Sven is unsure whether to believe the stag or not, but has never tried to 'read' such a creature before, so he's at a bit of a loss. Most of the conversation is spent with him looking around at the others, making sure that he is not the only one that hears the creature speaking!

shocked she replied Indeed, i never said that the Fey are evil, I said that First we came to rescue a taldan lady that was kidnapped a few days ago at a place called "Bright Fork" along the Zimaran road, and secondly to investigate why this area is under Winter when everywhere else it is summer. Now we were attacked yesterday evening by small faeries and we did defend ourselves, but we were attacked first. I'm prepared to respond with violence, if it comes to it. I'll not attack first, but I'll defend myself.

"It is some type of fey trick. The elk does not speak ,but another hidden one speaks for him. Ready yourselves to fight."

Given what happened with Hassan's size and the fairy's slumber, I'd like to retcon my Round 3, if it please you.
Round 3
Shrunken to halfling size, Hassan is still focused on combat, and not worried about the shrinkage for now.
He sees the fairy fall, asleep near him, and moves to end it before it awakens, leaving the deer to the others. Dropping his bow, he walks the 20' in the snow to the side of the fallen fairie, drawing his scimitar i the process.
Will try to CdG, next round, provided he's still asleep or at least give him AoO if he awakens and moves this round.

I'll still go with the move to get CdG, next turn swallowing the AoO in the process for Round 3. I was confused, but the opportunity to end an enemy while asleep is too good to pass up.
Round 4 (if I'm still alive)
Shrunken Hassan takes a mighty chop at the sleeping faerie trying to end while it rests.
"Die, in the name of the Dawnflower, evil fey. And so will follow all your kind that cross Her Right Hand."
CDG: 1d4 + 1 + 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 + (3) + 1 = 9 So the sleepign faerie needs a DC 14 fort save to survive if the 9 damage doesn't kill it.

With no way to reach the flying faerie, and his bow on the ground far away, Hassan calls upon his Goddess, and flings a bolt of fire from his fingertips at the nearby faerie. He then turns to see who these newcomers are, friend or foe.

Rushing over to retrieve his bow, Hassan agrees with the Strix. "These woods are dangerous enough without unknown strangers near us on the trail. These could be the bandits we've been looking for. Ready yourselves, in the name of the scouring Sun!"
Kirraak
Kirraak will take a place behind the others, considering how hurt he is, better let the big one the center of attention this time.
He will prepare his bow to shoot if one of the approaching figures try anything that could be considered dangerous.

Dmg: 1d8 ⇒ 7 +1 if less than 30 ft.

If some of you wish to hide, you have 3 rounds until the followers catch you, roll a stealth check.
Sven Ragnarson
Sven readies his hammer, bracing for whatever may be coming. He's never been good at hiding, though he's never felt much desire for it either. He does, however, adopt a more defensive position, as he can't imagine the approaching men are coming to congratulate them.
GM Niles RoW
Kirraak hides but the others stand there waiting for the humanoids to approach.
Eventually, three forms take distinct shape and you can see that they are indeed armed men, they shout out
Who are you! This is the Border Wood, under the protection of the High Sentinels. Make yourselves known!
Merisiel Stormwind
Poking her head from around Sven's back
First we came to rescue a taldan lady that was kidnapped a few days ago at a place called "Bright Fork" along the Zimaran road, and secondly to investigate why this area is under Winter when everywhere else it is summer. We were told that the powers that rule in Irisen might have some connection to it and that the local fey have been winter touched. We seek to understand and hopefully if it should be within our grasp put things back to normal. Since this is your forest maybe you might know what is going on and help us? and explain to us who are the High Sentinels?
Sven Ragnarson
Sven lifts his head slightly at the chin. Merisiel's words seemed strong, and he wished to add his own presence to the conversation, even if silently.
Hassan al'Akbar
|
Hassan nods at Merisiel's words, agreeing with her. He looks diligently at the newcomers, taking in their clothing (are they in winter gear? How are they armed?) and their demeanor, looking for any sign of their intentions.
Sense Motive, are they hostile?: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

Councillor Ionnia Teppen, from Heldren rescued the lone survivor of the lady's guard and send us out here in the hope we could achieve any of these goal or at least bring back some information that could be usefull
GM Niles RoW
We think we know where these bandits are camped, there are too many for the three of us though, so we could use your help. This way.
The trio indicates the path and further down the path you were traveling on.
