Alduin moves through the door, takes a whiff and then moves along the wall to position himself about ten feet away "Smells like rancid frog legs in here." Then he just stands there on the other side of the door, his armor slowing him too much to effectively do anything for now.

Easily ducking the punches of the monk the creature swing his club at her head but misses wide of the mark.

Ducking under the greatsword the other creature swings low with his club trying to take out the Inquisitor at the knees. A quick sidestep the Kala cause the club to miss.

The party gangs up on the last creature to silence its cries for help.

As you look around the room you see racks for weapons like the walls of this chamber. Above the racks hang various shields, pieces of armor, and standards on display. Most of the racks are empty, but a few weapons remain in place.
A search of the room reveals several item of interest. There is a very sharp dagger made of silver. A small steel shield emblazoned with a leaping dolphin seems to be made with great care. There is also a banner depicting a bird make of living fire.
These items seem like they may be of interest to Harold Bisby.

Marlak takes the dagger and says, "Let's throw the bodies over the side and begin making a collection of items that might interest our benefactor. I will hold onto this dagger, but I suggest we put that shield and that banner together near the exit, unless one of you has any interest in them."

Marlak says, "Let us search the south wing before trying the staircase. Shall two of us open this door while the other two open the door on the other side?"
He searches for traps in this door while he waits for an answer.

"Locked is it? Anyone want to take a crack at the contraption before I chop it to bits with one of these weapons in here?" Alduin looks to retrieve an ax from the weapon racks in the room and perhaps a morningstar if there is one. If no one can manage the lock without force, Alduin is more than willing to brute force it open the might a sharpened blade.

Marlak considers picking the lock, but he reckons that he would have to strip out of his confining armor to have a chance at it. He also considers blasting the door apart with a bomb, but Alduin using his ax may be just as good. "Go ahead and chop the door to splinters."
