You never know what good will might shine on us." He directs to the group mostly and then to Minerva once the group agrees.

With Minerva translating the alpha nods and replies, "Yes we would be happy to have you stay the night. You don't need to worry yourself with our problems, we can handle them eventually."

Without a diplomacy check the alpha is not going to talk about the pack's problems but there are others you could speak to. Minerva is the only one who can do the diplomacy check since she is the only one able to communicate. The 'Tongues' spell should last through the diplomacy check then it would peter out.

The canines look at you a little different and cocked heads to the side as the spell runs out but wait patiently. The meat is brought out and a portion of it brought to your group.
