The Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps (Inactive)

Game Master Braingamer

Greetings, all!

Go ahead and roll stats here. 2d10 + 20 for each characteristic. You may choose one characteristic to reroll, but you must take the second result.

After that, roll 1d10 for fate points.
.

1-7: 1 fate point
8-9: 2 fate points
10: 3 fate points

Regiment details are here.

PC Kill Count: 0

Best of luck, Gentlemen!
For the Emperor!

Raska Lubovia, Female Human Medic, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

I forget how many characteristics there are so I'm going to roll 9. Just cut the rest off at the end.

WS: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (6, 8) + 20 = 34
BS: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (3, 7) + 20 = 30
S: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (10, 4) + 20 = 34
T: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (8, 6) + 20 = 34
AG: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (8, 4) + 20 = 32
INT: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (10, 10) + 20 = 40
PER: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (3, 6) + 20 = 29
WP: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (3, 10) + 20 = 33
FEL: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (6, 3) + 20 = 29

Re-roll PER: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (10, 9) + 20 = 39

fate: 1d10 ⇒ 7
I'll take it!

Whoops. Sorry.

You were exactly right. There are 9 characteristics, and you even rolled them in the correct order.
For anyone who doesn't know the abbreviations, they are as follows:
Weapon Skill (WS),
Ballistics Skill (BS),
Strength (S),
Toughness (T),
Agility (Ag),
Intelligence (Int),
Perception (Per),
Willpower (WP), and
Fellowship (Fel).

Male, Vantanian 16th Sabotuer Corps, Storm Trooper
cnd:
3 Damage, Lightly Wounded, left arm disabled

Rollin'

WS: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (3, 8) + 20 = 31
BS: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (7, 4) + 20 = 31
Str: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (7, 5) + 20 = 32
Tuf: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (10, 3) + 20 = 33
Agy: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (5, 1) + 20 = 26
Int: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (7, 3) + 20 = 30
Per: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (8, 4) + 20 = 32
WP: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (2, 4) + 20 = 26
Fel: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (4, 5) + 20 = 29

Re-roll Willpower
WP: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (10, 2) + 20 = 32

Fate: 1d10 ⇒ 2 = 1

Cool. Looks like Psyker / Tech-priest material to me. Or just a really ballsy trooper. Very average rolls all about.

Arkady Bogdanov, Weapon Specialist, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

You see me rollin'.

Weapon Skill (WS): 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (3, 3) + 20 = 26
Ballistics Skill (BS): 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (9, 4) + 20 = 33
Strength (S): 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (1, 9) + 20 = 30
Toughness (T): 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (3, 6) + 20 = 29

Intelligence (Int): 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (5, 5) + 20 = 30
Perception (Per): 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (5, 2) + 20 = 27
Reroll (Per): 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (6, 9) + 20 = 35
Willpower (WP): 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (7, 7) + 20 = 34
Fellowship (Fel): 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (7, 5) + 20 = 32

Fate: 1d10 ⇒ 3

Now, what should I be? This looks like Operator material from a cursory inspection. Maybe medic.

Arkady Bogdanov, Weapon Specialist, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

Doomed Cosmonaught LEVELS UP, selecting OPERATOR ADVANCEMENT 1.

PC Kill Count: 0

Well, this is shaping up nicely. Three out of four have rolled stats.

WS: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (8, 6) + 20 = 34
BS: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (2, 2) + 20 = 24
S: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (1, 8) + 20 = 29
T: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (4, 1) + 20 = 25
AG: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (1, 6) + 20 = 27
Int: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (1, 1) + 20 = 22
Per: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (1, 9) + 20 = 30
Will: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (2, 5) + 20 = 27
Fel: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (1, 7) + 20 = 28
Fate: 1d10 ⇒ 6
No preview, here we go I will make an alias soon
Well this sucker is going to be killed quickly
reroll BS: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (6, 7) + 20 = 33

Arkady Bogdanov, Weapon Specialist, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

Fate has interceded, to make the Doomed Cosmonaught a weapons specialist!

Raska Lubovia, Female Human Medic, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

I'll probably be a medic.

Male, Vantanian 16th Sabotuer Corps, Storm Trooper
cnd:
3 Damage, Lightly Wounded, left arm disabled

Since I cannot decide on class (and it is likely to be less than relevant as this game is all about "how fast does your character die?") I will roll 1d6 to determine my specialization, since there are only 6 options we were given to choose from (Weapon specialist, Heavy Gunner, Medic, Operator, Sargent, and Stormtrooper)

Consider the results to follow this chart, crafted before rolling (entries listed in order of appearance in core rulebook):
1 = Heavy Gunner.
2 = Medic
3 = Operator
4 = Sargent
5 = Weapon Specialist
6 = Storm Trooper

Class: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Alright, Storm Trooper it is. Solid choice. Never played one before though. Fits with low agility (sorta) gets toughness to compensate, not to mention Storm Trooper armor.

Going to work on a better name for this alias...

PC Kill Count: 0

Just keep in mind that you are playing characters. You may want to consider changing your aliases to match that.

And y'know, finishing your character profiles. 'Cause we are getting really close to starting.

Btw sorry this is so late and what role do you think I should be like a easy one or what might be needed? Because like time I sort of got alot of help making my character and does anybody know where I can download the guide book things and the character sheets?

Im not really sure how to get everything to work and a bit confused but hopefully my brother is done universitysoon so he can help me with all this or if somebody else could help me that would be great

Go ahead and roll your stats first. 2d10 + 20, 9 times.
That will determine where your character is most gifted, so we can choose a specialization from there.

I don't have dice even and my brother is over this weekend ill get him to help me out and im sorry im so behind and slow just remember Ibe only been to two I think game nights ever and I still have a ton to learn

PC Kill Count: 0

Well, having dice is not necessary to play this, as this website has a digital dice roller built into it. I'll try to demonstrate.
Name: 1d100 ⇒ 14
[ dice = Name ] 1d100 [ / dice ]
Now, the only thing that is different about the above two lines is that there are spaces in the second. If you remove those spaces, the dice roller will work normally. For instance:
They See Me Rollin: 1d100 ⇒ 82
It's simple form of HTML coding (At least, I think that it's HTML. Voice can confirm.). For instance, right below the text box that you would use to reply to this message there is a button that says "How to Format Your Text: Show." If you click that button, it will show you all the handy text options.

Arkady Bogdanov, Weapon Specialist, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

I generally hear it referred to as BBC coding, its definitely not HTML.

In any case, your brother should be able to give you all the information you need in terms of posting on here. No need to apologize, you just need to get a few of the foundations in place and things will run smoothly.

Technical Tangent:

BBCode (Bulletin Board Code) is the name of the markup language. BBC code is redundant. HTML is how websites work. They are both markup languages, and operate similarly. When you use the BBCode in, it parses it and converts that to HTML styles for display.

PC Kill Count: 0

Hooray for both of us being right!

WS: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (7, 6) + 20 = 33
BS: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (9, 9) + 20 = 38
S: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (2, 8) + 20 = 30
T: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (7, 8) + 20 = 35
AG: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (10, 9) + 20 = 39
INT: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (3, 6) + 20 = 29
PER: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (3, 5) + 20 = 28
WP: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (8, 9) + 20 = 37
FEL: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (3, 4) + 20 = 27
reroll FEL: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (3, 9) + 20 = 32

Petyr Chenkov, Male Human Weapon Specialist, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

Hello friends

Raska Lubovia, Female Human Medic, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

Ready for assignment, sirs.

Excellent rolls! You will make a fine servant of the Emperor.

Final preparations are being made. We will be coming out of the Warp shortly. Ready yourselves for planetfall.

PC Kill Count: 0

This will prove very interesting.

The Emperor Protects!

Male Human Heavy Gunner

Hello, I am here and I bring the big guns. Hehehe.

Gameplay thread added.

Petyr Chenkov, Male Human Weapon Specialist, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

Do your commrade's actions count as your or do they count as there own like person with their own actions? Or do they have a certain amount of actions

They have their own action count. It's a free action for you to give your comrade an order, but it takes them a certain amount of time to do it. The order will explicitly say what kind of action it takes.

Petyr Chenkov, Male Human Weapon Specialist, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

What do you mean by order?

Male, Vantanian 16th Sabotuer Corps, Storm Trooper
cnd:
3 Damage, Lightly Wounded, left arm disabled

you have to direct your comrade. Shout at them to get them to do something. They are considered to be unintelligent and will only take default actions if you do nothing (ie: stand there and be useless; story-wise they may fire blindly to no effect, cower behind cover, or just about anything that has no effect on gameplay.)

Ps: man that building is further than i thought. i may have to head indoors and avoid fire. I'm no good otu in the open, and I'm not going anywhere with that stubber tearing up the street.

Petyr Chenkov, Male Human Weapon Specialist, Vantanian 16th Saboteur Corps

Where is the stuber firing now or where is it facing

The stubber is pretty far away, so it is sort of facing the entire squad. It doesn't need to traverse much to hit anyone in particular, so it could theoretically shoot any of you.
The last person it shot at was Arkady.
