He then stomps below decks.

"What direction are you going MISTER Chal" Ix checks to find they were now travelling directly with the wind on a bearing or 315. "Do you know where we are? If there are reefs in this region? NO! YOU don't. Go make yourself useful and scrub the deck." She continues.
Ix slinks off like a cat caught with its paw in the goldfish bowl. Finding the cleaning equipment he tries to make up for his mistakes.

Capt O'Malley steers the boat herself after Ix's terrible display. After a while she hands the job off to a sailor and retires to the aft cabin in the sterncastle. The weather is fair and the sea calm during your voyage, but soon there is a commotion on deck:

You have been using a net to catch fish. This time you have caught a sea centaur, a strange-looking creature, with a top half like a man, and a bottom half like a sea horse. It struggles feebly, clutching at the net with webbed fingers, trying to saw it apart with a long, serrated dagger made of some sea shell. You all gather around to see the strange sight.

We’ll have to kill it – they’re terrible bad luck to have on board, says one of the senior sailors. Another of the sailors is already readying his cutlass...

Whattaya do?

Capt O'Malley: Be careful you two. Calin you shouldn't swim down there alone. Bucket, I have a diving bell. She motions to sailors on deck to find it and lower it into the water.

The bottom is only about 10 fathoms (60ft) down. The bell will be lowered to the bottom, and you can swim until I tell you that you need a breath, then you must return to the bell. oops. I'm having trouble remembering things I think.

Calin breaths comfortably and follows the sea centaurs down to the wreck. As the diving bell reaches the bottom you all take a deep breath from under it, and swim after Calin.

Calin, suddenly the sea centaurs swim away leaving you alone. You notice you are giving off a glow like the sea centaurs. Looking down you see the lower half of your body has turned into a sea centaur... The bastards! You have been taken and transformed by the potion in the conche to replace their lost companion.

You see the wreck looming up ahead of you. Keep going or return to the ship?
