
Ohh, the spell description makes it sound very pleasant in comparison: "You purify some dirt or mud into a pliable, claylike plaster that can aid in clotting and healing."

I just remembered that Illnore has Natural Medicine, so she can use her +5 Nature modifier to treat wounds. No Battle Medicine, though. I'll try to save her single 1st level spell to cast Heal if it's needed in a fight.

I will be spending some time with family this weekend. I will likely have time to post tomorrow during the day, then again Sunday night, but likely not a whole lot more than that.

Yes, apologies, I’ll get a post tonight. Getting ready for school with both kids and hand an unexpected family visit over the weekend.

No worries, just checking in!

It happens! I have a 6 month-old, so not quite at that stage yet but I'm sure it'll arrive far too quickly for my liking. :D
Quit one job, started another, you know how it goes
That's a rough weekend. Typical in what you're doing for work?

Enjoy it while you can. You have a few months until mobility kicks in and they really start to get into stuff.

Nothing too dramatic. I gave my notice and left on good terms, just couldn't afford to take time off to relax between the switch.

Internet is down at home today, no idea why (but I suspect some construction killed a tower) so I don’t know what my posting is going to be like on the near future. Bot as needed.

Regarding who leaves via Shard Cove and who leaves via the docks, what do you guys think? Presumably the group would've discussed it before leaving the sewers.
Filch will leave by the docks. Vurna is the only one left who knows the way to Shard Cove. Her dad will want to stick with her. Daffrid won't want to split up her family and isn't picky about how to get out.
I'd be willing to bet that the accountant will be too fussy to go through the sewers to Shard Cove.
The more people we bring through the docks, the more likely we are to have trouble.
Can we try to persuade Vurna and Yuleg to split up? Thoughts?

![]() |

Depends on the accountants situation. Desperation has a way of lowering standards. Still might be easier to do Flitch and Daffrid's family to the dock and the rest through the cove.

@GM Ubi: Do we have enough time to go to Themolin's and get back to the Rockfish Inn before curfew?
Also, we should ask the folks going out through Shard Cove if they're good swimmers. Or find a rowboat and some flotation devices.

@GM Ubi: Do we have enough time to go to Themolin's and get back to the Rockfish Inn before curfew?
Yep! You've enough time to go there and back.
Busy weekend for me: getting ready to head to the US for 6 weeks to visit family. I'll have my iPad with me so posting will continue. Next one will probably be written mid-Pacific thanks to on-flight wifi. :D

Yikes, that's no fun.
My parents have done a little international travel in the past few months and they said the airlines/airports were not a very fun experience at all right now. And coming from my dad who's travelled a ton for the past 40 years, that's saying something.
Hopefully it all goes smoothly for you!

Apologies, its been a busy week and tonight I frankly can't recall what we are supposed to be doing.
Tomorrow morning after I drop the kids off I'll re-read what's going on and post.
