Spell amps you just inject, no class limit on use (were I a mystic I'd just get the spell gem, since it's cheaper). Another good option for the envoys is the serum of enhancement (diplomat).

I'm not great with Starship boons on this toon. Solar powered weapons for +1 to damage is probably my best.
Or I could purchase the wayfinder shield recharge faction boon if you think it would be handy.

I think it's pretty much your call, Kultanien. Extra damage would be helpful for ending the fight quicker, but I've also got a feeling that our opponents might be a bit more agile than the Crypt Warden, so being able to give the shields a good boost at an opportune moment seems like it could be helpful.

Personally, I'm playing this as Faraeon going into this mission with a vendetta against Datch, so he's bringing the big guns until it's time to talk with the locals. If you want to pump that up further, put those solar guns on this crypt ship and let's really confuse these enemies!

I think by the time we have a laser doing 5d6 damage, an extra +1 is pretty insignificant.

If the GM approves I'll purchase Enhanced Shield Regeneration for 2 fame, and slot it as my starship boon.

Benefit: Once per starship combat, you can spend 1 Resolve Point
to push your starship’s shields to the limit. The starship regains a
number of Shield Points (SP) equal to the starship tier × your current
Wayfinder Reputation Tier. You can assign these SP to any facing,
or divide them among any number of facings. A starship can benefit
from this boon only once per starship combat encounter.

For a tier 7 ship, this would give us a bonus 21 shields when and where we need it.

Can I use the captain encourage to help the pilot in initiative?

If so, that is probably the best I can do, aside from taking another gun myself.

I think encouraging the gunners is a good use of Kultanien’s time, especially combined with my Lock On. It might mean we can make full attacks without any penalties.

Anybody feel like maybe we should see if we can get a better scan on the platform now that we're closer to it? I'm finding the lack of information on how much of our damage is actually getting through kinda unsettling for some reason...
