Gojira, King of Kaiju
Gojira opens his massive maw and a beam of atomic energy roasts the King in Yellow for a moment....a beam that could disintegrate what it touched....20d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 3, 5, 3, 4, 1, 6, 5, 5, 4, 4, 6, 6, 5, 4, 6, 5, 6) = 92 fire damage plus 20d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 5, 4, 3, 6, 1, 1, 1, 4, 2, 3, 1, 5, 6, 5, 1, 5, 5) = 64 force damage....DC 42 Ref half....
BZZZAAAAPPPPP!!!!
Koran "The Hammer of Thor"
On his turn
Koran flys across the gap between him and Hastur, closing the distance with surprising speed.
"You have colorful magics great Hastur. But can you hold your own in melee?" The giant Tiefling takes two heavy swings at The King in Yellow.
Amazing initiative: 1d20 + 34 ⇒ (12) + 34 = 46 Damage: 6d6 + 2d6 + 1d6 + 1d6 + 49 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 1, 2, 6) + (4, 3) + (4) + (5) + 49 = 88
Sudden attack: 1d20 + 41 ⇒ (6) + 41 = 47 Again: 1d20 + 41 ⇒ (10) + 41 = 51 Damage: 6d6 + 2d6 + 1d6 + 1d6 + 49 ⇒ (1, 4, 1, 6, 5, 6) + (1, 3) + (6) + (6) + 49 = 88
Total of 276 damage minus fire and/or electricity resistance.
Full-round to run 360 feet through the air. 1 MP and a swift action for sudden attack. 1 MP for amazing initiative.
Sieg Alfbrecht
Sieg likewise runs at Hastur, bringing up his wellspring of Rage for a worthy foe, and growing in size.
Will vs Unspeakable Presence: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (17) + 24 = 41
Awesome.
"DIE! THIRTY-SIX HIT KUGI PUNCH!" Vital Strikes in da house. Huge sized Unarmed Strikes. Eat dat 6d8.
Sudden Attack: 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (6) + 36 = 42
Sudden Attack roll 2: 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (20) + 36 = 56
Damage: 18d8 + 171 + 2d6 ⇒ (4, 8, 2, 1, 4, 8, 7, 4, 4, 4, 3, 2, 7, 5, 6, 8, 8, 1) + 171 + (1, 4) = 262
Amazing Initiative: 1d20 + 29 ⇒ (19) + 29 = 48
Damage: 18d8 + 150 + 2d6 ⇒ (8, 2, 4, 1, 2, 2, 5, 3, 2, 8, 4, 4, 7, 1, 3, 4, 7, 2) + 150 + (2, 3) = 224
Confirm Sudden Attack: 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (9) + 36 = 45
Surge, because why not: 1d10 ⇒ 3
Confirms, I think. Barely.
Crit damage: 6d8 + 57 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 3, 5, 3) + 57 = 77
Full round run, Free action Rage and Titan's Rage (1 MP), Swift action Sudden Attack (1 MP), Amazing Initiative (1 MP).
563 total damage. Didn't bother rolling Lightning damage. I THINK I remembered all the damage bonuses. Forgot for a minute there you got 3x Str et al bonus too. Mythic Vital Strike is f$@%ing INSANE.
And all for the low, low price of 4 Mythic Power!
Note, if the second hit in fact missed, I would use the Surge on that one and screw the crit, obviously.
Mosura, also known as Mothra
Mosura, still dominated by the King in Yellow, obeys its master's telepathic commands to protect....
She blasts Sieg and Koran each with a forked lightning bolt!
Reflex save DC 41 halves damage and negates staggered effect....
Koran is zapped for 20d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 4, 6, 3, 5, 4, 2, 6, 4, 2, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 5, 1, 1, 4) = 83 electricity damage and is staggered for 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds....
Sieg is zapped for 20d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 3, 5, 3, 4, 5, 3, 5, 2, 3, 2, 4, 6, 5, 5, 3, 6, 3) = 77 electricity damage and is staggered for 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds....
Koran "The Hammer of Thor"
Surge for Koran's first attack. 1d10 ⇒ 1
Will: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (1) + 22 = 23
Reroll with strong-willed will: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (17) + 22 = 39 + surge: 1d10 ⇒ 1
Hastur can't get an AoO on Koran because of titan's bane.
EDIT: Ooops I surged twice. Koran's first attack still misses
Radsworth
As Hastur vanishes, like all other enemies under Korans hammer, Radsworth watches the Kaiju closely.
Still incorporeal, he pulls a small chest from his pocket and recites a spell. A large magical chest appears, which he snags from the air. Opening it, he pulls a large object from the chest, covered in a bright green cloth.
Grizzlegob, glabrezu ancestor
Thousands of miles away, in the evergreen forest of Meridian Lake Park in Texas, Grizzlegob gets an evil tingling in his vile bones and an unholy gleam in his blood-red eyes.....
The time draws nigh, demon horde!! Great-Grandaddy Grizzlegob means to get in on this rumpus.... I ain't letting no watered-down tiefling twerp great-grandspawn o' mine have all the fun without his old great-grandaddy.... Harharharr!! Savage little Thor-worshipper has turned out to be quite the hotshot.... Gettin' too big for his britches, is what!
A chorus of unholy cackles, shrieks, and howls from the demonic horde echoes through the woodlands, frightening even their fierce weresquatch allies....
Marcus Greer
Let's see if Marcus can't strike the final blow. Really too bad he's immune to both Mind Affecting and Power Word Kill...I kinda wanted to hit him with the one-two punch of PWK and Phantasmal Killer and see what stuck.
I think I may hit him with an Empowered Boneshatter. I have to run out for a bit so I don't have time to make a full post, but as I recall, he's basically a skeleton? Meaning he'd take +50% from Boneshatter (on top of the +50% from Empower).
Derrik Stonesmith
Temp HP; Battle Trance: 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Heroic Initiative: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (12) + 22 = 34
Derrik raises Dawnbringer into the air as he runs toward the King in Yellow suddenly becoming a crimson blur halfway there and appearing above the creature striking down. The Axe a Vibrant White and several times its normal size, it seems to react to the KiY abnormally well.
Heroic Will: 1d20 + 34 ⇒ (14) + 34 = 48
Adamantine Mind: 1d20 + 43 ⇒ (13) + 43 = 56
As he does so the King In Yellow feels a heavy presence countering his aura as if another stronger than it. In the KiY's eyes he sees another form, one ripping itself out of Derrik's very soul and from his back.
Heroic Acrobatics: 1d20 + 66 ⇒ (16) + 66 = 82 Nikes
Legend Killer: 1d20 + 44 ⇒ (6) + 44 = 501d8 + 50 + 2d6 + 2d6 + 2d6 + 9d6 ⇒ (4) + 50 + (4, 1) + (4, 3) + (1, 6) + (2, 2, 5, 1, 6, 1, 2, 5, 2) = 99 = 198 foe biten
Self Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
1 MP Amazing Init to move 150 closer, then Aerial Assualt. Swift Full on Smite. LP to Foe Bite.
Kraid, Fallen Archangel
A powerful entity resplendent with white armor but carrying a dark aura appears only in the King in Yellows eye. He towers over Derrik looming over him with a Greatsword in hand a slightly fanged maw contrasing his otherwise angelic appearance.
" What's THIS!? Such a delicious evil permeating from you King in Yellow, Hastur! I had always wanted to clash with you and rend your existence asunder. My proxy will have to do so in my stead. " Kraid giving an overabundant and intimidating gaze " It would be in your best interest to not underestimate this vessel and to stop your silly mind games... Less your find out why I chose him! I wonder how long you'll last against your own toys. "
Kraid smiles a face unbecoming of one who once called himself an Archangel, Sadistic glee almost.
The King in Yellow needs to make a DC 40 Will save or be Stunned
Sieg Alfbrecht
So, re-rolling my damage. I would have made the Amazing Initiative hit first in that case (I get extra damage on my first hit a round and I'd want it to be the big one), and then Sudden Attack afterwards. Shouldn't change anything since both hit. Both should have had an extra +1 to-hit (not that it mattered) because I forgot about Weapon Focus.
Vital Strike: 12d8 + 171 + 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 8, 4, 4, 4, 1, 5, 2, 2, 2, 6) + 171 + (5, 6) = 223
Sudden Attack: 3d8 + 46 ⇒ (5, 2, 2) + 46 = 55
Crit damage: 3d8 + 46 ⇒ (5, 3, 1) + 46 = 55
So I only do a mere (lel) 333 damage. The saddest part is it's now no longer a 36 hit spiked punch, and more of a 15 (18 counting crit, perhaps). Still respectable, I think, though my to-hit against Hastur is ridiculously low. I may actually spend an action on True Strike next round just to make sure I hit.
Hastur, The King in Yellow
As Derrik's mythic blow cuts through the tattered yellow robes, a pallid mask looks ap at the spectral form of the fallen archangel and a sepulchral gasp issues from behind this mask.... The robe falls to the churning sea below and is swept about by clashing waves before it and the mask sink into the briny deep....
Michael Johnson 66
Right, just finished reading your posts in discussion....
Rewind: robe and mask fly back up and become Hastur again! Lol....
Let the madness and fun continue!
Gojira instead baked both Koran and Sieg with his shorter-range cone of atomic doom.... 92 fire damage and 64 force, Ref 42 halves damage--good luck, lads!
Derrik Stonesmith
Sadly even a 20 wouldnt help because he's got FoM and you dont have a swift for this or the next round. Sad panda
Mj make sure to roll an attack on Derrik with Mosura as he would be near the KiY too though around and almost flanking getting set up to own him.. and the KiY gets an AoO if he isnt stunned
Marcus Greer
Marcus' saves are pretty terribad so he ain't coming nowhere near this mofo.
Marcus spends one MP on Divine Metamastery, then sits back from afar and plops a Reach Empowered Mythic Holy Smite on top of Hastur.
SR: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (6) + 24 = 30
SR: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (6) + 24 = 30
Force of Will re-roll SR: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (19) + 24 = 43
There we go.
Damage: 15d10 ⇒ (10, 5, 7, 10, 6, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 7, 3, 6, 6, 6) = 100
DC 24 Will save for half and to avoid being Blinded for 2 rounds. Successful save still means he's Blind for 1 round.
Disappointed by my lack of super long range options. Lots of stuff I need to be within 250 feet to use.
Dr. Allison Jones
Allison flies over to Gojira and attempts once more to break the King in Yellow's control over him.
Using move action and standard action to fly 180 ft towards Gojira.
Free action for Amazing Initiative (1 Mythic Power) and using movement action in place of standard action to fly another 90 ft. Hopefully the 270 ft plus movement last turn plus Gojira's movements have brought us close enough for a touch attack...
Swift Action for Wild Arcana to cast Protection from Evil on Gojira (1 Mythic Power) giving him another saving throw. He receives a +2 resistance bonus and a +2 moral bonus to the new saving throw. Protection from Evil lasts for the next 17 minutes.
Allison is currently displaced for 50% concealment, and she is currently invisible assuming either helps prevent her from being hit by an AoO.
