Velmar puffs up his chest.

"It's ok madam, we are here to help. What can you tell us about the last time you saw him? Where does he usually go after work? Was he acting at all particular before he went missing?"

Velmar glances at Wax and gives her a quizzical look.

Majara looks genuinely touched by Velmar's good nature and desire to help. Thinking for a moment though, she furrows her brow.

"I saw him a few days ago in the shop, but he said he had to leave early and then left immediately as soon as she arrived. I know she has something to do with his disappearance, that girl he's been spending time with. Nolaria, I think her name is. She works over at the temple of Erastil. She's a meddler, she is. And she puts dangerous ideas into poor Gellion's head."

"Jinkies!"

A clue, a clue! We found a clue!

Trying to repress his excitement as much as possible he asks.

"What sort dangerous ideas?"

Majara has to stop to think a moment, as if she didn't expect to have to give specifics.

"Oh, I think they get up to all sorts of mischief. Most of it innocent I'm sure, but I think she's the one who drives him to it."

DC 18 Sense Motive:
It seems like, while Gellion and Nolaria are certainly friends, Majara might not have a totally confident view of their relationship.

Sense motive: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1

It doesn't cross Velmar's mind that Majara could be hiding something. Nothing about the way she paused or the nature of this mischief causing any type repercussions for either the missing apprentice or Majara herself, comes anywhere near Velmar's thoughts. Majara could have probably told Velmar Wax wasn't standing next to him, and he would believe it.

"Thank you for all of your assistance madam, rest assured we will find your missing apprentice. Ready Wax?"

Tinder has finished mumbling excitedly to himself and begins helping with the search. Noting the exterior of the building, he then turns to examine the passers-by, trying to see if anyone is paying too much attention.

perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

As Wax and Velmar exit the workshop they see Kojo and Tinder scowering the shop.

Nolaria

"Guys! Did you find any thing? Footprints, scrap of clothing, ghost endo or exoplasm? We found a clue! A name! Nolaria! Should we go to the next shop now!?"

M Gnome Alchemist

Tinder squints even harder at the passersby, who seem to be moving super slowly, as if through wading through syrup. A delicious syrup you could drizzle over your morning yogurt, mixing in with walnuts and granola and almonds and a few choice peices of raw fish...just for flavor.

He turns to Velmar as he comes out of the shop and says "erm, well I'm not sure yet if I've noticed anything, but I sure am looking!"

M Gnome Alchemist

Tinder sqints even harder, treading that fine line between aggressive contemplation and a glare. A passerby looks up startled at the intensity of his furrowed brow and paper thin slits cracking his eyelids.

"Tinder, it is ok, I don't think anything is there."
