Nope. George may be in real trouble. I may persistant glittedust us all hoping the harpies are at least blinded and can be killed by the others. But George has a horrible will save, he is certain to fail.

He doesn't, but his AC is sky high iirc. I remember that monsters had to roll a Nat 20 to hit him in the previous scenario.

Relived at the defeat of the harpies. Boswick carefully flies to the ground landing near the tied up Hill Giants. He reaches out to Iomedae to make sure the living giant is indeed evil. He takes out a wand and uses it on himself.

Then he cures himself from his lessened strength. Casting lesser restoration for 1d4 ⇒ 2 strength damage healed.
Once he's fit again, he surveys the area for spoils of war by flying around, trying to spot their nest.

Flying up and search the area and see that one of the giant statues seems to be coverer in rubbish and the back of the head his carves out or caved in.

Yeah that is a tough fight. The tactics are really well though out and the fact that they are flying makes things tough. A lot of times I seem GM's hand wave the flying rules and that takes away from fights like this. The Harpies are flyers and they should dominate and you guys should feel out of your element a little.

What type of bows did the harpies have? Bos doesn't typically use a bow, but might come in handy with those special arrows, if I get stuck at range. Unless someone else would like to use them.

Yeah I never noticed that a lot of my typical tactics are not so successful against flying creatures. It just hasn't come up that often. The spiked pit, grease, and most of the things I summon are land bound. Just coincidence that I summoned something with flying and a ranged attack. I usually summon earth elementals. I may need to rethink my next spells to learn.
The ring would be best for melee guys if you don't already have something better. If you melee guys don't need it, I could use the ring of protection in place of my ring of feather falling. One of you could borrow that if needed.

The Human near the cooking pot is very grateful to be released. I thought I was giant stew for sure. I don't know how I can ever repay you. When we get to a civilized city I'll talk to the people I work for to see about reward or maybe a job offer if you're interested. How long have you been here? How many giants have you seen? Do the giants have any other allies or servants than the harpies? Did the rest of them go further up the stairs?

Name is Tatho. I was with a caravan out of Magnimar on our way to Kara Maga. I though we had made an arrangement with the giants not to attack but harpies messed that up royally and my caravan was destroyed. that was yesterday I think, I was knocked-out and don't rightly know for how long. There were 2 giants that meet us at the bottom of the steps and 4 more here on the landing. Allies? The Harpies? Nah they weren't allies at all hated each other.
