Don't worry Henk one of them charged Lugo, so between his AC penalty and bless you will hit him.
Oh and Lugo You can take a five foot step back, let Henk get in there, its a valid square. I will asume you are doing that unless I hear differently.
TheRonin
Kyran badly wounds the Dire Rat in front of him and Ornotck, but it still stands.
Direrat 8 Attacks the wizard who burned him!
Bite Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Oh shit!
It gets through Lugo's defenses and deals 1d4 ⇒ 4 damage. Lugo Collapses! And is bleeding out!
I need a fort save of dc10 on your neck turn to stabilize, you will take a -3 on this roll from your negative HP. unless you get healing from an outside source.
Edeldhur is up! Remember b5 is currently empty if you want to move into that square.
Kilarra
Always attacking non-concealed rats first, prioritizing damages ones.
Trident: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Bite: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
What a good round for me :|
If needed: 1d100 ⇒ 58
1d100 ⇒ 45
Lugo Galestorm
Suddenly everything goes black for Lugo, then it feels liek an instand later, he wakes up again, on his back looking at Trax
"Many thanks to you and Besmara"
Getting away from the Rats is Lugo's first goal at the moment. I'll delay till more sapce opens up, or I can move away w/o an AOO. I feel a little useless, because my school power is an AOE, and I don't wanna hit the group, But thats what happens in close quarters.
TheRonin
Edeldhur Slays the rate in C5.
????5
Attacks Edeldhur
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Kilarra Kilarra stabs and takes a bite out of one of the rats
Henk - Slays a rat!
????6 Moves to attack Kilarra
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

You hear rustling of something large at the far end of the bilges under a number of discarded crates and the like
Kyran Westley
Kyran will once again poise himself to stick the pointy end of his rapier into one of the rats the others are attacking.
Flanking rapier 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 2 = 15
damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
TheRonin
being a nitpick, 2 attacks should kill 2 rats.
because your action occurred after everyone else essentially had gone there were no two rats you could attack. You had to move to get to the first rat, then there were no others in your reach. Had you gone earlier in the initiative order you would of been able to take out two of them no problem. Or had they still been bunched around you. I will double check it as I could of over looked something But I was thinking at the time you had already moved and could reach no additional rats.
TheRonin
Nm, you all rolled well enough. Don't worry about it.
With those rolls the remaining rats are quickly taken care of. I want everyone who didn't make their previous roll (failed or didn't make it yet) to roll a perception check.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Anyone who beats 25 can act this this surprise round.
A large mass of matted and tangled fur launches out from the old crates, it is a rat much like the one you just fought but it is larger, close to the size of a man. You can only guess about its relation to the previous, though its gender is far from difficult to tell. It is clearly male. Its long sharp wicked teeth are visible as it snarls and charges the nearest opponent. What ever it is it is clearly not a common member of its species.
The rat launches forward through the wet and damp ship bearing teeth at Kilarra.

Surprise Round!
Keep your current initiatives
Bite!!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
The Large rat creature misses by a mile as it snaps at Kilarra.
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Order:
????? - 18
Kyran 17
Edeldhur 16
Ornotck 10
Trax 10
Kilarra 7
Henk 5
Mr Big and ugly is up again! He will continue to attack the green creature who likes to bite things. Mayhaps hes taken a fancy to her?
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Fortunately all the templates in the world can't seem to let this guy hit worth shit!
Edeldhur
Edeldhur presses on against the enormous rat
I don't think I have any chance for floanking without going through threatened squares, so I'll just throw a normal Rapier strike. Kyran, you should have gone around to B4, leaving an opening for me to flank also :/
Attack roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Damage if it hits: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Kilarra
Flanking woop!
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Trident: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Bite:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
I must have forgotten to change after copy/paste last time, derp.
Mommas come out to play, has she? Let's go a round and see if she lasts more'n a few moments. She then takes a decent sized chunk out of the big rat.
Ornotck Kalsor
know nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
The first ones were dire rats, but how have they stayed hidden on such a ship. we should keep them and show them to scourge or plugg, to get them off our backs, I dont think we will be able to eat them without some magic making any sickness that might be on them go away, i do not trust my cooking skills that much.
We more then likely wont have much time to be done in here, I say we search down in here while no one is looking, see if we can find anything of use, might even find what that boy was keelhauled for in here.
perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Trax Vorkosigan
|
Trax laughs and wlaks over to lugo as they begin searching the hold, "Caareful though, I think we should have someone keep an eye out. Scourge and Plugg may send someone to check on us, and it would be a shame for them to discover us in the middle of takeing whatever it is you find."
He then focuses on Lugo, "Feeling ok? Looked like a really nasty wound you recieved
Kilarra
A great smile crosses Kilarras face as Lugo references her. "Thats Demon Princess of the Seas to you, bookworm." She gives him a hearty clap on the back. "Look nearly as green as me, you should go for a lay down. Now, how much sneaking around can we do down here afore somebody notices?"
