"Let's see who goes down first yeah?" He says with a laugh as pools the entropic energy around him and kicks the shimmerstone creature.

I might be mistaken, but shouldn't the creature take half again as much damage from Erastil's Entropic Strike because of the Acid vulnerability?

The portal appears active and ready to take you home, so you step through to the mine on Vesk-8. You emerge to find that Jularaz has arrived - the cavern is cleared of everyone aside from himself and Rahla.

Jularaz appears joyous, yet uncomfortably eager that you have returned - "Rahla and I had begun to wonder if you were all were dead, yet here you are, and no doubt you have a lot to tell me about what was discovered on the other side..."

"Indeed we do!" begins Thidreks, "To start with this portal, like the others, does lead to Traverse."

"It goes to the moon? So what did you find up there? Did you uncover why this portal may be erratic?"

Any chance Rahla's people had some healing? Otherwise Erastil is unconscious.

Agatio wobbles to his feet following the elemental’s crushing blow. ”Let’s just get off this dangerous moon.”

”Something to do with the shimmerstone, I think? Oof my head hurts.”

"Yes I can see it wasn't a peaceful trip - judging by the state of you - so what was it you encountered? And what of the Shimmerstone?"

"Our return was impeded by an elemental made of Shimmerstone. Did you know of their existence? Very nasty creature."

Edward slowly acquiesces. "Indeed." He looks around and notices the prisoners are gone. He carefully asks: "If I may inquire, what happened to the prisoners? Did you find anything noteworthy during our absence?"

We found an abandoned Vesk ship with, I think, was an IA inside. We manage to find some help there that give us the ability to clean the passage to go back here.

As for what could have cause the glitter, our investigation has shown that because emotional energy charges the shimmerstone, an infusion of powerful emotions could overcharge it and cause a portal to connect from well beyond its normal range.
May be something happened here?

"Hadn't heard of a Shimmerstone beast. That is news"

"The prisoners have been removed as a precaution, no point having them in here if something problematic came back through the portal - nothing of note at this end whilst you were gone"

"An AI on a crashed ship? Well if the ship was a wreck then it probably isn't presenting much trouble - did you get the ships logs so we could identify it?"

"Hmmm maybe the emotion of the prisoners? Yes we will need to do something about their emotional levels"
