Brodgar Gilthelm
Does the underbrush do anything to further block movement? I don't recall offhand how difficult terrain 'stacks', but Brodgar is at 30 feet of movement so as long as he can move through it he should be OK.
With his companion moving off to Jinjer's aid, Brodgar changes his intended flanking maneuver into a bee line for the gnome who felled his companions. He takes a quick, stumbling slash at his opponent as he makes his way through the underbrush.

Round 2:
With his initial target in melee, the halfling trudges around the tree to get Stilgar in his sights, sending a bullet speeding his way. Seeing it coming, Stilgar raises his shield and the bullet puts a solid dent in its surface.
The tall human likewise switches targets, sending an arrow Brodgar's way, but it merely bites into the inquisitor's shield.
Stilgar barrels along, closing the gap between himself and Jinjer.
The now grotesquely muscled dwarf pushes through the brush and sends his hammer hurtling toward Brodgar. The intervening undergrowth causes him to misjudge the throw and the weapon plunges into the snow a full foot short of its target.
Magnus lies on the road, mumbling incoherently.
Jinjer backpedals away from her attacker, but the snow does not allow a swift retreat and he jabs at her. The fist connects, knuckles bouncing off her forehead. 4hp damage. Once she has her distance, she snaps off a shot, sending an arrow plunging into the man's broad chest. Were it not for his thick layer of muscle, he'd be sporting a punctured lung.
The gnome, unarmored and without weapon in hand, exercises the better part of valor, falling back from Brodgar's advance and pulling a pair of throwing knives from his belt.
Brodgar heads for the gnome, his magically enhanced speed allowing him to charge through the brush, across the snow, and plant his axe into the gnome's chest. He gives a squeal and collapses.
Gaius kneels down next to Tarrana, the small swirl of wind busily coating her in snow dissipates, as if insulted by his intrusion.
Tarrana is up and may act, then I'll finish out the round. I'm leaving the gnome on the map for tactical purposes, but he's out of the fight for the time being.
Tarrana
Grumbling Tarrana stands up and fills the air with warmth, though in the dwarves hearts it is the fire of the forge and the pounding of an earthquake.
"I hate tea."
Move action stand up. Standard action cast Bless. Should catch most of the party from where I'm centered.
Shadowborn
Yep. That five feet of movement put Jinjer just inside the edge.
Round 2, con't.:
Tarrana stands, the light layer of snow she was covered in wisping away into steam as she invokes her magic. The spell inspires and invigorates the party.
The gap-toothed brute closes on Jinjer once more, throwing a left hook she just manages to block with her bow.
The second dwarf lobs one of his hand axes at Brodgar, his nearest foe, but again the inquisitor is able to deflect the incoming projectile with his shield.
Back to the top of the initiative order. Don't forget to calculate in the bless bonus for your attacks.
Brodgar Gilthelm
Brodgar keeps his shield up and pushes through the snow towards the nearest of his many assailants, the vigor instilled by Tarrana's spell coursing through him as he swings his axe at the first dwarf.

Round 3:
The halfling whirls another bullet at Stilgar and striking him in the side, but its impact is absorbed by the cleric's mail.
The tall human fires again at Brodgar, who gets another arrow in his shield but remains unharmed.
Stilgar moves up on Jinjer's barrel-chested assailant. His hammer thuds solidly in the man's side, only the fellow's quick reflexes keep him from having the weapon crush his ribs. Profanities spew from his mouth as he turns to concentrate on this new foe.
The grotesquely muscled dwarf closes on Brodgar, pulling a warhammer from his belt raising it overhead and bringing it down in a savage arc. Brodgar catches the brunt of the blow on his shield, sliding back a few inches under the force of the hit.
Jinjer continues to retreat from her opponent, and he snaps out with another jab. However with Stilgar pressing the attack, he fumbles his footing and she's able to duck away from the strike. In one fluid motion she draws an arrow, sets it to the string, lets fly, and plants the missile in the man's neck. He gives a gurgle, takes a half step toward her, fists raised, and then falls face first into the snow.
Brodgar retaliates against his opponent, his axe slicing a large gouge into the mutant dwarf's swollen flesh, which bleeds readily enough.
Gaius stays where he is, turning to Magnus and shaking him fervently by the shoulders until he awakens.
Magnus and Tarrana's actions next, then the rest of the opponents to finish out the round.
Magnus Thunderf00t
I just realized that I'm supposed to be entitled to act in surprise rounds via forewarned... my bad, so my loss, I suppose.
Magnus quickly gathers his senses and assesses the situation. He stands up and brings out his crossbow and begins to load it.

What would you have done? "Oh please guys don't ambush us we're just like *arrow sprouts from chest*
Just so I understand as I haven't been payin close attention. Snow counts as hindering terrain and that little h up in the upper let corner is a halfling archer?
Gaius Gracci
Gaius Gracci wrote:Um.... who woke up Magnus? That would be you. You were right there, so I had you use an action to get him up this round.
Ah well that makes my round 3 simple. I would probably have used that action to wake him but I would in getneral prefer to make that decision.

Ah well that makes my round 3 simple. I would probably have used that action to wake him but I would in general prefer to make that decision.

Tarrana walks into the snow and calls out to the halfling.
"Come here! I demand to see your eyes before they melt from your head!"

End of Round 3:
Tarrana makes her demand of the halfling, who jerks his head up at the sound of her voice, eyes locked on the oracle as if nothing else exists.
The stocky brawler lies in the snow, twitching slightly.
The axe-wielding dwarf hucks his second axe at Brodgar, who deflects yet another attack. Frowning, he pulls a battle axe from his back, takes a two-handed grip and prepares for melee.
Magnus Thunderf00t
Magnus steps to avoid the approaching halfling (a15), then fires a bolt into its back as it gets closer to Tarrana. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 171d8 ⇒ 8
Jinjer
Jinjer returns Stilgar's nod as she readies another arrow and looks around for a target. When she finds one, she fires.
I'm confused by the map - is H1 the human Jinjer shot earlier or is he the "h"? Either way, she shoots at one of them! And misses - ugh!
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Shadowborn
Stilgar, thanks for the catch. Map's been updated.
Jinjer, capital Hs for the humans, lower case for the halfling. H1 is the one with the bow. The other is down (hence the *) but I'm keeping him on the map for tactical reasons (e.g. if Stilgar wants to channel but keep downed opponents out of the area of effect).
Brodgar Gilthelm
Wary of the second dwarf's approach, greataxe in hand, Brodgar quickly calls upon Baal's protection to further shield himself from harm. The distraction of prayer is great enough that his axe-arm falters in its reply to the grotesquely-muscled dwarf's last attack.
Swift-action Judgement to bring Brodgar's AC to 18 with a +1 sacred bonus.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

The halfling plows his way through the snow towards Tarrana, according to her command, getting as close as he can this round.
The tall human fires his bow at Jinjer once again, his arrow thudding into her armor, but the point is denied flesh. 2hp damage, negated by the armor's DR.
Stilgar moves shoulder to shoulder with Brodgar, supporting him against the attacks of his dwarven opponents.
The swollen dwarf lashes out at Brodgar again with his hammer, and again the inquisitor manages to knock it aside.
Jinjer returns fire on her attacker but misses, her arrow thudding into the tree in front of him.
Brodgar swings back at his attacker, but is off-balance, allowing the dwarf to sidestep his axe.
Gaius, I just noticed you're aiming your attack at the well in the center of the clearing. New target?
Gaius Gracci
Well that well is well on its way to being a ne'er do well. Please change target to the tall human trying to kill Jinger.
Round 4

Round 5:
The halfling, regaining his senses, pulls a knife from his belt and tosses it underhanded at Tarrana, catching her in the hip. 3 hp damage.
The tall human send another shot winging Jinjer's way, but misses by a hair's breadth.
Stilgar moves in to engage the axe-wielding dwarf, taking an overhand swing with his warhammer. Move to J13; Attack Roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 The dwarf parries the hammer aside, avoiding a skull crushing, but the weapon thuds painfully into his shoulder.
The warped dwarf swings his hammer at Brodgar, but his god-blessed armor easily deflects the attack.
Jinjer returns fire on the tall man, her arrow once again biting into the tree he's using as cover.
Brodgar returns the attack against his opponent, but slips in the snow. Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Gaius sends his sling bullet hurtling towards the tall man at the far end of the clearing, but his shot is foiled by a low-hanging branch.
Magnus maneuvers for a clear shot and then fires upon the halfling, catching him solidly in the side with the bolt.
Tarrana raises her hands and sends sheets of flame at her target. Being hip deep in snow does little to assist him in avoiding the flames, and he takes the full brunt of their heat. The snow at least will provide some small relief as his burned body drops unconscious into it.
The axe-wielding dwarf swings at Stilgar, the blade biting into his mail and drawing blood. 7hp damage.
Map
I've changed the map to highlight the downed opponents in red, just to help differentiate them from the rest. Hopefully no one here suffers from red-green color-blindness.
Brodgar Gilthelm
Hah, that's two 1s in a row for Brodgar. At least only one of them was actually mine.
Becoming increasingly flustered, Brodgar recovers from his misstep and brings his weapon up for an overhead blow, calling on Baal to convert his protection into raw power so that he can finish his foe and come to Stilgar's aid.
Swift Action to change Judgement to Destruction for +1 sacred damage to weapon damage.

Magnus loads another bolt, then attempts parley by another means. "Stand down, you are outnumbered. " intimidate 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Gaius Gracci
Round 6
Gaius wades through the deep snow trying to reach the embattled dwarves.
Not sure where I am on the map. Was my move on the turn I target the well redacted as well as my targeting of the well? In any case please full move me towards Stilgar/Bogdar do not bring me into combat however.
Tarrana
"Ow!" Tarrana exclaims as she removes the small dagger from her thigh. Moving closer to the mainfight Tarrana looks to lend some form of support to her allies.
Double move to F12.

The tall human fires again at Jinjer, the arrow whizzing past her to plunge into the snow. Then he begins to move away from the battlefield. You note he has snowshoes on his feet, making his progress over the snow easier.
Stilgar's attack is more on target this time, impacting the dwarf's helm with a loud clang. His eyes glaze slightly as he staggers back, but he doesn't fall.
The misshapen dwarf swings at Brodgar again, his hammer bypasses the shield and crashes painfully into the inquisitor's chest. 9hp damage.
Jinjer's shot grazes the tall human's thigh, he gives a curse as his blood spatters the snow with crimson drops.
Brodgar curses his opponent and brings his axe down in a vicious arc, biting through the dwarf's boiled leather and deep into his shoulder. His opponent gives a groan and drops. Brodgar begins churning through the snow in a semi-circle around the remaining dwarf.
Gaius maneuvers through the snow, pulling out a flask as he does.
Magnus attempts to get the opponents to stand down. While the human appears to be moving off, the dwarf stubbornly continues to press the attack.
Tarrana removes the knife and moves closer to the melee.
The dwarf swings at Stilgar again, his axe biting a notch into Stilgar's shield rim.
