Helm Akodo
|
Helm's grimace from his wound subsides, and his face is now a mask of serenity in the swirling melee of battle.
Seeing an opportunity to flank with the wounded Thaco, the samurai takes a step behind the Aspis agent and swings his razor-sharp katana.
"HiYAAAA!"
MW katana (cold iron)(two-handed, flank) attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 6 + 2 = 181d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Maude-Investigator
|
It ate my post from this morning. :( Very sad.
Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Maude shrieks as something unseen causes her great pain.
She looks around wildly, spots the new guy Blue and moves toward him.
If Blue moves within range, she'll attack with her Rapier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 and if she hits will deal 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 points of damage.
Paco Bumblekins
|
Will Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
PAco takes less damage than one might have expected.
Then, after checking with Prufrock for what to do next and seeing the rat/cat incline its head towards Maude, Paco moves that direction and sends a blast of watery pain straight at the blue baddy.
Water Blast: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Rah'im
|
Rah'im continues to rage as he lefts out a guttaral grunt and goes full ham on the red baddy, ripping him to shreds and stomping on what's left, not stopping until the filthy Aspis agent is thoroughly dead.
Claw: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Claw: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Gore: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Bite: 1d20 + 8 - 5 ⇒ (9) + 8 - 5 = 12
Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Hoof: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Hoof: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Claw Confirm: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Hoof Confirm: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Summary: If AC 20: 46 damage, if AC 18: 51 damage

And now you see why shifters are not normally allowed in PFS :-) To be fair, the unchained barbarian is nice for TWF/natural weapon builds too.
The swordsman vanishes into a bloody mass.
Paco's blast of water has a similar effect on the last Aspis agent, and silence descends once again on the warehouse.
All is quiet once again in the warehouse. After maybe half an hour you hear the signal from Dolroya, and she slips into the building with her team. Noting the bodies she shrugs. "It was them or you."
It looks like she arranged for a ship to come up in the dead of night and the crew swam over the warehouse, carefully removing crates. She scowls a little at the charred crates but seems pleased the damage isn't worse.
"I'll send word to Ambrus about your assistance..." she promises.
Any last things you want to do before I close up? I'll try to do chronicles over the next day or so.
"Blessings of Desna to you.."
Anyone who would like the Ritual of Startdust chronicle as well as their regular one let me know. Only one per player though, and I don't think you can have both core and classic, so you might want to think about whether this is the right character for it.

Glad you enjoyed it. I like how many of the earlier encounters can be run without combat and people have a bit of fun with RPing rather than just rolling to hit.
