Do you really want to go that close to a dragon?

The dragon's flying high, right? Dragons fly fast enough that I'm not going to avoid being within a move of it no matter where I go. If it's low enough to full attack if I go there, I'll just duck into cover on the other side of the aisle (but a square farther back due to the diagonals)

Well no prob. Just live with the consequences. ;-)

Nold / Shay?

He casts lightning bolt on Nold and Nat and goes behind his throne in total cover. The dragon takes flight and it seems he will attack soon.

Noldoli moves away from the group (towards the throne)

Shayna tries to dodge the blast of energy.

She advances with Noldoli.

Vlazis could do it?

What I mean is that the reason that certain people (that only I can speak for) might not be moving is that they are unconscious. ;)

Noldoli and Shayna should not be unconcious and said they are moving.

I went ahead and moved Noldoli and Shayna forward.

Shayna does not get targeted by the bolt, but alas steps on a trap.

The dragon turns toward Vlazis and does nothing.

Vlazis hustles towards the kobold king, taking cover against his spells behind the lip of the stage.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 To see if the dragon's planning something particularly nasty.

The wall he's next to. I didn't see a corner of the lightning bolt's origin square that had a clear line to all of Vlazis's corners

It is clear line of sight. You have to be behind a wall. Not next to a wall. Check the picture ?

I was going off of "To determine whether your target has cover from your ranged attack, choose a corner of your square. If any line from this corner to any corner of the target’s square passes through a square or border that blocks line of effect or provides cover, or through a square occupied by a creature, the target has cover."

I added the lines of sight I'm referring to (blue ones being the clear lines, and red ones being blocked by the walls). Either way, of course it's your call, just trying to explain my thinking.

Check the grey line it has no line obstructed by a wall. By a slow sofa, aka throne, but not wall. And not for the caster.

Just checking, are we now on the 4 player adjustment. It might not matter, cause we are in a bad way.

There is no 4 player adjustment. But no worries, I will play him extra cautious. I do not want anyone to die!If one gets close to him he is toast.
