(Here is a place where you guys can talk IC between game sessions. Take advantage of this to take care of between game discussion and even shopping.)
The tavern is warm at night, with the immediate threat of bandits gone, a noticeable amount of travelers have begun to pass through the Trading Post. This evening a fire rages in the brick stove, a long legged blond female bard with a clear Varisian accent sings songs of lost love, and the ale tastes vaguely of blueberry.
Two groups of travelers sit at tables exchanging rumours and off-colour jokes.

Khriox |

Having taken some time to himself up on the second story tower of the trading post's east side, Carlyle would step down into the area below, blue eyes scanning over the current inhabitants of the bar area.
Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Splendid.
Not noticing Aero, Max or Ranthor in the immediate area, the human would step over to a vacant seat between two strangers in the group of travelers.
"Good day, friends." He said in a pleasant tone as he applied a bit of tobacco into the old-looking pipe before lighting it and poking the tip between his teeth. "What's the word of the road? Go on, come out with it! I like a good rumor or two~" Carlyle winked and smiled, glancing around to the strangers. "Oh. Pardon me, Carlyle Val'zedohayne is the name."
Taking off his cap and goggles for the first time since he'd enjoyed his bath, the young man's short blonde hair would stand up rather comically after Carlyle ran his gloved hand through it.
The song the bard was singing struck a chord with the gunner, his attention drawing over to her instead of the travelers around him for a few moments to catch a few lines of her song. His playful grin faltering a moment as memories came flooding back. The events of the day had forced such unessential information out of Carlyle's skull, the rush of combat and the threat of injury or death a potent dose of short-term amnesia that quickly faded away. Thoughts of what he left behind after he fled from his home.
While pretending to be interested in what the strangers had to say, his eyes would linger on the bard.

![]() |

Aero took a seat outside the tavern. The soft pleasant sounds of singing and merriment enveloped him in the darkness, but he heard none of it. His thoughts lie far away. He was in moral crisis.
Sure, he dealt the final blow to the bandit leader, but somehow, it wasn't what he was expecting. As his sword pierced deep into the bandit, Aero could not avoid seeing the look in the other man's eyes. He expected to see anger, hatred and steadfast determination. He expected the man to claw for Aero as if to drag him to the deepest circles of hell, eager to bind Aero as an eternal adversary. But what Aero saw in the bandit's eyes was surprise, weakness, and then... regret. He had the sense that the bandit was even with the house of Iomedae at that final moment. His debt had been paid.
Aero was confused. This man was wicked, wrong, and deserving of nothing, but also redeemable? That's not what he had been taught as a child about the wicked. The wicked were people from whom no good could come. Their souls were the property of devils and it was Aero's job to dispatch them from their mortal coil.
But redemption?
Surely, if the bandit had died in his sleep, his soul would be bound in hell this night. And yet, because of his own actions, Aero had the distinct sense that the bandit's soul was not in hell. Rather than writhing eternal torment, it was at the point of the sword that the bandit had his reckoning. He merely collected a debt, and now paid, had Aero saved a soul rather than damned one?
Aero stared at the clear sky, unsure of when he'd ever seen that many stars.

One of the men sitting as a table catches the introduction of Carlyle.
"Greeting t'ere young fellar. Me name be Figgins and word be t'at thetown of Narnhold has need of an accomplished blacksmith such as meself. As such I be t'inking of taking we wares t'ere and applying me trade. Too much bloody competition up t'ere in Brevoy and Pitiax be full o' bandits tis... so lookin to me like Varnhold be t'e best chance fer an honest man such as meself to make a life. How about yourself? Any rumours? I hear t'e roads be bandit ridden..."
While pretending to be interested in what the strangers had to say, his eyes would linger on the bard.
The bard sings a song:
"He drowns in his dreams
An exquisite extreme I know
He’s as damned as he seems
And more heaven than a heart could hold
And if I try to save him
My whole world could cave in
It just ain't right
It just ain't right
Oh and I don't know
I don't know what he's after
But he's so beautiful
Such a beautiful disaster
And if I could hold on
Through the tears and the laughter
Would it be beautiful?
Or just a beautiful disaster"
While singing she scans the audience to see if her performance is striking a chord with anyone in particular. When she spots Carlyle getting lost in the song... or maybe her comely appearance her blue eyes linger upon him and a smile cracks the corners of her mouth.

Aero took a seat outside the tavern. The soft pleasant sounds of singing and merriment enveloped him in the darkness, but he heard none of it. His thoughts lie far away. He was in moral crisis.
The smell of fresh, warm, sugared blueberry fills the night air. The doors to the tavern open and the large shape of Svetlana enters the porch.
"Oh there you are Darling!!! I just baked up a fresh batch of my Blueberry muffins! I wanted to give you the first taste of them seeing as how you saved us earlier this evening."
Seeing the unsettled look upon the young man's face. Svetlana pauses and takes a seat next to Aero.
"Are you ok Dear?"

Ranthor, after all that had happened, was not sure how Oleg would react to what he was going to ask him. But that would not stop him, it had to be done. He went into the tavern, and when he spotted Oleg, took a deep breath and walked up to him. "Oleg, might I have a word with you in private?"

Lass |

Oleg is standing looking pleased at the business and feeling settled in after all the trouble of late. Its been a long time since he has been able to relax and not worry about bandit raids and their extortionist schemes. When he hears Ranthor speak, he turns with a broad smile.
"Oleg, might I have a word with you in private?"
He takes in the expression and demenour of Ranthor.
"Why yes of course Lad. Right this way."
He leads Ranthor to a back corner lit by a the ambient light of nearby lanterns yet out of range for the cacophony of merriment in the main room.
"Now what is it I can do for you?"

GM Khriox |

"It's a pleasure, Figgins." Carlyle would say, wedging his words in between a break of the blacksmith's explanation. "Ah, well an honest blacksmith is worth a mountain of silver in a place like this- I'm sure you'll soon be a favorite with such a charming manner about you." The young man would grin, "You ought to show me your wares sometime, Figgins."
Pausing a moment, his eyes would travel back to the smiling bard. The direct eye contact between them made him blush, making his response to the blacksmith's question a bit belated, "Ah. Rumors? Mhm, I heard a very brave lot stood up to the bandits right here in this outpost, and that their leader is a strapping young musketeer. They say he is the 'Fastest Gun in Golarion'" The right side of his mouth perked, "But rumors are rumors, I suppose."
He grinned, leaning back in his chair, letting out a puff of smoke. His musket was propped up against the table next to him.

"I told you before, that when I was younger I fell in to a bandit gang, but I didn't say how I got out. Our last raid was on a river barge headed for New Stetven, we hit them hard and we had the advantage, two to one. A group of adventures were hired to guard the barge, and it quickly became clear that we were out matched. My uncle who was our gang leader pushed me in front of the Venture Captain, Xavros Wyvernjack, as he himself fled. Xavros spared me because of my age and my story." Takes a long drag of ale. "He invested in me, took me in, taught me Magic and swordplay and how to blend the two. That boy we caught today needs someone to invest in him if he is to ever find a better life for himself and his brother. And I think that, you and your wife would be the best to help him,"
"Now hear me out, before you argue. The boy has no real place to go, and you and your wife could use a younger pair of legs to climb up and patch the holes that Carlyle put in the roof of the bunkhouse, and with more business having someone to run your stable leaves you to better serve your guests. Also if the boy's younger brother were to come to stay he could surly help wife in the kitchen. I think that Mikol, does owe you some of the money he cost you, but I also think that if you gave him the chance to pay it back, like say giving him a job, he would jump at it." As Ranthor stands to leave “What you decide to do is up to you, and your wife. Please, think about it and discuss it with Svetlana." Ranthor leaves to go stand on the north wall to watch the stars and finish his blueberry ale, for a few hours before going to bed.

![]() |

(Alright, now I think I can jump in.)
Aurelie is pretty calm as evening hours arrive, tending to the last of her arrow wound; it's almost completely gone already. As this mostly amounts to idle work, she does check on others around the tavern as well; everyone else in the group gets at least a quick visit to ensure they're doing well or at least well enough in light of the day's fighting. Aerodus in particular, and she gives a quiet apology about her abrupt (and perhaps frightening) means of healing him... she had no time to explain before doing it.
There is also a general thanks and polite apology (more the former than the latter) about everyone being willing to let her speak with the bandits first. "It turned out to be nothing more than a fool's errand, but I felt obligated to try. If they wish to laugh about their cruel lifestyle even when an alternative is offered, then they chose their own fate. Thank you for giving them the chance, at least."
Maximilian and Aerodus also get additional praise, and some concerned caution/advice. "Thank you for standing beside me when we confronted them. I had thought you could lie in ambush as well, but you chose to take on quite some risk for my idea. I only ask that from here on you pay further mind to your safety... you shouldn't have to come so close to death simply because I acted on my ideals."
Beyond this, she also uses minor magical abilities (Prestidigitation castings) to help with cleaning up the remains of the tavern battle's mess. She also holds some occasional interest in Mikol's situation, though offers little direct comment on it yet. (OOC: Mostly holding back since it seems Ranthor has a possible solution that keeps up good story flow in any case)
In general, she's calm and polite but quiet outside of directly addressing the day's events unless some other topic arises.

Oleg
The older man looks at Ranthor with a serious look. He digests the proposal about offering the young hoodlum a chance at redemption. While the older man has nothing but contempt for the bandits as a result of all the troubles he ponders the possibilities of showing the fella a different way.
"I suppose we could do with a bit more help putting things back together. He'll be needing help though keeping on the straight and arrow. You offering to help guide him in that regard? Also... he did mention something about a little brother. What are you thinking of in regard to that?"
In the Tavern
The bard finshes her song and moves to the bar to refresh her cup. The gathering of travels applaud her performance and she happily thanks them.
Figgins turns to Carlyle:
"A marksman isit? Sure I've heard about t'em new fangled t'ings before but have only had t'e chance to tinker up on 'em once or twice. You saying you got yourself one of t'em? If'n so I'd like to set me eyes on it if'n youdont mind now."

Lass |

The Moon Radishes were fine and exactly what Svetlana had requested.
If you did not roll your lvl 3 hit points at the end of the game Tuesday, we can do that on the upcoming game session.
I should be online a bit early on the coming Tuesday so I'll happily be available to help with lvling or other character issues.

![]() |

Alright, I've finished up my Level 3 stuff beyond rolling for HP and determining favored class bonus. I'll forward you the sheet as soon as we finish those two items on Tuesday, if that's good?
Also I have some questions, mostly related to summoned creatures since Aurelie can now bring them in. When you get a chance, could you look at the following?
1 - Her Bloodline bonus gives the summoned creatures DR X/Evil, where X is half her Sorc level (e.g. they have to be hit by something with the Evil sub-type like a demon or devil for the DR to be bypassed). Just thought you should know. No response necessary, just didn't want you blindsided by it mid-session.
2 - (Not summon-related) Aurelie now has an always-on Resist Acid 5 and Resist Cold 5. Will this Resist Cold be sufficient for her to ignore the non-lethal damage effects and other related effects of being out in very cold weather? The rules don't say either way, so it seems to be a "common sense or ask your DM" thing. This one I do need a reply on at your convenience.
3 - Summon Monster's text is interesting. Unlike in D&D 3.5e, her summons retain their normal Intelligence scores and languages (if any) known. This means she can't directly communicate with most of her summons at this time, and will have to rely on their default behavior (attack enemies), tricking them into doing things (for example, throwing some food in the direction she wants a summoned Dog to run), or getting other help in guiding them. No reply necessary, just letting you know they aren't Intelligence 3 and speaking Celestial like in previous editions.
4 - However, Summon Monster also indicates that most of her summons (Elementals excepted, but she can communicate with them to give orders) have an alignment matching hers; Neutral Good in this case. So you have Intelligence 2, Neutral Good animals summoned from the holy planes running around. Where I'm going with this is... generally, would you have any issues with them acting within their alignment?
For example, you've probably seen news stories even in real life of a dog saving a family member from danger, and a real life dog is Int 2, alignment True Neutral in D&D/PF terms. Would you find it plausible for her summoned creatures to do that same sort of thing on a wider scale due to their Good alignment, provided they can understand the situation at hand with their Intelligence 2 score? It's not something I plan to abuse (e.g. "wow, the Celestial Dolphin somehow knows how to fix wagons!", which is absurd), just something that might come up for finding someone in a burning building or similar scenarios. How do you feel about this?

Great Game last night. The RP was really quite a lot of fun. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I.
Sorry i had to leave rather abruptly but I hope that you guys had a chance to set up a plan of action for dealing with the Stag Lord's fort.
Also, the first module is almost completed. Once it is Im going to give you guys about a year of in-game time to set up your first town. So start considering where you want this town to go and what its name might be.
Also consider what your character will do over this year of in-game time; set up shops, track down friends, explore more, craft items etc.

Stuff happens; it's alright! As far as a plan... yes, I... think we did? I got called AFK every so often during it, but it sounds like the group has at least two basic ideas to go on now, or at least three if you want to count certain more insane plans among them.

I just wanted to put out a disclaimer about Aero's screed. It's not personal. Jeff, the player, doesn't even agree with all of it. But Jeff really enjoys embodying viewpoints that aren't his own and attempting to argue them as far as he can. You guys have been a great RP group and I wouldn't want to create tension or break that up.
Just as background, I am trying to explore the darker side of LG. I sincerely believe it exists. I appreciate that JC gave me the opportunity to attempt to craft a framework. It was a lot of fun to write.
I'm going to be travelling over the weekend, but I definitely look forward to hearing your reactions.
Also, Jeff does not usually talk in the third person. :)

Lass |

In regards to the issue of whether or not you guys are aware yet of the Rostland Sword Lords granting you guys a kingdom, that has yet to be offered you. As such your characters would not yet know this /unless/ you already have in-character designs on making a kingdom irregardless of Rostland or Brevoys intentions.

![]() |

I just wanted to put out a disclaimer about Aero's screed. It's not personal. Jeff, the player, doesn't even agree with all of it.
It's cool. I keep character and player distinct for (among other reasons) pretty much the reasons you've related in this post. I don't see much of a problem here.
Also, Jeff does not usually talk in the third person. :)
That is a pity. Speaking in third person is a good habit to acquire, because it means Jeff can look forward to a career as a pro wrestler if all else fails! Which is good for Jeff, and bad for you! Why? Because they care; Jeff doesn't! Jeff goes into the ring for one thing, and one thing only: Scoring the 1, 2, 3!
...Well, maybe not. But I got a quick laugh out of the idea, so figured I'd share!
Edit: Thanks for the clarification, Lass. I'll keep that in mind going forward!

I'm actually having trouble remembering what the PCs had. Last time I was able to successfully track GP/Treasure my character had was... the very start of play, actually. I wasn't sure how many things they acquired were split, what sort of shopping they have access to, and so on.
Some of this was no doubt caused by my getting interrupted by phone calls toward the end of most sessions, I know I did not hear some of the discussion on it as a result. So if it's alright, could we go over this sometime and get sorted out who has what? I'm at literally "Aurelie's inventory is the same as it was at the start of first session" and my notes are not complete enough to figure this out alone.
Sorry if that's a bit annoying... hopefully it won't take long to set right.

Here is the Phat Lootz found at the Stag Lord's fort and on their bodies:
On Stag Lord:
2 potions cure moderate wounds
+1 Leather Armor
+1 Composite Longbow
Amulet of Natural Armor
Stag Helm
Dovan
+1 Rapier
300 gp
Auchs
2 Potions of Cure Moderate Wounds
Potion of Lesser Restoration
70 gp
In the Fort
Stag Lords Armory: 2 Chests - assorted coins and gems = 600 gp
Cellar: Assorted gear/equipment and trade goods worth 9,000gp
So with your year off we can say that you guys will have time to purchase or commission magic items with your cut of the loot. Build me a shopping list and I'll give you a price.
Kingdom Building
When you guys look over the kingdom building rules and start planning out how you want to make your first city function, you will start with 50 BPs (building points) to purchase various buildings. As you selected the site of the Stag Lords Fort for your city, you automatically gain a castle in that location.
I'll leave it to you guys to settle whatever roles you want to assume in leading the Kingdom.
Also you guys should start to consider a name for your city and perhaps even for the kingdom.
For next week
Since we have at least one person who is going to be absent from next weeks game, I reckon what we can do is first layout your city, and second run a mini adventure. I have no work the next day so would be happy to stay up a wee bit. Perhaps you fellas might wish to track down that orphanage, or scout more? Let me know.
Level 4
Congrats on finishing the first module of Kingmaker and make sure you guys update your character sheets to lvl 4. :-)

![]() |

Perhaps you fellas might wish to track down that orphanage, or scout more? Let me know.
Both of these seem relevant. The whole western half and major parts of the east remain unexplored, after all. As far as the orphanage goes... I'm trying to recall, where did the younger bandits say it was? My memory's saying "some distance away, in Brevoy itself", but I can't be sure of that.

![]() |

Cyd, that honestly sounds fine and convenient. One of the major things I was planning on acquiring one way or another was some Wands of Cure Light Wounds (one carried by Aero and/or Max since they can use them via spell-list access, the other by Aurelie since she can use them semi-reliably via Use Magic Device checks).
On a side note, I'm going to set up a kingdom sheet soon with the things we definitely know about already (such as the free castle via putting it in the Stag Lord Fort hex). Does anyone particularly want to do anything related to the kingdom management beyond that, or should I try my hand at taking care of it, or did we want to do this by committee, etc.? I'm open to input.

![]() |

This is what I have so far
It looks like we won't have to rely on Aero to be the tank anymore. I'm looking forward to playing with Graylok. What do you have in mind for his backstory?

Wanted to give everyone a heads-up, my work is getting extremely busy and will remain so for the foreseeable future. If I'm a bit late to sessions, please understand. Feel free to start without me, I will catch up as soon as I can.
Ideally, this will be no interruption at all; last week's session was also on a 'work is very busy' day and I showed up on time, so it may be just fine. Still, if things go a bit awry on my end, that's why.

Do what you can Aurelie... and invest in a mic so that the Queen can RP with the rest of us. My big concern is that if you end up being the Queen/face of the party then the kingdom RP will grind to a halt. I tend to be an improv RP person but if I have to take time out to wait on the party face to type Im going to appoint someone else to that role.
I dont wish to sound harsh, I really like your character and RP. My mind is working out all kinds of subplots for her BUT in terms of the most important leadership position, not having a mic is just prohibitive at this point.

to Pegasus, If it's a money issue I have a mic that I could send you if that would help.
To Lass, this is Graylok ready to go with backstory and arch-nemesis

![]() |

It's not a money issue, it's a driver issue. USB Mics (and pretty much my entire sound system runs through USB) just don't play nice with Linux, as near as I can tell...
Edit: That said, I am looking into one possible solution. It might work. If it does, the downside is my voice will sound very low-quality and mechanical; it should be easily comprehensible, it'll just sound weird. Would this be acceptable?
Edit 2: The solution is looking increasingly workable. I don't think I'll have it ready for this week's session, but I SHOULD have it good to go by next week. If you're willing to deal with an odd-mechanical voice, this will most likely work. Want me to get that set up?
Edit 3, this is rapidly becoming a play-by-play: Very encouraging result... a recent patch partially fixed my problem. The USB mic is now at least registering and is, in theory, passing on audio to the system. In practice it's transmitting nothing but muteness, but I think if I poke at this a tiny bit more I'll be able to get the rest of the aforementioned fix going and may even be ready in time for Tuesday.

![]() |

Success. Or so extremely close to it that I cannot possibly fail at solving the problem now; I just need a few more hours to tweak this.
Final edit: Ah, the hell with the long story about what was wrong with it. At any rate, it seems to be okay now and I can probably join you in voice on Tuesday. Cyd can verify I made a successful test call; I need to do a few more adjustments so it quits freezing my system, but that's not hard.

Wanted to let you know I may be running slightly behind on character reactions and that purchase list. I've become rather sick over the last day or so, enough-so that it's making it really hard to get even basic tasks done. Feel Better!!! I know your throat was acting up on Tuesday. Hopefully some of that Turkey helps ya out!
Reward
To Areo, your presented by the Nuns at the orphanage with a blessed longsword of Iomedae. Its a +1, +2 vs. undead longsword that grants the user the spell like ability of Zone of Truth (DC 17) once per day. It has a 60 glow.
Everyone else is given a reward of 200 gp.

![]() |

So, shopping lists, right? With 2,400 GP (2,200 cited earlier plus the 200 orphanage), I'm thinking...
Rod of Metamagic - Merciful, Lesser: 1500 GP (And if you wonder why... the aftermath of the last adventure is all the reason in the world.)
Wand of Cure Light Wounds: 750 GP
2400 - 1500 - 750 = 150 GP left. Can't think of much to spend it on, since Aurelie's going to have to lighten her equipment load anyway to carry the rod, assuming she can even acquire it.
Any issues with this plan? Would others like to offer advice on other items to acquire, or even pitch in a little to help on buying the CLW wand since that's pretty much going to help the entire party? I'm open to thoughts.

![]() |

I wish the Edit Post window was a bit longer. Forgot something... I am considering one other purchase if possible, a pair of Speak with Animals scrolls (which would need to be used via her Use Magic Device skill). These are 25 GP apiece market price, so this would leave her with 100 GP when combined with the above.
Edit: Also, I wanted to touch upon something that has come up in a few fights, people calling for Aurelie to do healing. I want to point out that she generally won't, unless the recipient is Dying or there is nothing else she can better spend her time on. The reason is simple... Aurelie cannot keep up with the healing demands of an ongoing fight.
She's a holy-themed character, but she's not a Cleric or even a Paladin. Her most reliable healing does 1d4+2 at this time and won't get much better (1d4+3 at level 6, 1d4+4 at level 8, etc.). 1d8+1 for the proposed wand. Enemies are already outpacing that multiple times over, so it's usually more productive for her to disable the threat than tend to a wound mid-fight.
Aurelie is an incidental healer, not a primary one, and no realistic amount of effort is going to change that. She's good at ranged damage, limited terrain control, a little buffing, and various summoning. The healing is mostly a flavor item to reflect her ties to Sarenrae.

![]() |

as well as a wand of cure light wounds 20 charges.
Can you confirm, twenty, 20? Typical wands have 50. If you meant to say 20, that's fine (I just wanted to be sure since it's an unusual total); what would be the GP price of this?
I'll try to have a character-reaction up later today or tomorrow to what happened last session, too. Starting to feel a bit better and more up to doing things that require at-length thought.

Lass |

50 is fine for full cost of the two items. Glad your feeling better.
Ive added a new framework into the campaign so on Tuesday I'll set up the game early to give you guys a chance to add your characters to it. I'm still getting used to it meself and need some instructive material on this but in between work and life Ive been toying with it.

![]() |

50 is fine for full cost of the two items. Glad your feeling better.
Still a bit weak, but functional enough. Should be good for tomorrow.
Didn't quite understand the rest of this reply, though. "For full cost of the two items"... I'm guessing you're meaning Aurelie is being billed 1500 GP (full Rod cost) + 750 GP (full 50 charge CLW wand cost)? If so, that's absolutely fine though I welcome 'donations' to help ease the cost since it's pretty much a quality-of-life (literally, in this case!) thing for the whole party.
Or if I missed something, can you clarify?
On a side note for the other players and PCs to consider, a few days ago Cyd was asking me about the prospect of Aurelie stepping up to become the party's primary magical crafter. Frankly, she's never going to be good at it (Sorcs are not Wizards), but she can sorta-kinda passably do it by either level 5 or 7 depending on what items the PCs need and are able to finance.
Should I look into this? The prospect of the magic item stores (which explicitly kind of exist in Kingmaker) covering for it also came up, but I'm not immediately sure how well it would work.

![]() |

Aurelie would be the Wondrous Item crafter,
Okay, I want to start seriously discussing this possibility since Aurelie gets one (1) feat at this level. She could take a crafting feat. I am not familiar with how that works, so want advice and realistic expectations.
Should she take it at Sorc 5? Which feat(s) should she take? Given she currently posts a +5 in Spellcraft (3 class bonus, 1 rank, 1 Intelligence), how high will it need to be to meet the party's needs? What items will all of you be expecting her to make, on what sort of time table? Please remember she will never be as good at it as a Wizard; she is a Sorc, and also has to spend some of her resources on Ruler-level stuff (keeping Cha skills up to a decent modifier, etc.). Still, I'm open to realistic proposals and want to hear them.
If all of you could sound off about this topic, I'd appreciate it!

Phat Lizard Lootz

King Veket:
+1 keen Trident
+1 Leather Armour
Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds
Jeweled Crown (550 gp)
In the Hut of Shishtak
Ring of Swimming

Jeweled collar on the Caimans (300gp combined)
Recovery
Bringing the body of Graylock back and having the raise dead performed requires a good deal of recovery. Maximilian who was also badly hurt also requires a bit of rehabilitation. So I'm going to advance the game clock an additional month and a half so next session will begin at the end of June. Im going to send a couple of emails to Players that have story arcs in play, this will leave it up to the players to convey their interpretations on this in game times.

Aurelie has no direct interest in any of the items except for the CMW Potion. She won't contest the rest of it; if you want it, awesome, if you don't want it, it's good to be sold.
Come to think of it, do we have a list of what cure potions everyone has at this point? It seems like it's going to be increasingly important for everyone to carry at least one healing item on them, to avoid some potentially disastrous situations going forward.

Cyd the Arcmagi wrote:Aurelie would be the Wondrous Item crafter,Okay, I want to start seriously discussing this possibility since Aurelie gets one (1) feat at this level.
If you're going to pick a craft feat, then I say go with Craft Wondrous Item, mainly because these Items can be used by the whole Party. The stat boosters will help at things that we are already doing and raising the bonuses we give the Kingdom. Waiting for your Spellcraft to get higher wouldn't hurt but there are thing that you could make now easily so it is kind of up to you. To help you see what I mean, I posted a link on skype for a document that will help find the DC, cost, and time needed to craft Wondrous items with a few examples. Here, here, and here are the links to the long explanations of how it works.
Edit:I know, the examples of the Ioun Stones, are too expensive, but the point is they could be done with a roll of 12 , the others you could just take 10.

Okay... I think that's do-able. Thank you for the examples! What I need to decide within the next day or two then is whether to take it now (level 5), or wait until level 7. I am willing to have Aurelie take it now if there are things the party can finance either now or at level 6, and they definitely need.
Everyone, please let me know what sort of things you'd be looking at for levels 5-6, after the costs of getting Graylok revived, and I'll see if I can work with that.
