Inside you find a horrifying sight: Your onetime nemesis-the female tiefling assasin Sian Daemodus, is chained down to a table, blood pooling on the floor below her, as a bony devil with a wicked looking scorpion tail seems to have slowly been pulling various partys of her body away with its razor sharp talons. So far most of her fingers and a good portion of the skin from her torso seems to have been removed.

Sensing the door open both the bone devil and the now pitiful Sian look over at you. In a cold rasping voice that sounds like metal grating on metal the devil speaks, Excellent. I knew you would come to such an event, and now I can avenge my brother's killers.

Sian's silent look appears to be an appeal for you to kill the devil and then put her out of her misery.

A single seething devil with a vicious, saw-toothed glaive, and a writhing hideous, twitching beard (Barbazu/bearded devil) appears in a flash and puff of brimstone scented smoke. Seeing that it is the only devil to respond to the bone devil's call OH HO! More flesh for me it seems.

The wound causes 2 points of 'bleed' damage each round.

bleed:

The damage a bearded devil deals with its glaive inflicts persistent wounds that cause 2 points of bleed damage. Bleed caused from an infernal wound is particularly difficult to stanch—a DC 17 Heal check stops the damage, and any attempt to heal a creature suffering from an infernal wound must succeed on a DC 16 caster level check or the spell does not function. Success indicates the healing works normally and stops all bleed effects on the victim. The infernal wounds caused by a bearded devil are a supernatural ability of the devil, not of the weapon.

A huge wall of ice appears between the melee with the devils and the tortured Sian.

She cannot be caught flat-footed, nor does she lose her Dex bonus to AC if the attacker is invisible. She still loses her Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. A rogue with this ability can still lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if an opponent successfully uses the feint action (see Combat) against her.
Also the magic helmet prevents Caldir from being flanked.

Frustrated at not killing the first devil, Rangar's eyes go wide as he enters a rage and attacks the strongest devil he sees- the bone devil... KILL...DEVILS!

You last dagger strike barely grazes the bone devil, but the blow is enough of a distraction that the creature is totally unprepared for Ragnar's onslaught as he cuts through it in a frantic series of sword strokes. With the bone devils death, the first fantastically damaged bearded devil disappears and the second, seeing its superior summoner being taken down in a single round, teleports away.
