Looking at Jerrica for confirmation she nods. "I think that's the plan. Beside's what kind of aunts would we be if we just up and left?" Sig asks with a wink.
Frostine |
A look of relief crosses her face as she gets up to hug the two women, "Thank you both....that makes me very happy. See Dan...you don't have to worry, you'll be leaving me in very good hands." She says trying to reassure the cleric as she looks from her two friends to Thorgr.
Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir |
"We'll take good care of her. I'm sure your family'll be very happy to see you." Sig says with a good-natured smile.

Ishmael returns with the two women. Woden nods to the blacksmith and healer. "This is my son, Tyr, though Loki gave him that feminine form. And that is Eir, friend of my wife."
He waves his hand and Tyr becomes a man again. Eir looks to Woden. "Woden! What has happened?"
"This is the doing of Loki," Woden answers. "Yggdrasil has forgotten herself, but, for the time being, it should be left that way. Tyr, grant these heroes something good for their efforts. Eir, please tend to the wounded elf."
Tyr nods. "I'll enhance either your armor or your weapon, your choice."
Eir goes over to Nolletta and touches her ankle which instantly becomes healed.

Feeling her eyes get damp she goes to Dan and gives him a hug, "Thank you for everything you did for us....we wouldn't be here if it had not been for you. Could you wait here just a moment before you go? I have something I need to give to you." She says before running from the table and going to their bedroom to fetch their bag. Digging through it she finds what she's looking for and is quickly back in the other room. Going to Dan she hands him a small satchel of gold and silver, "Here...don't argue, just take it. It's you're share of what we've collected so far and is rightfully yours to take home since you kept all of us alive. Please....take it with you and use it to help your family." She says before giving him a kiss on the cheek, "You're a good man and we'll never forget you or what you did for us." She says sounding a bit emotional as she places a hand on her stomach. Inside the satchel is 177 gold and 2 silver.
Frostine |
Nodding she goes to Nolletta and gives her a hug, "I'm sorry we didn't get to know each other better...but I enjoyed the time we did spend together. Good luck to you Ms. Nolletta, you too Dan." She says while wiping her eyes.
Frostine |
She kind of shrugs as she sniffles a little. She was always sad to see people go that she had become attached to, but she understood why they couldn't stay and didn't blame them. Wiping her face again she says, "I....I don't wear armor and all I have is this crossbow...so I'm not sure anything can really be done with it. It's mostly a fall back precaution anyways. I'm not very strong and I only use it when I can't get close to something. I'm not even very good at it. As long as the others needs are taken care of....I'm okay." She says as her stomach complains loudly. Blushing she says, "Well...maybe I'm still a little hungry after all. Most of the time it's hard to tell what I'm feeling like lately." She says as she rubs her stomach to try and get it to quiet down. She knew that rubbing it wouldn't make the hunger go away, but she was hoping that at least it would calm the noises it was making. As she smells the food that Corrie brings to the table her stomach let's out another loud rumble, "Okay okay...sheesh." She says with a sigh as she takes a little bit of each before starting to nibble on her food.

Smiling Sig hands over her battle axe. "I think enhancing this would probably be best. It would be an honer to know that my weapon is godstouched."
Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir |
"Dinner with Woden, no body would believe this.....I barely believe this." Sig says chuckling as she pulls out a chair for Jerrica
Frostine |
Frostine looks at Sig, "You being the story teller here would probably be better suited for this anyways, but Woden is like...to us he's what we call the All Father...he is everything. Loki is like the irritating pain in the ass that you just want to slap repeatedly in the face. He's always up to some kind of mischief and trying to create conflict and problems where there need not be any just for laughs. Though this time the things he's doing go far beyond practical jokes. That's just my simple take on it....like I said before, I was never really educated about much of anything since they felt it would be wasted on me." She says before taking another couple of bites of eggs with her toast. Looking at Woden she says, "Everything Ms. Corrie makes is wonderful. She couldn't make something bad if she tried." She says with pride in her voice. Looking back at Sig and Jerrica and then to Thorgr she says, "I'm sorry if that's not a good explanation...but it's just from bits and pieces that I would over hear other people that would come and visit, or sometimes the servants would be talking about stuff when they thought I wasn't around. It's easy to go unnoticed when you're ignored most of the time. If it weren't for bits and pieces of conversation I'd overhear sometimes....I'd probably be a complete idiot." She says without much feeling in her voice as she takes her time with her breakfast.

"Yeah, Loki is essential chaos for chaos' sake. He breathes it like mortals breathes air." she says before launching into describing the gods as she knew them to be, reciting the different tales she'd picked up.
If I start posting Norse mythology it'll literally be pages
Frostine |
Looking up at Thorgr she says, "Yeah...we do, but we'll manage to get through it. We'll just take one thing at a time like we've been doing." She had some more of her frozen chocolate drink as she continues to nibble on her breakfast. Her stomach was still feeling a little queasy, but she knew she needed to eat.
Frostine |
Her eyes go wide at his answer, "Ooohhhhh....oh I see. Yes...well, that might not be too pleasant either. No matter what though, we'll get through it. We'll find Woden's family and restore them to their rightful place. We'll do it together, right?" She says as she feels her belly do kind of a flip and pushes her plate away.

Risque comes in a short while later. "Oh, you're all here? I hear that we get to go home."
"Where have you been?" Ishmael asks.
"I went searching for another town or something, but it seems the land looped around back to that village we started at," Risque answers. "I had just been avoiding folk and making my way back here."
"I see," Ishmael says. "Well, Dan and Nolletta left. Are you wanting to leave too?"
"Maybe later," Risque says. "I think I need some food and a nap."
She sits down at the table. She gives Ishmael a smile. "I guess you were waiting for me? How cute."
Ishmael grimaces to try and cover the growing color in his cheek. "I don't like unfinished business."
"Right," the changeling says, helping herself to a good amount of food. "What about you lot?"
Frostine |
Despite feeling a bit icky she finds the exchange between Ishmael and Risque to be amusing and can't help but giggle slightly. Covering her mouth she tries to settle down and finish her frozen drink. She didn't know if she ate enough, but with her stomach feeling so funny she didn't want to push things. She just hoped she ate enough to appease everyone, it was about half of the small serving she had put on her plate. Looking up at Risque and Ishmael as she feels she has herself under control she says, "Well...we're glad we met you and when you go home we hope that you arrive there safely and that everything works out for you....both." She says as she tries to cover the smile that she feels creeping into her lips despite herself.
Frostine |
She nearly chokes on her last bite of her frozen drink before managing to swallow it and covers her mouth again as another giggle escapes. She sits patiently and waits for the others to finish their breakfast as she decides to take the last little bit of her toast and nibbles on it.
Frostine |
She shrugs as she tries to hide the grin on her face, "Oh you know....we change our minds about stuff all the time. It's fine really...it's nothing." She says snickering still slightly as she nibbles on her toast.
Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir |
Grinning as she continues eating, Sig leans against Jerrica affectionately. "So headfirst into more adventure."
Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir |
The grin that spreads across Sig's face is one she'd utterly unable to hide. Not that she was trying that hard."Sold!"
