Yes things are better. With my wife paralyzed with ALS her diaphragms don't function and she's on a ventilator. Just had some complications that turned in to pneumonia. That's all sorted now. Although she had 6 different types of pneuomonia. ouch!

@mrkrrtft: If you haven't seen it, this is a nice (though out-of-date/incomplete) primer on some of the most effective traits. Another player put together a pretty useful guide on the Fighter that includes a review of handy traits. That might help to narrow down your search. Though the ones that Cuchulainn and Zanbabe mentioned are mostly solid. I would veto Ancestral Weapon because it's tied more specifically to the region of Numeria, and Group Fighter (or Militia as its called in the Dragon Empires Primer) because it's tied to Amanandar. Light Sleeper is tied to the god Hanspur, if you want to follow that deity.

Thanks for the link and advice. I knew to not take anything that was related to social, local, ancestry, region, etc. I'll review the link and see if I want to make any changes. I'm working on having a statblock for you late tonight, and will then work on putting the character in to these forums. Thanks to Dorian and Jasmine I have good instructions on getting that set up.
